85 dB efficiency at 4 ohm nominal impedance, this is going to be hard and expensive to drive for anyone who doesn't own or plan to own a low distortion high wattage class D amplifier.
Mine are 83 bB/4 ohm and an Atoll AM400 has total control with plenty of headroom. I believe a stable amp with good power supply with around 200w/4 ohm should be adequate. So for your listening comparison you put the Claritys as supposed on their stands, but the Buchhardts were sideways on top of another speaker without any isolation? This is a detrimental no go for the results.
@goodsound4756 👌 The Bucharest does not care about the placement, they work great on the side, where you can sit nicely in between the 360 radiating waveguide and woofer. Placement is done in order to be able to ABCD switch as fairly as possible in a non-critical listening session to give the team a chance to disinquish between them, without much movement. There is rubber feet in beween all the speakers to isolate them a bit. For the buchardt results, they are simply a product of pushing the low-end in order to get them linear to 25 Hz in a CLOSED, very small cabinet. It works, but only at very low volume, witch is totally fair :-) I even used the wall filter that takes out bass for the test, where all speakers was against the wall, AND roomcorrected, - that should take care of most of any room boundary issue. The clarity works better in the extremes due to the passive woofers and other things.

Same people when they see these speakers - oh hell now too expensive
Now if they could fix those Buchardt’s
Buchardt is coming out a passive speakers next week to compete with these in the same price range
@JingoLoBa57 Fix? What do you think is wrong?
Fix what?
Look like some parts are taken from Buchart
@kvonne Buchardt also uses a model of the Purifi 6.5" woofer in some of their high performing small speakers.
I thought the buchardts sounded fine.
They do!
What a bargain rolleyes
4k is cheap?
I guess HiFi is only for pilots or doctors then..
Try the The dying song by Slipknot and then tell me if the speakers are good or not.
Does the speaker matter with Slipknot? 🤪
Yeah, 4k isn't cheap!
If its compared to those other speakers, its the chespest in its league.
This IS a game changer. No doubt! Nothing compares to you (I mean it). Next year all other speaker brands cease to exist.
Buchardt will come out with a new speakers next week with the same driver to compete
@@bicster6535 Oh, I didn't know that. Then THIS speaker will be at game changer and all other speaker brands cease to exist. But, will that include Radiant?! I'm confused🤔, because Radiant is also the game changer, hmmm.
On what planet is $4.5k "on the cheap"?
On planet High-end.. Watch the review 😉
But not for opera? Just another silly pop box then
@stefanskytt650 very much for opera... Karsten just dont like opera, and Morten forced him to listen :-)
😅😅😅schon der Chassis Preis für diesen 6.5" Treiber ist ein Witz! 480€. Dafür bekommt man auch einen Richtigen Tieftöner
Price is high, I admit and would like to see it cheaper but compared to all my previous drivers from SB Acoustics, Seas and Scan Speak these Purifi 6.5" are really something else 😊
The accuracy was unknow for me before, not that all other speakers were bad but there was always something small bothering me with some tracks 🤪 from the first note I was surprised, my brain even needed some time to adapt 😅
Was ist denn ein "richtiger" Tieftöner - bzw. wieso sind es die Purifis nicht? Die Purifis sind egal wer sie misst die am besten performensten Treibereinheiten. "Echter" als das gehts kaum oder?
@jcvscorner I think he is relating to the size, missing the point that its all about what is possible in a small package. If you can go bigger, there is no reason for selecting a small speaker in the first place. :-)
lol. $5000 is not cheap.
Skip the "trying to be funny" clips ,you don't have it!
@davidelmquist8670 like what clips?
@@stjernholmreviews please don't stop, it's hilarious ;)!
Buchardt is a cleaner deeper bass. The vocals were lost when you turned the volume down.
Radiant acoustics mmmmm to expensive. I can get Buchardt A10 Aktive for about the same price. The sound test on the bass what a waste of time
@DJMikeron what is your reasoning there? Why?
yeah 4000 euro is not affordable. get some Arendal instead
@Gassten Value has nothing to do with the stack of money. That will always be relative to your wallet. In this case, you have €20.000 speakers that the radiant challenges... Check out a pair of €2.500 DALI Rubikore 2 instead (they are really great!) , and be careful with the Arendals. While they are lovely build quality, but I found them to cause listening fatigue, like due to issues at the crossover point. I found them to be quite nasal sounding and also power demanding (tested the Arendal 1723 Monitor THX). You can find the review on rec.dk.
man skulle tro du arbejder for hi fi klubben .........
Ja!
Lowfi man
