I was looking for a way to precision cut aluminum to use in a stained glass fusing project, [snowflakes]. Your Embossing machine & (wah'la - pop cans!), is just what'll do it. Thanks a bunch!!
Love these vids. You've done an excellent job with the camera/mic as well as your demonstration. I'm the same when it comes to my desk/worktable... I use a 1/8" Lexon plexiglass sheet, it's durable - cleans up easy and doubles for 'in-sight, in-mind' project reminders or you can just have fun decorating under it since it's seethrough.
I used an embossing folder. I show an example in the 3rd part of this mini series: Cutting and Embossing Aluminum Soda Cans I really love the effect the embossing folders create.
Yes I was wondering the same. What do you do to attach aluminum to aluminum and aluminum to card stock. And do you do anything to the edges to dull them down?
I loved these tutorials. I use dollar store nail polish on soda can aluminum. It’s a different effect but fun.
I just stumbled across this soda can tutorial today looking for inspiration. Very well done and I’m excited to make my own tin can projects!
