Comparing 1.5 iVtec with 1.5 Turbos is unfair, not to mention the cvt with sedate and relaxed driving. Real performance comparison would be manual 1.5 iVtec vs 1.0 TSI MT, to be fair to City as TC trumps CVT in quick shifts.

I have recently test driven all these 3 cars with all type of available engine options. I liked the City ( when I started to select a car for me , it was not even in my consideration), booked it Now about the infotainment - City is a class with the low TFT screen Dashboard feels 200 times better than other two cars In Virtus - fittings are just like from local car store , for me it’s not a cost cutting , it’s simply a very bad assembled car. Yes driving experience it’s phenomenal, that’s the first first and last good thing about the car, and it looks cool from outside , but it’s not a family car , as 1.5 TSI can’t be a family car, with your parents back at the seat Verna - infotainment I didn’t like , but interior is good , but the looks it’s too much to digest , it’s simply reminds me and makes me feel nostalgic of the last generation chrome grill
4th generation city is way better than 5th generation they degraded safety and its no more a good safe family car .. No matter what but end of the day safety will matter every second. By the way if you are saying that the virtus interior is fitted from a local store then i think you don't have an idea about the car .. Kids just leave it and play 😂

Then apart from TPMS, all the modern day safety features like ABS with EBD, traction control, hill hold assist, Isofix child seat mount, rear parking sensor and camera, vehicle stability assist, agile handling assist, emergency stop signal, day/night IRVM, Vehicle Immobiliser are standard across all the variants. So the 5th gen City seems to be a fair upgrade in terms of safety when compared to 4th gen. Coming to the Virtus interiors, it may not be as bad as he stated but the interiors are definitely not upto VW standard. Lot of Virtus and Taigun owners are complaining about rattling issues. Just go and search for a Polo or Vento in your locality, you will be amazed by the cabin quality. Those cars had self healing plastics on dashboard and doors. The interior quality and fit finish on those cars can make any modern day car under 30 lakhs feel like a cheap toy.

I agree bro.. the Verna has more features but the problem for me in my opinion is 1. I am not a big fan of the looks which is ironic because the new i20 looks nice (I believe the look of the Verna would suit better on a hatchback than a sedan) and 2. The suspension could have been a little stiffer for the power it has (nothing a suspension tune can't fix). I also am not a fan of Hyundai steerings... I just like 3 spokes.. it feels complete that way..( just a personal opinion)
Virtus 1.0 is very fuel efficient and more fun to drive..its adequately powerful..and indias safest car right now..under 15 lakh its the best sedan..gt is not for boring old guys

Great video as always guys. The Verna is the most bang for buck and has everything you’d ever want in a sedan in this segment. The suspension is on the softer side, yes but how else will they make room for the N-Line?
Really I enjoyed this review . So far I have seen so many reviews on these sedan segment .. you guys as reviewer good . Particularly Dhruv .. managed excellent .. though I vote for City - Best Wishes Guys .
If your premium car is letting in road noise inside the cabin then you were tricked into buying a low quality product at a higher price. Sedans are not sport cars, they are primarily meant to provide more comfort and luxury than a similarly priced SUVs. They should ideally have a NA engine. Even the base varient should be loaded with feel good features (audio system can be retro fitted). I was never a Verna fan, but honestly Hyundai actually puts in a lot of efforts for Indian customers, they offer so many products. I feel Honda takes us for granted, no enthusiasm despite being a global brand for budget cars and being the oldest brand in India they have just 2 models today in offer. Elevate feels like a compulsion for them.
I have certain points that has changed my decision among all these 3 sedans. Overall all the three sedans are pretty good and has all the necessary features, comfort, driving experience etc that any normal user would need. The major dealbreaker for me for not choosing City is the Ground clearance The major dealbreakers for me to eliminate Verna are it’s front looks (tube light), build quality and Hyundai’s salesmen response (very bad experience) Hence I picked Virtus, which has everything that is needed with better looks, VW branding, best in class driving experience, 5star safety, reliable engine, High ground clearance which is very much needed for Indian roads. Hope this can help someone make better decision. Don’t fall for gimmicky features like Sunroof, etc. rather choose engine, drive quality and transmission (The only regret I have is that I’ve chosen Manual instead of Automatic to save 1.5L)
Honda City,s track record and owner,s review for not four five months but 25 years and not only India but world wide.Talk about automatic the CVT version is best and tested more than 15 years world wide and comfort,low service cost.brand trust and now ADAS and six airbags and decent fuel efficency whether City or highway driving and dont forget for Indian market,s preference for resale value both verna and VW and even skoda will be far far behind than Honda City any given day.❤

@@Mr.NobodyYT6 most of us middle class indians buy car not for sporty performance or highfy features like cruise control and many others for most of us safety ,reliablity,comfort for all passengers not alone driver alone and fuel efficiency ,low maintenance cost and easy to drive and dont forget resale value and look and feel of car is deciding factors .These all things and we keep same one car for atleast 7 to 10 years .We normally dont buy different cars for different type use like USA ,Europe or many developed middle east contries.I agree your point on music system ,ground clearance ,or that aggressive kick of performance of turbo engine is missing in city but CVT or normal ivtech engine of honda gives decent and consistent performance and excleration too with small time lag to maintain fuel efficency and driving comfort.In Honda Amaze and HondaCity ,company should work on better tyre and good quality infotainment system of good size and seat height and cushoning as well as ventilated seat option will certainly add value for their cars and sales number will also increase.Focus on hybrid and CNG or Electric option can really made them a formidable and non ignorable brand in India.🙏

Virtus doesn't qualify as it does not hsve ADAS. Verna and city are a toss up. Verna gives you more with top.variant if you pay 15% more than city top variant. But if want reliability and best possible feature combo then city top variant wins

If your premium car is letting in road noise inside the cabin then you were tricked into buying a low quality product at a higher price. Sedans are not sport cars, they are primarily meant to provide more comfort and luxury than a similarly priced SUVs. They should ideally have a NA engine. Even the base varient should be loaded with feel good features (audio system can be retro fitted). I was never a Verna fan, but honestly Hyundai actually puts in a lot of efforts for Indian customers, they offer so many products. I feel Honda takes us for granted, no enthusiasm despite being a global brand for budget cars and being the oldest brand in India they have just 2 models today in offer. Elevate feels like a compulsion for them.

Design, Safety, Comfort, Reliability, Performance.
I have certain points that has changed my decision among all these 3 sedans.
Overall all the three sedans are pretty good and has all the necessary features, comfort, driving experience etc that any normal user would need.
The major dealbreaker for me for not choosing City is the Ground clearance
The major dealbreakers for me to eliminate Verna are it’s front looks (tube light), build quality and Hyundai’s salesmen response (very bad experience)
Hence I picked Virtus, which has everything that is needed with better looks, VW branding, best in class driving experience, 5star safety, reliable engine, High ground clearance which is very much needed for Indian roads.
Hope this can help someone make better decision.
Don’t fall for gimmicky features like Sunroof, etc. rather choose engine, drive quality and transmission (The only regret I have is that I’ve chosen Manual instead of Automatic to save 1.5L)

Honda City,s track record and owner,s review for not four five months but 25 years and not only India but world wide.Talk about automatic the CVT version is best and tested more than 15 years world wide and comfort,low service cost.brand trust and now ADAS and six airbags and decent fuel efficency whether City or highway driving and dont forget for Indian market,s preference for resale value both verna and VW and even skoda will be far far behind than Honda City any given day.❤
Just bcoz it's reliable doens't mean others are tooo. Actually virtus and verna are also easily reliable and city lacks a lot of features and even infotainment is trash. That city is bad lacks performance lacks features. It has nothing up it's sleeve
@@Mr.NobodyYT6 most of us middle class indians buy car not for sporty performance or highfy features like cruise control and many others for most of us safety ,reliablity,comfort for all passengers not alone driver alone and fuel efficiency ,low maintenance cost and easy to drive and dont forget resale value and look and feel of car is deciding factors .These all things and we keep same one car for atleast 7 to 10 years .We normally dont buy different cars for different type use like USA ,Europe or many developed middle east contries.I agree your point on music system ,ground clearance ,or that aggressive kick of performance of turbo engine is missing in city but CVT or normal ivtech engine of honda gives decent and consistent performance and excleration too with small time lag to maintain fuel efficency and driving comfort.In Honda Amaze and HondaCity ,company should work on better tyre and good quality infotainment system of good size and seat height and cushoning as well as ventilated seat option will certainly add value for their cars and sales number will also increase.Focus on hybrid and CNG or Electric option can really made them a formidable and non ignorable brand in India.🙏

Sedan is for driving enthusiasts and people who priorities are driving pleasure which clearly lacks in city. That's y it's fallen badly after virtus and verna came in .

Virtus doesn't qualify as it does not hsve ADAS. Verna and city are a toss up. Verna gives you more with top.variant if you pay 15% more than city top variant. But if want reliability and best possible feature combo then city top variant wins

Tough to choose between verna and virtus .
Today I saw new Verna in parking .. it looks so cheap from outside
