I just looked at their website and their updated model says its better build and has stronger resistance putting it much more in line with its competition in terms of pricing. And I just noticed this channel also has a video on the updated version. lol
Correct, unfortunately, the resistance applied doesn't amount to much - there are many examples of their belt stripping and failing due to resistance being applied.
@@eclecticgentleman no, not at all...$2500; I believe I was among the first groups to get one delivered (oct last year). And while the price for the first edition has come down considerably, I dont regret my purchase.
The climber two seems to address the complaint that there was very little resistance. Wondering if anyone here has the claim or two, and if they could comment on how good their resistance is, I would like something that challenges me from my strength and resistant standpoint, and not just a stamina standpoint.
unfortunately, they are closing doors after 3 years. If you want clean, hyper smooth resistance up to 500 lbs of force, the SM-M or TS-M versaclimber is the answer - built in USA and durable and trusted since 1981.
I live in the LA area, and going to the gyms around here truly blows. Crowded would be an understatement. I paid $200 for my Climbr 02 on OfferUp, I scored on this machine. It's very well worth it.
Just got email for the new Clmbr 02. They have it at 2795 and you can get 500 off if you order before October 31. First time orders only. I would fit in that category.
Amen to everything you said… my biggest frustration is no Apple Health integration. Every other piece of connected fitness has it

How does maintenance work?
Saw the price drop too. Wish they updated it and with better resistance.

This is a great machine and an excellent workout. I'm addicted to mine.
If it's not to personal what did you pay for yours?

@@1TrackDaddy hey did you have any problems with your resistance belt on your machine?
@@fitwittee8129 no I havent
@fitwittee8129 no problems I occasionally use silicone on belts and grooves
Also, what model is this?
this is the only model out that I am aware of
@@ConnectTheWatts thanks. And great review.
A new model will be announced any minute. Do not buy until that one comes out.
@@josuearevalo1694 I was thinking the same. 1k off and this sudden push to get rid of them tells me there is something right behind.
Neat 👍
I like how everyone states, theirs work as if to disregard your complaints that the machine is not working correctly..So disappointed not happy
its sad but true.
So the answer is "NO", it is not worth it.....Gotcha....
but I do know a vertical cardio piece that has with stood the test of time and remains built in usa...

@@1versaclimber1didn’t know that. I heard bad things about their climbers. I think Versaclimber is better to be honest
If you can do crawls I would opt for those.
39 a month you can have a gym membership

As for durability how long have you used it?
~1 month... will try to do another update in 6-12 months
15-20 years of durability and repeat workouts on a VersaClimber, built to last.
I have a brand new one if anyone wants it for 1k. I’m in Texas and moving soon. I’ll buy it again later. Please share thanks!
Where are you in Texas?
Climber 02 just got announced for pre order! Looking at the upgrades and size. Wow. You guys were right. They were gonna push out a newer model.
Where do you see pre order? Went to the site and don’t see it

@@JF-ky1yo yeah. Could not find it but CLMBR posted about an 02 in one of their comments just now. Asking for link so I can share.
@@JF-ky1yo ok. They responded on a release date. They said September 1st I should be getting an email with special code.
