This is absolute gold! Takes me back to being a young kid on Sunday night during the fall/early winter. Berman's take on the Saints-Steelers and Bucs-Vikings games were awesome!
I was at the Mausoleum as Berman called it for that Raiders/Bengals game. 2nd of three Bengals games I was fortunate to see courtesy of my uncle Ickey Woods. The first was the great Rams/Bengals game at Anaheim that Cincy won in OT 34-31. Great shootout in the sun. The next two were this game...famous for Bo Jackson being caught at the one yard line by "Hot" Rod Jones. And the last one was the playoff game the following month that served as Bo Jackson's last game, and the last hurrah for Marcus Allen as a Raider, rushing for 140 yards and ONCE AGAIN showing up big in the playoffs.
Ha, I remember reading a Pro Football Weekly team season wrap-up on the Vikings, saying that the team collapsed so bad down the stretch that they allowed "rambling wreck Vinny Testaverde to run for 105 yards", so I've always remembered that game due to that write-up. Joking aside, good for Vinny; I was definitely a fan, and I think he did a nice salvage job he did with his NFL career.
I thought James Washington was a good safety for the Cowboys; he was criticized in Jeff Pearlman's book "Boys Will Be Boys" for being a slow, non-instinctive player who annoyed many teammates, but I thought he made a lot of plays. I also believe he should've been co-MYP of Super bowl XXVIII; he was involved in three turnovers which set up 17 Cowboys points (7 directly through his fumble return that tied the game, and swung the game's momentum towards Dallas, and set up the Emmitt Smith Show).
14 year old me LIVED for this!
Me too
Best part of Sunday during football season as a kid was prime time
19:24...this is why we take concussions seriously. Tom Jackson about as flip about it as he can be.

Warren Moon's 500-yard game.

Hard to believe all the tunes on these highlights (with the exception of the Phoenix @ Dallas one) would be gone by 1992.
Letting Vinny run for 100 on us was the absolute rock bottom moment of the Jerry Burns era.
1:58 after espn nfl primetime will be sunday night nfl on espn
Tom Jackson: Warren Moon keeps getting back up for the next play.
Next week's game: 👀
Famous game where Jerome Brown asked Reggie White to stop throwing Tony Mandarich around because he was interfering with his rush
Is that true???
@@joedodic549 Yup. Eagles players were laughing at him.
RIP Wade Wilson!!
Do you have week 11 of this year? 11-18-90

7:30 Not the last time Rich Gannon would have a terrible game against the Bucs!
When hitting was allowed.

Neal was great! As a bear fan. He was a great Bear back!
If the Falcons and raiders gave Dickerson the ball half as much as the rams/Colts did he would've broke Paytons record !
He got 1/2 the carries, because he was 1/2 as effective!
