I do too. Talking with my younger guys at work, they find it hard to believe that the Browns were ever a great team. I told them about all of their playoff appearances and they're just shocked.
*rolls eyes* ...at this point in time the NFL was the third most popular league, and now its unquestionably number 1. But according to you it’s not worth watching today. Y’all nostalgia freaks are hilarious
I had a childhood friend who, after we watched "Ace Ventura: Pet Detective", let me borrow a tape which I totally forgot I initially wanted to borrow it for, but what I do remember was that most of that Bengals/Patriots game recorded at about the midway point of the tape . Good stuff there for the Patriots in that game.
Interesting that this edition of Primetime bounced back and forth between the early and late games. Don't think I've seen an old Primetime that they did the highlights that way before.
I think if there was a record for tipped/batted passes that led to interceptions, Boomer Esiason would have it: the bulk of the interceptions I've seen him throw were of the tipped/batted variety.
Frank Minnifield and Hanford Dixon should be Hall of Famers. If the Browns make at least one of those Super Bowls I think they get voted in. Clay Matthews too. Bernie and Eric Metcalf should be in regardless!
The 49ers lost 3/4 after this win. Then the 49ers were 6-5 heading into a MNF game vs the Washington Redskins. The 49ers kicked the Redskins ass and never looked back on their way to the Super Bowl XXIII championship.
This was so much fun to watch! I don't know what was better, the football highlights or the old commercials! Thanks for posting!!
When life was a little simpler and the FOOTBALL was way more authentic and INTENSE. And this ESPN music just takes me BACK.
I Remember when "The Washington Redskins " where a Joy to watch
I remember when English grammar was taught in elementary school.
Love these old episodes.
I remember when Cleveland was a joy to watch.
Cleveland Browns are back in 2020 Baker Mayfield Odell Beckham Jr studs

RIP John Saunders and Pete Axthlem
Those two guys from the Bears almost killed Steve Pelluer from Dallas, or could have left him paralized.
I remember when the Saints had the Dome Patrol
Yes ladies and gentlemen, there was actually a time when the NFL was worth watching.

Brown's still made the playoffs that year with all those injuries and QB's that played!
That team was a super bowl contender with Kosar that season
Didn't even realize Danny White was still playing in 88. Turns out he only played in one more game after that.
bum
@@MaximusWolfe he actually has every cowboys passing record!
He should.....he played 15 years in Dallas.
Back in the day when coaches didn't have to shake hands. I loved it.
Such great memories !! Thank you for this !!

33:36 The man who would catch Brett Favre's game winner against the Bengals in '92.
It was Sullivan Stadium from 1983-1989, Not Schaefer Stadium
