Nice. I'm upcycling pop cans and will definitely be incorporating these into my projects.
I love soda cans! I made a million flowers this past summer, going to teach it at my campground hopefully this summer....
I loved watching your video. My neighbour gave me about 20 large beer cans. I have them cut ready to die cut. Thanks so much for sharing.
Oh Elsie, thanks for taking the time to comment! I'm so happy that you will be trying this project, have fun!
Thank you so much for sharing this. Loved it and I'll be collecting cans now.
Hi Peggy, happy new year! AWESOME that you will try this, it is so much fun!
Love this idea ❤❤❤
Wonderful, soda can flowers are SO MUCH FUN! 💜💜💜
thank you for your explanation and demonstrations... now I have a better understanding of the process... time to collect some cans... lol...
You can do it!
I love this Jeri!! Thank you so much. I totally want to try one day when I grow up and can afford a Cuttlebug. Do you have any suggestions for how one might do this without a Cuttlebug? Is that even how you write it? Anyway, I bet you could find a way to find a way to stencil a flower patter onto the metal and then cut it and then use a hammer and some creative tools to make the embossing look. I really like these and I can see that you could use them more than on a mixed media page. Stunning and thanks for sharing this!!
These are so cute.!!!! Thanks for sharing this!! :)
Thank you for watching!!
Can you display these outside? Do you have to seal them?
Yes, you can.... I have had some outside for years. And I have not sealed them.
Absolutely beautiful Jeri!! And easy to do!! KIF
Great ideas!
Thank you! 😊
Your flowers are so cute!!! Thank you for sharing! :)
Strawberry4Cupcake Thanks for watching!!! I hope to make some more videos soon....
Love the tutorial, thank you! I also get jewelry from thrift stores and garage sales😝
So glad you enjoyed it, thanks so much for stopping by!!
What are some of the ways you use the flowers? Do you ever use them as jewelry such as necklaces, pins and earrings?
Yes, I have made pins from them. You can use them as embellishments on things, I make Altered Books and use them on those. Thanks for watching, I'm sure you will come up with ideas too based on the types of crafting you like to do.
I love this! I'm going to try it too!!
Thanks for watching!
Love your work. Thank you 😊😊
Thank you for watching and leaving me a comment!
Thank you for showing how to color the aluminum. I have cut my first cans and now ready to color. Now I have to buy the alcohol inks for my flowers. Would alcohol pens work for butterfly wings?
Yes they sure would work! Thanks for watching!
gorgeous thanks
thank you for watching!
Do you have a tutorial showing how you use the bottom of the can in your garden? I love these flowers.
I use the bottom of the can in the center of the flower. 💚
YES! Awesome. Thanks, Jeri!❤️
You're so welcome Andrea! I hope you try it!
I just bought my spellbinders die cut mchine and i was just collecting my cans so i could do this veru project lol! This was geat though because im unfamiliar with how these plates work.now I have some insight! Tfs💖💕💞🦋
Awesome! Have fun with it and thanks for watching! 💚
What brand of alcohol ink do you use and where can you get it? LOVE the video....
Hi Taya... so I got my inks at Michaels, AC Moore and JoAnns. The brand name is Adirondack, Tim Holtz. Thanks so much for watching!!!! :-)
Got a lot of inspiration after your video!
Thanks 👀
Oh thanks so much! I hope you try it!
If you use alcohol inks, can the flowers be put outside or would the rain wash away the ink?
Mine have been outside for a a few years and still have color. They might fade a little but I'm still happy with them. Thanks for watching!
Where do you find the broken jewelry? Just from yours or do you buy it?
I've been collecting it for years, but you can buy lots of it on Ebay. thanks for watching!
Thanks for sharing. This was great tutorial.
Good morning! Thanks so much for watching!
Muito Bonito! Pra que serve essas flores?
Thank you for being here!! 💚
Can you make jewelry out of these, or will the aluminum cut your skin?
I made earrings and you just have to file the edges so there's nothing sharp.
@JeriBellini ...thank you! ❤
Nice work. But l want to know, After making these flowers, where we can use it ? I mean How ? If you have any link, pl. share here. I would like to watch 😊. Thanks
Hello Sushmita! I have made and wear earrings, I have used them on altered book covers. In one of my VLOGS I showed the altered book (#5) and the earrings I think might be in that one too. I've seen them on mixed media pages (since they can be made totally flat). You could cover a mirror or picture frame with them. That would look cool! And you could put them outside in your garden, since they are soda cans they would be fine and when they weren't you could make more! Hope you have a great day, thanks for watching!
Recycled Parts 4 Art - Thanks for prompt reply 👍🏼😊
Jeri.. are the alcohol inks permanent? like for holding up to outside weather, rain etc?? or can you tell me what to seal with if not?
Hi Jami, away on vacation so sorry for the delay in responding... They are pretty permanent, the sun might fade the color at some point though. Hey have fun with it you can always add more ink to them! thanks for watching!
thank you so very much.. have a great rest of your vacation..
I like to put a thin coat of spray varnish
