  • A look at the Churnet Valley Railway between Uttoxeter, Leek and Macclesfield. Taking in the villages of Rocester, Denstone, Alton, Oakamoor, Kingsley, Froghall, Consall, Cheddleton, Leek Brook, Rudyard, Rushton Spencer, Bosley and North Rode.
As well as a look at some recent developments along the line including potential reopenings and a tragic story involving a mill at Bosley Mill. I hope you enjoy this video and that all old photos used to go to their respective owners. Enjoy...

Apologies for some of the jump cuts at the end. I literally finished at North Rode on day of visiting Uttoxeter and Leek. But only filmed Macclesfield when coming back from a roller comp in Flint. So the Macclesfield footage was a last minute addition as I was passing that way and wanted to finish it from Uttoxeter to Macclesfield. So the Bosley and North Rode ones were subject to quick cuts but please do enjoy these as the Macclesfield one is quite interesting.
