I was one of the peeps requesting a master volume slider on steam discussion page, great to see that it is monitored and considered. Really great podcast as usual!
Wasn't able to watch it live, but this was such a banger guys. I am so incredibly excited for the future of this game. Thank you Samuel for your wonderful start as Community Manager. Thank you Tel for hosting and thank you to everyone with a growing passion for the game. We're all in this together for the long haul as a community, and I could not be more excited after the reddit AMA and this Tales from the Shores episode.
This was awesome, we learned so much and was fun reacting to all the bombshells with chat. Not having to recreate a new character for ironman mode was a huge relief.
@@belandinoThat's a good point actually. I find the game to be less complex in ironman mode, making the competition more pure and fair. I won't need to worry about going to the auction house and buying in bulk in order to beat other players who are doing that (and might even be boosting themselves by trading with their own characters from a different account). I just need to optimize run times to vendors, etc. But yeah, it does take away from the MMO aspect. I think maybe since everyone has been an ironman for 2 months, the smart thing to do if you want both would be to keep your original account ironman but make a new character you invested less time in as your "main" which can trade if you want to experience that. Again, this is for people who maybe want both an ironman and a "main".
@@TheJesseWu What I mean is that ironman mode is useless. If they want to introduce it, they should remove resources from shops or something like that. But the best thing would be not introducing the mode at all, otherwise nobody will trade and this will limit the social aspect of the game by a lot, along with its growth. We don't need to follow the same path as RS. This game should stay unique.
I don't think there's anything wrong with spending a massive portion of 2025 being QOL. It helps ensure that everything is running smoothly FOR the massive updates that will be within the year as well. I'd rather be looped into nonstop QOL, than having a half assed experience while all dev time is into a boss or something miniscule compared to the overall play experience. Dungeoneering type gameplay much preferred over "raids". I personally don't enjoy the LONGER LOCKED IN content. I don't want to be hyper focused for 30-60+ mins at a time. It's a huge reason I stopped pvm in runescape. Being bound to a place for more than 5mins is not enjoyable for some people. Dungeoneering at least allows you the ability to dive in and also leave within a low allotted time. To each their own, but more time locked in, makes me less desired.
this man doesn't have a little drizzle or syrup on his pancakes? I'm quitting. And while I'm not too fond of it myself what about bananas and chocolate???
Actually I'm disappointed in the community but I'm comparing it with RSC. There's hardly any public chatter by comparison IMO. In some respects it's understandable since the game is very click intensive. I also think the idle time log out is too short. Banks are cumbersome. When I use a rift why can't I see how many of the items I'm banking I Already have in the bank. At this point for some strange reason the whole game seems like...One Small Favor.... To me. I really miss seeing Andrew and Paul running around in-game on quest release days. Dungeonerring was probably the best addition to RS because it gave a purpose to having the lvs we worked so hard to grind. Neither game is very handicapped friendly. For example... Queueing... It's great... IF you have the use of BOTH hands. I tried holding the shift key down with my nose but it's hard to see where to click with my mouse. A three button mouse one handed play feature for those that need it would be more inclusive. Much Bossing in RS is impossible which makes getting a comp cape impossible. I could go on but this is a good start.
Hi Krejloc, I encourage you to reach out to support@fenresearch.com and explain the difficulties your disability and the difficulties you're experiencing playing the game. It's likely something they just hadn't considered and I bet they would be able to improve the game with your direct feedback and support.
@@kyleanderson4280 Just saw this, I will try it when I get home. The squeaky wheel gets to grease. It would be better if the information came from the creators on release. It might make those with disabilities feel more inclusive. Thanks a Heap.

Great episode Tel's and lots of really exciting info. Thanks for all the spicy leaks Samuel!

This means that nobody will trade, pretty much. Everyone is gonna be an ironman, since nobody will want to lose their precious "status".

Party System not being able to just be you and a buddy killing monsters together is kind of whack.

This was so fun to watch! :D I'm glad that this game has such a passionate dev team 🫂❤️

I don't think it was wise for the Gathering 500 guy to have "SS" on his picture 😅
