How much will it cost to replace that fancy screen once it breaks out of warranty? We all know it won't last forever and will break eventually. Their ridiculously short one year warranty won't cover that fancy screen when it breaks five years from purchase.
@@ggtaruc2578 Because any fancy electronics won't last forever. The tablet on my Versaclimber TS is rated for four years and will cost me $250 to replace. The TS is a commercial unit with only one user in my home so I hope my tablet will last longer than four years. But no fancy electronics lasts forever.

Oh no. That sucks. I have no idea if they moved the assembly instructions to a different platform. The only good thing is that the unit is not that difficult to assemble yourself.

I do like the oversized knob, how many pounds of force do you think it applied during max resistance? VersaClimber offers full range of resistance up 500 lbs. of force. For those who want versatile strength training too.
@@StevieRichardsFitnesshonestly my home model has held up well. I have used the commercial model in a gym it’s killer. I have the home model and any issues I had they addressed it. It has held up well and I beat the hell out of it.
Stevie I have the CLMBR , what your take on the CLMBR 2 ? I heard the made the resistance a lot harder , don’t know if the they needed to do that. Did u order the 2 ?
Hey Kenton, It’s a slight head scratcher why they released a 2nd generation. The 1st gen CLMBR seems to be solid to me. I plan on asking the company some pre-sales questions and possibly get the CLMBR 2 for review. Stay tuned.
Hey Stevie, thank you for all of this helpful information. My husband and I have a few questions about the G-6. Is there any way we can ask you about it?
Am I able to see metrics in offline mode without using outlet power? Does it have any type of batter option? Also, is resistance changeable only if climbs is plugged into outlet and powered on?
Hey the light on the back of my machine is blinking red by the power button and the screen will not function does anyone know why this could be? Thank you
Does the distance between the foot pedals seem wide, or is it narrow (more "natural"). When we run our feet get exceptionally close to each other, and the machines with a wide stance seem to bother me. Any idea what the distance between the center of the 2 pedals is? That distance is called the Q distance. Thanks.
Great question. I just measured the distance and it’s 5 1/4 inches from the inside edges of the pedals. I’m the same way with wider stance machines. They bother my hips and the outside of my knees. The CLMBR doesn’t give me that discomfort and the vertical nature of the machine keeps my back straight as well. I’m planning an updated review soon and will include the spacing information and any other answers to related questions. If you do decide to purchase the CLMBR, please use my link and code: bit.ly/3sIYCWO and enter code STEVIE
@@StevieRichardsFitness So then if you stand with both feet on the machine, and both feet are next to each other, what do you think the distance between the middle of both feet is?
I’m not at the garage gym right now, but I would estimate another 1/2 inch or so. My knees and hips are nicely aligned and I don’t feel like there’s any flaring or misalignment.
I bought a Versaclimber TS instead. They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. The Versaclimber has been around since the early 80s so I wanted the gold standard.
@@OntarioGuy430 The Versaclimber TS is gorgeous and built like a tank. I use it about 4-5 days a week and it seriously improved my cardio. My resting heart rate when I started a year ago was around 85 beats per minute. Now I'm at around 60 bpm and I'm aiming for around 50 bpm. I feel like a serial killer from a horror movie since I don't get winded easily and feel I can go forever. It feels great to be in shape. Whatever machine you buy, you must use it or else you just bought a glorified clothes hanger.
@@vandrosia Thanks for the reply - I have had quite a few expensive coat hangers over the years. This looks like it might be the type of exercise movement to get me going. @@OntarioGuy430 Yikes, $8,000 is an expensive piece of kit! Look up Cascade climber. I researched it before I bought my TS. I chose the TS because of Versaclimber's reputation and the TS color monitor is so much nicer. The Cascade's monitor looks like it came from the 80s. But if you can live with it, the Cascade climber may be an option.
One of the reasons I got it was the ability to use it offline. It works like a standard piece of cardio equipment with all the metrics. Unfortunately, you cannot Airplay, chromecast or connect outside media devices. That stinks because I’d do that instead. I have used the Versaclimber in the past. The CLMBR is what I prefer, but that’s just my opinion. If you do decide to get the CLMBR, please use my link and code: bit.ly/3sIYCWO and enter code STEVIE
why does this thing have terrible reviews? I can't decide between this or the versaclimber lx. I can get the LX for around 3-3.5k and that will be the cost of this thing with the membership (which i hear this is useless without it) after 3ish years
Great points. This product is still pretty new in the space and only time will tell if it will hold up to intense workouts. I did choose it because of the choice between classes and doing my own thing. Like I said in my review video, I wish there was a way to utilize the screen more for watching RUclips and other media apps. Unfortunately, most of these connected products have a model that forces a membership for any hope of using the matching. The CLMBR, at least, allows me to workout without being locked out of the machine like the Tonal. The Versaclimber is the standard bearer when it comes to vertical climbers and I don’t think you can go wrong with it. However, compare the warranties between both, just as a last research step before you invest that kind of money.
That would be a question better answered by their tech support, but I’m assuming that all these products are tested within a temperature range. I have used the CLMBR during the hottest months in Florida in a non climate controlled garage. No problems at all.
