I could read comments like these for hours and NEVER get bored!❤ Thank you so much for support. I really appreciate it. Gratitude and wish you all the best!
Welcome back! Isn't it crazy how the Mk-II just keeps being relatively impressive between it and the PGU? I think the PG GP-01/FB is probably the last true 'armor hatch' PG before PGU. All the Strikes, Astrays, 00's and Unicorns have other gimmicks, but not that really luxurious feel of a large representation of a mechanical mobile suit. I thought so long about this kit and translated Dalong's review and he posted a video of the floppy/springy dragoons. He's always so positive and happy, but that one didn't sit right with him lol, so you're in good company. I'm glad I got the MGEX Strike Freedom instead and on the topic of poorly sprayed gold parts, what they do is spray it metallic then transparent yellow on top and my MGEX had similar varieties in color. It's 100% some poor sap who has to hang these and spray them manually, that's why they're so shit and uneven. Yesterday I did the 2005 HG TR1 Hazel Custom and the detail on it is AMAZING compared to so many later HGs, even if the articulation is awful (standard for its time). I'm super impressed though. Today I'm building the MG Amazing Red Warrior which is built on the 2.0 RX-78-2 frame, which I love very much. Great kits, can recommend. Good job on the review, see you in the next one.
Hello my friend! I missed our conversations! Always nice to talk with you about models and stuff. Good to be back! In this price point mistakes like that should never occur. I mean never. Overall innerframe is nice and very detailed but because of gold you can’t feel “mechanical” presence so much as the color is something most of us is not used to in mecha world (or it’s just me). More or less this one is more like a bigger MG with cool details and stuff, a lot of parts etc. I can’t say bad things about it as I love the design so much (but Freedom is superior for me). Only thing is that main features are hidden under armor. In this case if hatches would be presented I would be blown away by this big boy. I can live with simple armor parts but PG for me is all about hatches, details and lights. So for me it is a wasted potential a little. Great model, for Seed fans a must have but still. Wasted potential. Hope they will go crazy some day and we will see PGU of Strike or Freedom. Just imagine that brother. Top. And build was fantastic and lovely experience (to the moment when I stared messing up with spring system) and it’s worth the price but MKII was like a journey to a magical forest. It’s weird and I hope that there will be a model kit that will bring similar experience for me. Optimus Prime from Yolopark is something that I really hope will blown my mind. He is waiting for assembly and review coming very soon (hope end of next week). I’m counting on it very much and hope that the same feeling that was present during fun with MKII will return here. Details are out of this world. And design wise - for me MKII is just perfect. For me it’s the best incarnation of granddaddy, it perfected the original design in every way possible for me and my amount of love for it is endless. But I’m a zeta fanatic so yeah. Anyway I sold my PGU because I needed money for my dog surgery so my experience with it must wait some time but hope it will return to me this year as I can’t wait to check it. Red Frame is still in my backlog so maybe I will do it in May.
@@gundamartz I hope your friend is okay 🙏 it is heart breaking to see a pet and lifetime companion suffer, I know the feeling. I very much look forward to the Optimus Prime review! It's not a franchise I've had much opportunity to ever really get much into (apart from the 80's cartoons), but I know from friends how much they love them and I've always wanted a proper Soundwave. I have no idea what the kit is like, so it'll be a total surprise for me, it's genuinely exciting. As for the rest... Amen! Long live the mak-tu! Bring back chunky Gundams!
@@Smilomaniacyes, now she is great. But it was cancer (tumor above the eye area) so a lot of things to do before the surgery and it was hard, stressful and money consuming process. A lot of medical processes, treatments and finally the surgery. And on the road problems with her joints occurred due the age so me and my wife needed to do a lot of things in short period of time to help her quickly and do the surgery. She is 14, husky but strong as a pack of wolves. My biggest love. Close to me as much as my mom. She helped me a lot in dark times. Funny how animals can do better for you than humans in terms of relation. This is a friendship that takes place once in a lifetime so I consider myself as a very lucky person to experience this journey and I’m very grateful. On the bright side all the vets told us that’s almost impossible for a dog that is at her age to be in so good shape and condition and after surgery she is like new. Now she is totally healthy (only some joints problems but we can’t do much with the uncle time, so we aid her with some pills and exercises). 2h of a walk is no problem for her, she just love life. So hope we have couple bright years to keep the fun and love. Back to topic: I’m considering doing some mecha action figures reviews also from time to time as some of the transformers are really top notch and I really need some in my collection to bring some VHS era memories. They are pricey but I want Primus from 01-Studio so much! Unfortunately in model world only Yolo and Flame Toys delivers from what I know. And yes. All hail the MKII!
@@gundamartz If you get more years out of her then that's amazing and worth it, I'm happy for you! I had a cat that lived 16 years and I had to put her down, deaf, blind and confused at the end, it wasn't fair towards her anymore. Hardest thing I've ever had to do, just unbelievably heart wrenching. You might as well try figure reviews as well, having some overlap is good, you just have to figure out that algo. It all costs in one end or another, time, quality, maybe viewership if it conflicts too much with the main content, so should it be in addition instead of variation... I hope you figure it out!
@@SmilomaniacI feel sorry for your loss. Truly I am. I don’t even want to imagine how devastating decision it must be. But as you said - if it helps then it is the only way sometimes. It’s better than suffering.
He's alive!!! Glad you got this review out. I think SF's backpack is gonna be a stability issue in any grade lol, I haven't seen any in the MGEX though, but I think it varies with whatever copy you get.
Thank you brother! It was intense 4 months for me but now I’m back stronger than ever! I’m assembling MGex in next week and Daban MB so a lot of SF content coming soon with some comparisons between grades etc. Also some cool HGs coming up. I need to reschedule my whole content plan for this year because of absence but on the bright side some really cool stuff coming soon for reviews and content.
@@der76216I must admit that I bought daban MB like 2-3 years ago and abandoned it completely when they announced MGex. Build will be shi*y probably as expected from this brand but I can’t deny how good looking and detailed it is. Some parts even speaks to me more than MGex. But yeah. It will be a mess and horror in terms of build unfortunately. So it will be fun to compare them.
Thank you so much for good words my friend! Glad you like my work, really. MGEX is coming to my channel soon with comparison with PG so maybe this will help you decide :) both I think are great in own terms.
Thank you my friend. I love SF design. Really hope that Destiny will get some new updated kits, MGex maybe or MG 2.0 or … PG🥹. They will milk Seed kits thanks to movie so there is a big chance for some cool new/updated kits. But for now I will probably order Daban MB Destiny.
Plays with wings like my 3yo would ..."Wings are loose" What you see as a fault, I see as a perk. Those loose joints snug up perfectly when you paint the kit. If they were too tight to begin with you'd have to sand down the joints prior to painting.
I respect your opinion and you are right, but the weight issue is a fact here. Keep in mind that not everyone paints their gunplas/topcoat joints so it's fair to share any problems you find after oob build in a review of oob product :) especially in this price range.
@@gundamartz for sure. I was leaning into you calling it a perfect blank canvas for those who like to customize. Maybe that was their intent. The hi nu ver ka is similar in that regard. Great video nonetheless. I'll be bumping it up the backlog build list.
PGU of SF would be truly awesome. But also Destiny deserves at least updated MG. 1/60 of it would be instant buy. Also my dream is Katoki version of some Seed kits :)
Oh yeah! Size here is the main selling factor I think. I like that it has strong presence thanks to that. But I also wish for updated PG/PGU. Definitely this kit deserves update.

Best PG Strike Freedom review and presentation I've seen in years. Those action poses are sick! Excellent work man👍
