Looks like we are missing the whole point here. The Fiat Avventura is a lifestyle vehicle. It is not meant to be a run-of-the-mill utilitarian vehicle you see daily on the road. It is more of a novelty and in true Italian fashion it tugs at your heart strings. It is meant for people who admire cars and not for people who want to go from point A to B in a mundane boring way. Yes, the Ecosport is an accomplished car/compact SUV but we are comparing apples and oranges here. Yes, its not the best car when it comes to the usual test parameters, but, when you drive a Fiat, the pleasure you derive from it is unparalleled. So, to sum it up you don't buy a LOUIS VUITTON for its ergonomic benefits. You buy it because it makes you feel good. That's exactly what Avventura is for.
Yes, avventura is for people who loves a car,and not just drives it.

I wonder why reviewers do not focus on safety while reviewing cars. Fiat's cars are much more safely built than many other car manufacturers in India, especially those leading ones. The Indian customers only look at the convenience part and not the safety part. The manufacturers who compromise on safety will get more space which can be used for convenience features such as the door storage spaces and the inside space.

well, the Aventura is italian, it's supposed to have some quirks.. that's what adds some character to every Fiat or in general case to every italian car ..
FIAT ride quality is the best, it has got a Hydraulic Steering which is the best. Bought a Punto Evo Diesel 90HP last month. FIAT cars are built like a tank.
I personally believe Fiat Aventura is best car till date,....
Obviously when u compare 2 differenet segments, the one with higher price and segment wins !!

no offense but renuks literally smash avventura review to dust.. come on this is Fiat, you can't just condemn starting from driving position to spare wheel as if there is no positive to this car.

The better car would be for me that to value for money would definitely be the Fiat aventura if you ask me in between the polocross or the etios cross and the aventura !! Both crosses are just the extra body weight matted to the same engine but aventura has lot of modifications to suit the extra weight and if some how we managed to take that wheel on the back off then its a different game !!

neither of these are SUVs. nevertheless, nothing matches FIAT's ride and hadling and tat awesome steeering.. ecosport is no where near to it.

More one sided towards Ford.. Ford ecosport cannot be compared with the Fiat Avventura.. we have to look at the price range.. and if at all you compare these two cars.. The ride quality , stability and safety of ecosport is very low compared to Avventura.. even it may be a Fiat Punto or Fiat Avventura driving this will be like driving a tank..

duster blows away the competition as of now. It is the best when comes to long drives.
I like koleos. But its very expensive, But I really like the way it looks. . Duster has good engine. but I feel it's priced more. but yes, it rides well. But the doors won't close with that thud sound. it's evident that it uses thin foil (metal).That's why it gives more mileage, as it's not heavily built....but duster seats are like car seats...they are not high..but can we compare duster with avventura...not at all...they are two different segments...one at 9 lacs and the other at 13 lacs....with avventura u can even go on the rough and uneven roads with ease with that ground clearance on the avventura, and it looks aggressive as well. But we can't compare avventura and duster
Y do u guys even bring duster into this... That is a different segment its a Compact SUV....we are talking about Compact Cross-overs here

Better to compare Aventura to the polo cross and the etios cross!! With the Ecosport there is no match !!then again the best review ma'am !!

Why are the petrol cars not campared?? Why only the diesel engines??
because petrol won't have sales number...these people are only paid to review diesel to make sure the avventura won't do any dent to the ecosport diesel numbers..the same lady have rated fiat linea a best handler over the new ford fiesta few years ago, citing the reason that steering is great for fiat...can't understand how ecosport will handle better than fiesta as it sits much taller....agreed fact is that ecosport is not like other fords due to its taller stance....they just did it for a sandwich.....so shame
Ravi Chandra With Petrol models there is infact no comparison, Fiat 1.4 Fire is no way good, its lethargic and a generation old. Ecoboost engine is far ahead in terms of mileage and technology. Had Fiat introduced in the T-jet in Avventura, then it would have been a different case, but I guess T jet mileage is too less to be accepted by the customers.
Jereen Mathew I mean it's 207 nm of torque (t-jet) vs 170 nm of torque(ecosport).....and the t-jet's torque is all poured down at just over 2000rpm vs the ecosport's spread torque till 4500 rpm.....it's acceptable mileage for that pure level of thrilling performance we are getting in the fiat t-jet..i also wish that fiat will launch this t-jet in avventura

I am a Fiat Urban Cross owner and i want to say that NEVER BUY A FIAT OT JEEP IN INDIA.
Fiat never bothers about updating its models and fleet of cars . It just provides you with old car with new names.
Negatives-
Engines performance outdated.
Gearbox is the worst.
No space as compared to new cars.
Bad service.
Finally ZERO SAFETY STARS. because its 20 years old model.
Fiat and Jeep both are here to just fool the customers.
And yes if you talk about safety and build quality, you always have FORD, VOLKSWAGEN, TATA , HONDA

none of them look like SUV. only duster looks like a compact SUV. better buy sparingly used duster than brand new of these two cars. btw fiat look ugly
Koleos look better than duster..better to buy a sparingly used Koleos than buying a brand new duster....but koleos is at 30 lacs, duster is at 14 lacs and avventura at 9 lacs....koleos is premium real suv, duster is a cheap suv to fulfill Indian and Brazilian people, avventura is not at all a SUV....but just something which can handle additional responsibilities.....however, terrano looks better than duster, but the downside is the engine is too small for that car with those dimensions..
well it would be unjust to compare 30 lacs koleos with 14 lacs duster. Looks are subjective but I personally find duster better looking than terrano. specially the back. fiat crossover with that rear wheel is just to give suv look but it does not suit it. Duster actually drives like an SUV while ecosport drives like front wheel hatch. Personally, i would pick up a used honda civic with low miles and smoke all these cars on highway ..hehe

Ecosport is the best in its segment fiat ugly low quality sick sucking build quality. And just like a punto remake fiat are just gone to left go away fiat fan boys

Avventura is a low quality crossover with parts hastily thrown together just to catch the SUV bandwagon. Fiat needs a serious rethink and a redesign of this car
Low quality means?? Pls explain....Good for nothing swollen plastic type body of eco sport or the tough avventura....which is low quality??
