Well my friends, I do believe that we will be receiving a “new” Sequel trilogy through the efforts of the Mandoverse, especially with Grand Admiral Thrawn potentially being the lynchpin of the Disney+ shows, including the Book of Boba Fett and Ahsoka. We might end up with a big screen culmination with Lars Mikkelson making his live action Thrawn have a Thrawn Trilogy like atmosphere in that era. Of course that’s a fool’s hope, but hope nonetheless. We shall see what comes out of it. C’mon Favreau and Filoni, this is our most desperate hour, DON’T SCREW IT UP!! “Save the [franchise]! Save the dream!!”
Angelus, you're the flipping best for sharing your passion for the SW Universe with all us fans. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Thank you for all the hard work you've put in making these videos. MTFBWY!
I do like his voice. He is much closer to his appearance in Star Wars: Rebels while also holding true to the sinister, tactically-minded persona of his original Thrawn trilogy appearance.
We have yet to see him get angry...I won't spoil it, but there is a point coming up in the next few chapters where he *does* get angry...like Darth Vader "You dun f***ed up Admiral Ozzel" angry...
@@richardjohansen5371 did he sound angry in that part, though (I’m assuming you’re talking about the “error vs mistake” scene)? Out of all of the books he’s in, the only times I can think of where he loses his temper are when he’s using theatrics as a manipulation tactic and in Outbound Flight when he snaps at Maris Ferasi.
Normally, I am a completely serene during any scene that has Admiral Thrawn; but I can't stay still in my chair because I'm too hyped about that TIE-Defender in the background!!! Darth Anglus, your attention to detail never ceases to amaze me. Thank you!
Man, Pellaeon was truly an admirable guy, both as a person and as an important figure in a tyranical government like the Empire. Glad both Filoni and Zahn rescued him in the New Canon, even in a pretty small role
For now he has a small role in Canon. Eventually with Thrawn coming to the small screen (and MAYBE the big screen depending on different factors and execution), we might see a Thrawn trilogy event on the horizon soon enough. Albeit without Ruhk giving him a “so artistically done” death in retribution
Please don’t stop making this. I know you’re still in the first book but I’m loving it all! I always thought voice acting myself was something that would be fun. When reading books when I’m alone I would read them out loud to myself because it’s something I enjoy doing to this day even as a 32 year old.
Thank you for keeping the true story of "Star Wars" alive. I waited in anticipation for each hardcover volume to be released back then as much as I wait for each chapter that you make.
I look forward to every episode you put out and have never once been disappointed. On the contrary, I've just been more impressed and happier seeing my favorite book in the trilogy remade so lovingly. Thank you
If this continues to be as good as it is, I really can't wait to see the next chapter. I would also love to see this combined as a full-length movie, and hopefully, we get to see animated versions of Dark Force Rising and The Last Command to complete the trilogy.
This is why Thrawn is my favorite character, he's given very little information and relies on his intellect, he's the equivalent of a ocean of logic swallowing up a human, no matter how strong that human is, they'll still die being engulfed by the overwhelming, apathetic and cruel ocean that is Thrawn,
Best as always! I was fascinating how the simpler face expressions can be modelled in an effective way. Dialog of Han and Lando shows good example for that. Thank you!

I remember I reacted this Chapter when I was reading this book in 2013 as Turkish And my reaction was like this "Oh my, Thrawn is really a smart man" That's how I understood Grand Admiral Thrawn's mind for the first time
Legends Thrawn in action is always a sight to behold. Glad that parts of it remained in Canon too, although he had to be changed somewhat to fit in Rebels
The most impressive thing about Thrawn's deduction was not that he figured out what the protagonists were doing, but how quick and effortless he managed to do it. In an alternate timeline I could see Thrawn as the _Star Wars_ galaxy's greatest private detective; galivanting around with Pallaeon and Vanto as his Watsons as he goes Ol'Sherlock on everyone.
I am so excited and happy that I stumbled upon your channel awhile ago. This is my absolute favorite SW trilogy and the fact that you're bringing it to life for all of us fans means so much! Enjoyed chapter 15 but looking forward to 16! :)
Nice! Man imagine Matt Finish doing a one many Star Wars show. He comes up on stage and throws on different masks as he changes character. I loved hearing him "talk to himself" here. This whole thing was great but I was really taken by that organ music right at the end. It was a bit unnerving!
Chapters 16 and onwards is going to be the most agonizing wait between chapters. Every time I read the book, I have trouble putting it down for that half, waiting for weeks at a time in between episodes will be grueling!
DarthAngelus, continue the good work =) I have 3 things to point out: 1 - The starfield is static while Lando and Solo are conversating, but the Falcon is moving 2 - The Chimaera was first presented by you, and correctly, in the 1 EP as an ISD II, however, in this EP you chose to switch to the canon version and present it as an ISD I with the stylized chimaera engraved in the hull, In my modest POV you should've stick with legend's version 3 - In the Chimaera's hangar i believe I saw a TIE Defender, again, in legends, Thrawn doesn't had access to this advanced fighter at that point in the timeline. He had very limited resources to work with May the Force be with you
Excellent! I'm just sorry its a month between chapters! Oh well, I guess the circle is now complete-Lucas got the episode saga idea from the old 30s and 40s adventure serials, and you are now releasing the chapters in that format!
I say it on every video, the quality in the set design and characters gets better every episode. Can't wait until it's done and we get a supercut movie!
Ah, but he was incorrect in his assumptions. He presumed Lando would not leave his ship run by a droid. That's blatantly wrong given he slave rigs his ships regularly. He got the right conclusion, but that faulty premise could have hurt him badly. So he's good, but he's also lucky.
Good use of music here, great improvement of models with little break up and voice acting terrific! One constructive comment, I like the perspective of Han speaking to Lando but maybe some very slow star panning in the background to give the impression of movement out the window would add to the ambience of flying in space. Overall great job! My anticipation is building to see the X-Wing encounter ^_^
Great. Good Job. Red these books a couple of times. Wished the had made this books a kind of a serial. But your work is phenomal. Cannot await your net video. Please hurry
Damn no wonder people admire Thrawn so much, he's actually a legit threat with how quickly he figured out their plans.
Everytime Thrawn is on the screen he fucking steals the show, whoever voices him is doing an excellent job.
Except for how they pronounced 'Interdictor'.
@@justinfarnell2284, That's British people for ya. No offense anyone.
@@echosdatacore2056 nah, I'm British and pronounce it as inter-dik-ter

This is the real sequel trilogy as far as I'm concerned.

Excellent. Everything is going as planned.
The voices really MATCH the characters faces.
That's a really great and under-rated point!
Love the Thrawn theme in the backround, when he unravels the (yes) rebels plan.
Glad to have fan adaptations like this during uncertain times
This story came out before the dark times...before the Disney takeover!
A faithful adaptation unlike what we have now.
This is the true sequel trilogy and one of the best SW Legends to exist and This is the Way :)

I don't think we've seen the last of Pellaeon in the new canon. It will be interesting to see who they get to play him.
Another excellently done episode of the true Star Wars sequal trilogy. And whoever is doing Lando's voice is doing a great job.
This is one of my favorite moments in the book. It perfectly shows Thrawn's logic and genius. Amazing job making it come alive in animation.
We're getting so close to Luke and Mara on Myrkr! I'm getting really excited!

I think if Thrawn listened to the transmission then it would have been more believable that he deduced that it was 3PO mimicking Leia's voice.

For some reason, the first time I read the Thrawn Trilogy, I read Karrde in my head as "Card-ay" where the e isn't silent instead of just "Card."
