I don't think that fight had anything to do with Mark and Lexie's relationship but I think it was Derek letting out his frustrations about losing his patient and he was simply taking his feelings and emotions out on Mark.
Nahh what I realize is Derek although he accepted Mark, he would always keep a bit of a cold shoulder towards him. He would always every now and then remind mark of the time him and Addison had sex, and it was just a matter of time before he let all of that frustration out. And that’s what happened in this scene. It wasn’t only about the surgery (although mark chose the wrong moment to tell Derek about Lexie). It was an underlying cause. The fact Addison cheated with mark, and Derek built up all those emotions. So that’s what Derek was letting out
can you imagine being patients in that hospital during that fight!!! i would be warring between staying to watch the pretty men fight and wanting to go to another hospital where the docs aren't crazy
McDreamy and McSteamy fighting that was hot as hell. I don't think Derek hitting Mark had anythig to do with what he was upset about. Mark isn't innocent but that was the worst time to tell Derek about him and Lexie.

The way that Alex told Addison that Derek is Meredith’s guy kind of just breaks you a little bit. You can see the realization and reality of it all cross her face when she sees Meredith comforting Derek.

She should have cupped his face or held the ice pack on his hand, in the end... Though I do think that in that last shot of her, her shoulder is in a weird angle which makes me think she did, they just edited it out, which if they did is just plain stupid!

Neither is Mark. He slept with all his best friend's sisters, he also slept with his best friend's wife, and he almost killed his best friend's pet frog.

I had really liked him and had such a crush on him because he was really nice to me and he helped me stock the soda fridges at our party company job. He was only a few years older than me and I thought that he liked me. But I guess he was only interested in one thing, so I moved on to avoid the inevitable heartbreak that was bound to come.
