What I can't understand for the life of me is why when people make these review for home equipment 9x out of 10 the people viewing these videos would like to hear the noise level/functioning of the equipment. 🙄
You don't understand why we want to know , or why nobody shows it? I'm in an apartment and the only reason I don't use my treadmill is because it's noisy..
I get the apartment living constraints. This doesn't have a motor so you won't have to worry about that kind of noise. But it does make some noise. If you are living on the ground floor you won't have any issues but if you have people underneath you, they will likely know that you are exercising. It's not loud like a treadmill will be, but if you extend you legs all the way to the bottom there will be a thud sound. You can avoid this by not extending all the way through the stride but it's likely that at some point you will likely get a thud. Have a great day. Happy Holidays and stay safe!
If you can go 5 minutes you are doing great. It's a tough workout! Keep up the great work! I don't have any great insight other than to stick with it. Consistency is key to fitness. Have a great day.
Thank you, Run Tall With Tim for this review. How would you rank the Relife Vertical Climber, an elliptical machine like the Schwinn 411 Elliptical, and a rower like the Concept 2 Rower in order of best to worst for overall total body workout and / or cardio?
Great question. I don't own the exact brands you mentioned but I've used all of those types of workout equipment at my gym. The Vertical Climber definitely makes you work harder than the others you mention. I can only go 20 minutes max on the Climber but I can go much longer on the others so I feel like I get a great workout in a short period of time. Have a great day and stay safe.
@@RunTall Thank you very much, I am glad that you have tried each of those types of equipment, I was hoping to get someone's opinion who had tried all of those types of equipment, so I am glad that I asked you. 👍
@@goodjohnjrLook at Rogue / Assault / Airdyne bikes. Non impact, full body, torches calories and a terrific full body workout. Schwinn Airdyne AD2 is probably the cheapest model worth buying.
Hi Tim, I just bought this climber on offer up. The right side doesn't seem to go up and down easy, unlike the left. Is that where getting some grease comes in? And where do I put the grease?
I just bought this off Facebook marketplace. I used wd40 to clean it up/grease it…should I use something else? Only reason I ask is because I don’t feel like I can go super fast as the motion isnt smooth enough. good workout overall though…and i know….you get what you paid for ($100) so im not expecting commercial gym quality
Hi Terry. This is definitely a solid workout. I can't go that long before getting really tired. It seems so simple but it's a really tough cardio workout to complete. It is a solid option if you are looking to add something new to your home gym that will help to get fit. While I can't say that you'll lose body fat, I can say that will help with the exercise piece of that puzzle. Have a great day. Thanks for watching.
What an amazing piece of gear! Looks like it's a full body, core building wonder machine! I'd love to know how it's changed your running abilities over time! Great job Tim!
Very good Video. I work on wind Turbines. It's is amazingly similar in motion. No where near as difficult as climbing 30 pounds of gear 300 feet straight up a ladder, but spend enough time on it and it really helps keep me in shape. It is also so easy to throw in the back of a pickup and travel to the next state or town.
This guy never fails to amaze us
Thanks so much. I appreciate it. Have a great.
This is a great machine for frozen shoulder. Start at the lowest setting and shorter time, then slowly work up!
Hey thanks for sharing your experience with this climber. It's a tough workout for sure! Great for cardio. Have a great day.

Thank you for this review! I was thinking of buying this
Cool. I'm glad you liked it. Have a great day.
You make it look so easy! I have this machine, but I am so out of shape. I can barely last 5 minutes continuously on it! Any tips for newbies??? 😅😵😮💨

@@RunTall do you know if there's anyway to increase/decrease intensity on this machine? Or is there only one
Only one, your weight afaik@@Cannoli.
Great video as always... good job
Thank you Gretta. I appreciate you watching. Have a great.

As a runner, do you like to train in the same movement pattern as walking / jogging (GAIT or contra - lateral) what do you prefer?
I have the same machine problem it doesn't go up and down like yours it's more rough.
On know. Are you still having the issue? I hope it's working better for you now.
Hi Tim, I just bought this climber on offer up. The right side doesn't seem to go up and down easy, unlike the left. Is that where getting some grease comes in? And where do I put the grease?
Grease should take care of that. I grease the side rails themselves and that seems to work well for me. Enjoy your new Climber!!!

White lithium grease on the rails, keeps it smooth
how often do you grease yours's? and did you grease it out the box?
I did grease mine right away. I grease it a lot, every other workout. It doesn’t take much and it’s quick to do. Have a great day and stay safe.

Is it safe for bad knees?
It's low impact so it is definitely easier on your knees than running. Have a great day.

Has it held up over this time?
Have you used anything better since you made this video?
Where do I get the grease
You can find it on Amazon. They carry it at my local hardware store as well. Have a great day and enjoy it. Good Climbing!
@@RunTall where's your store
Any white lithium grease will work
Not enough cons for a real review. No such thing as a at home piece of equipment with only 2 minor cons.
What is the weight limit?
Hi David. The weight capacity is 260LBS (118kg). I hope this helps. have a great day and thanks so much for watching.
I paid $50.00

Does it help build the core and back muscles ? Been looking to work on this due to back pain, and avoid lifting heavy weights.
