Love this pov. Cars are definitely something I love to shoot, and dam, you definitely nailed it with stunning work as ever. Huge thanks also for the shout in the #cpphotos section, im truly honoured.
Mate, how do you determine what shutter you are using for some of those shots? I know the basics of it, but something you are using 1/1000 or faster for a non moving object? Why? I'm not questioning your choice, I just want to know the reason why. Loving the content mate!
Lovely shots mate. Cool location for it with good light. Curious though, the ISO seems high for your shutter speeds considering the car is still. Was there a specific reason why the ISO was high hundreds when the shutter speed was high hundreds? How come you didnt drop way down with the ISO and lower the shutter speed a bit? Nice work bro
Cows and cars! How funny!! Awesome job again mate! My Sigma 18-50 LIVES on my a6400. My favorite walk-around kit/!! Probably my favorite camera/lens combo out of all my cameras for "pick up and go" photography. Oh, BTW, have you tried the new TTArtisans 27mm f2.8 yet? It's an amazing value for a small and light auto-focus aps-c prime. That lens currently lives on my zv-e10. Talk about a small and light package! Give it a look!!
Curtis braves thistles, midges, puddles, and mad cows to get the shots - nice. Next time bring an assistant for the light painting.😊 Can you get “vanity” plates in the UK (e.g., “CP Photos”? Cheers!
Great video was debating whether to get this lens after watching this I use it on both my A6400 and A7Rii love your composition as well. Oh have also subscribed mate great videos...
So I'm new to photography kinda and I'm self taught and im still learning new things everyday.. my biggest question is what Sony camera around $2,000 would be the best option for race photography? because that's what I normally shoot I will be picking up a new camera next weekend for a hill climb race coming up
As you're starting out, learning the basics is more important than blowing all your budget on camera gear, and not knowing if you are looking to stay in the creative field long term, start of small, you already know this guy has a a6400 even I got one recently, can get it used as it's a few years old, but still capable of fantastic shots, then get a prime and a zoom lens to start off and you can still have most of 1K to 700usd left over for other stuff like filters, lighting stuff. Look at some other brands like Fuji X-T3 / X-T4 and some other Sony cameras, even canon... research as much as you can, before deciding, it's more about the photographer than the gear, your eye and framing, the skills you learn along the way, then when you feel you outgrown your gear you upgrade but enjoy.
You are my favorite photographer I started because I’m currently in college for photography. I just wanted to say thank you for helping me find my dream job.🫶🏾
the camera is on sale for 750 in my area right now. if that sale keeps going until i have enough money im buying it! if the sale is gone im buying the zve10
Picked up my A6400 pretty recently and so far the only lens I grabbed is the Sigma 30mm 1.4. Any strong recommendations to fill out the lens category? I don't want to spend too much or have a big collection ideally at best I'd like to have maybe 3 dedicated lenses that cover a range of use.
That's great hope your enjoying your new camera. 30mm is a lens I wanna try out next. I do recommend the sigma 18-50 as a versatile Zoom Lens and Sigma 56mm F1.4 as another prime. Hope that helps! 🤙
Who'd be up for seeing some more car photoshoots with Sony A6400?
Sure! Why not :-D

Defo mate

Why did you not shoot with ZV-E10?
I do not own the ZV-E10. I hired that camera to test it out for a few weeks. Maybe I'll do more content with the camera in the future. 👍
Worth buying in 2023 ?

18-50 f1.4 🤣🤣🤣
I might just need to get that 18-50 sigma. It’s sharp AF. 🫣
Honestly dude you won't regret it one of the best zoom lenses for APS-C cameras. 🤙
