I have updated to the latest firmware but I have never managed to get CEC not sure what I am doing wrong ?

Hello! It could be one of a few things as to why CEC isn't working for you. It is most likely the display you are using. CEC isn't a set standard and depending on the display the CEC version could be incompatible. Depending on when you bought your Play, it is possible the hardware could be the issue as well.
