This series is nothing short of incredible. I’ve been waiting since i picked up the book in 91 to see it brought to life. Thanks you Darth for all of your efforts. We really need to get the big Star Wars channels to bring attention to your phenomenal work. Your unprecedented efforts deserve no less!
Something that really clicked for me in this episode was the sound effects, specifically the background noise and little tech sounds. That level of ambience just doesn't exist in modern star wars products and brings so much more depth to the world and helps hammer in the feeling of star wars. Top notch.

Thank you for these! Though it doesn't seem like it now, the Zahn trilogy went a long way in reviving interest in Star Wars and kickstarting the EU. I consider these stories canon and disregard whatever Disney did.
With every new episode released we need to go back and watch a couple of the previous ones keep everything fresh in mind. The more times we watch these more likely RUclips will recommend it to other Star wars fans.
This series is amazing. I believe they are going to implement many parts of this in the upcoming series Mandalrian and Ashoka series. John Favro loves Star Wars.
These chapters may be short and space far apart, but each one is an enjoyable treat of craftmanship & dedication. Look forward to seeing more of the various intrigue & the confrontations between these characters in this format.
The chapters are surprisingly short in the books, so there's only so much material in each one to work with. I am glad you're enjoying them so much though! :D

After having read the books in German a bunch of times back in the nineties, having read the comics a few years ago and discovering your channel (through I think Eckhartsladder) when you were in like Chapter 8 or something, I recently started to read the original English version of the book trilogy. It feels so uncanny now seeing this when I read that chapter just a week ago. You’re doing amazing work!
hard to argue against that, even comparing with the original un-mastered trilogy. but still, if Zahn added a few Ewoks it would have been way wizard. "I've got a bag full of trouble" "star cruiser, crash"
Darth Angelus, your work on this is amazing. This is real Star Wars. I almost teared up at the Luke and Leia scene. The last three films did not do my childhood heroes any justice, but you have NAILED the Star Wars lore. Thank you so much for this and please keep it up :)
Just like all the other episodes this is so wonderfully done with the passion of someone who loves the story. Keep up the the good work because I can’t get enough of it.
Marc Thompson I think does the best Lando voice (outside of Billy Dee of course, but I actually like Mr Thompson better as Lando than Mr Williams himself in the Dark Empire audio cassette dramatizations. It's so weird, but he sounded nothing like he did in the movies in those)
very great work man! I love how you so accurate to the books, that even Nomad-City looks like as its desrcibed, with the AT-AT-s and Dreadnaught on top of it. Even better as it is portrayed in the comics! If you let me one small detail: sometimes the fingers works strange, but its barely visible.
This deserves so much more praise. I would love to see other books done like this. The Vong, Jason Solo, Abeloth, The Old Republic Era. Even if it were done as a comic or motion comic.
As so many others have said it before me: I have waited 30 years for this, and finally you have made it. I just hope you avoid too much attention on the 'big pages' that would make the big mouse step in and shut you down. They should be giving you their SW licence, with what they tried to sell as Star Wars these past years. Let my fears be baseless and may the Force be with you, so you can continue doing what you doing - it is amazing to see it come to life after so many years imagining it. It is fulfilling for many many of us old school SW & SW EU fans. Thank you!
I remember reading the next page of this section of the book and my mouth drop down when Admiral Thrawn saw through our heroes deception by analyzing the two ship direction.
Yeah, the time taken to link the ships Now imagine the higher deception level of “maybe they’ve left probes watching for something like this, so let’s link but not actually change anything”

I swear I enjoy each of these 7-8 minute episodes more than two hours of Disney canon. It's like a postcard from old friends who are far away.
