I about died laughing when both of you, and I, lifted our heads in unison to that slide at 6:05😂 Also, the pissed off eye roll-type look when you can’t stand how good he is anymore is spot on😂😂
Ah yes gentlemen. Here we can see the 5 stages of showing someone Geoff 1. indifference (1:55) 2. Surprise (2:02) 3. Confusion (2:06) 4. Intrigue (2:20) 5. Vibin' (3:55)
The reason it's a "low bass singer cover" is because Geoff has been doing "bass singer covers" of things that are originally light baritone to counter-tenor, and the original "Sixteen Tons" is by "Tennessee" Ernie Ford (a magnificent Bass-Baritone) who sang it in a bass register to begin with. So, rather than being a "bass" it's a "low bass" cover. If you aren't already familiar with "Tennessee" Ernie Ford, look him up (given Brad's background, I'd be surprised if *he* hasn't). Gospel, Country, and what I can only call "working-man pop" in a smooth, smooth bass-baritone voice.
I've watched a lot of reactions to Geoff's videos and it is so funny watching the lady reactors get thirsty and the gentleman reactors get so mad when he goes low. It's a very primal thing.
There are plenty of men who can sing this low and have a wide range -- I am one of them -- but not many who can do it the way Geoff can. My range is very similar to Geoff's... his timbre and ability to access his range is what I am jealous of!
I love how every time Geoff's voice goes super low, they actively look like they are struggling to keep their eyes from rolling into the back of the head and passing out. Hahaha.
I love the way she looked when you tried to sing super bass by niki that was hilarious. Plus I love all your wonderful reactions and all your original songs keep up the good work and God bless you both
lol at your ear drums shaking. I"ve seen this guy sing live. You know how a bass guitar over a loudspeaker can make your rib cage vibrate? Yeah. So can Geoff. I sat there w/ my jaw dropped. The vids are nothing compared to a live performance. I highly recommend the experience. And yes...she's right. He's a walking thirst trap in that video. :D
Hello, we would love to see your reaction on my 13 year old brother's cover of SIXTEEN TONS by Geoff Castellucci.... Ed Wayne Santos Cover of SIXTEEN TONS.
Still waiting on that Bradical 4 Life Brotherrr merch! Hahahaha. Good to see Emily around again, this song puts me in awe every time I hear it. Just incredible what he can do. Can't wait for the next reaction!
Just found your channel for the first time on your my mother told me video, I was curious where I can find your music? You have a wonderful voice of your own and I would love to see more
Good day you two! always a blast watching your combined reaction vids! this...is literally the first time i heard Mr Castelluci sing and..im blown away by this rendition of "16 tons".......your observations are spot on..as always lol!! ironically..i was watching the "Tennessee Ernie fords version of this about 24 hours ago! Take care u two and...Keep those reactions vids coming!! Take care and God bless!! p.s......hope u dont mind me saying so sir but....your "betrothed"...Emily..literally has a face comparable to"Helen of Troy"....in that she has the kind of beautiful face that is so lovely that...she could launch those thousand ships!! lol!!.......hope i dont offend u in saying since i am almost old enough to be both of your grandpa's ...... and..happily married!! God Bless!
He advertises the low-bass because that is what people ask for. He is a baritone, that considers himself a tenor. He wanted to sing tenor for a rock band. But we seldom get what we want out of life.
Brave man letting your fiance see this.
showed my wife this. i have no idea where she is now.
doesnt matter who starts the car, its whos driving you home 🍻
Lol I was going to say this I'm glad my wife has not found him, I'll be compared to him for eternity 😅
right? she aint thinking of you that night.
@@StrangeDuck LOL !
“Thirst Trap!” LOL! The facial expressions were priceless. And you guys are so sweet!

Her face: thirsty
His face: "I hate my life" 😂
The man who can Steal your girlfriend away 😁

He doesn’t need to “steel” her - he starts doin what he does and she’ll float right over to him. 😄
*Steel your girlfriend
He can also steal the boyfriend away
@@qwatschel3353 wut? Steel is the metal steal means to take without consent...

Hahaha Yes, a thirst trap. Best description I have heard in a reaction to this yet.
Me a strait man: Yes

The sad part about these videos with dudes showing this to their girls is after the video when they have to clean their girl's chair.
And he did this whole thing without using subharmonics. 100% natural chest voice.
Wrong

@@pacificcoastpiper3949 He said so himself. Are you accusing Geoff of lying?
@@HanahbibiVarietyVlogs Geoff said so himself.

I think Elizabeth Zharoffs reaction videos to Geoff are the best.
@@wcurren17 ikr? The Charismatic Voice, she's such a fan of the bass notes
Very true. Luckily i have been blessed with a deep baritone voice so no jealousy here. Enjoy Geoff ladies !
@@johndeeregreen4592 Are you a full time nothing but musician? Or do you have a day job. Because Geoff likely works hours a day to get that?
Tennessee Ernie Ford would say, "Bless his Pea Pickin Heart"
Listen to Home Free singing May Day Tim is singing the High Notes
They already did it bub
That was the best "yataka" I've ever seen in my life. And her reaction to it was amazing
Such a great reaction from Emily! I even saw you reacting again, Brad! This is the umpteenth time I’ve seen it and I’m still in awe!
I don't know how I missed it, considering the dozens of times I've heard this version, but there's a standup bass backing him up.
I love how every time Geoff's voice goes super low, they actively look like they are struggling to keep their eyes from rolling into the back of the head and passing out. Hahaha.
Yes! You did it! I was so hoping you would! Emily your hair looks really nice!
I definitely recommend rewatching it with the subtitles on. He hid some things in there. Loved the reaction!
Was waiting to see if she was going to climb on Brad when Geoff hit those low notes like when Tim did.
I love the way she looked when you tried to sing super bass by niki that was hilarious. Plus I love all your wonderful reactions and all your original songs keep up the good work and God bless you both
You guys harmonies together are sounding GREAT....My favorite part of this reaction...
Emily's back. Missed her so much. Love her reactions ❤
I'm waiting for your reaction to Home Free's Sea shanty medley
Yessss
Yes!
If her reaction to this is anything to go by, Brad's fiancee would really be floored by Home Free's Sea Shanty Medley

I’ve never seen a reaction to this that didn’t involved a lot of head-bopping. I’ve also never seen a woman react that didn’t involve hot flashes!
ooh i was waiting for this reaction haha nice :D rofl the shot on 6:20 is epic hahahaha made me laugh really hard.
Cool reaction there.... Geoff never fails to deliver.... Does he... Lol
3:16 Her face: "I'M MARRYING THIS MAN!!" 🤦♂️🤣🤣
I love how brad goes "his name is jeff" 🤣i love it
Tennessee Ernie Ford sang this back in the 60s...my mom had the record so I grew up knowing it!!
Great to see you back, Emily!

He is so talented at the sub-harmonic stuff he just makes it look so easy and passes it off as nothing but it really isn't.
One of my favorite old time songs. It’s been covered by many singers over the years. You might like the ZZ Top version also
Me when I saw this cover: 😳
Brad and Emily when they saw this cover: 😳
Just 😳 to Geoff (in the best way of course)
Hey guys welcome to the coal mines of West Virginia. There is a statue to John Henry in the coal fields. Just found you guys are awesome.
3:50 "Well, bless my soul!" Hey, how did Tony the Tiger get down there in that coal mine?!
I never liked this song, but now damm I love it. It's definitely the singer. 👍🍻🍻🍻

No man should ever let his woman watch this vid! Between the voice and the looks, no man is ever going to live up to that!
Now Geoff needs to cover "I was born under a wandering star" by Lee Marvin.
I love Emily's reaction to this. Great reaction.
Now that you’ve heard Geoff’s cover of this song, have you ever heard the original with Tennessee Ernie Ford singing it? You ought to react to it!
The End you two look like you drifthed thru the Space kind like i‘m gone
It's you guys' faces at 6:20 for me! Those are absolutely priceless! And completely valid!
Tomi P - Hellfire is too good. Will blow your mind if you love bass.
You need to see Voiceplay do Dragonborn. Its stunning
They were all good but the one in the white tank top really stole the show!
Great reaction to this iconic song.
Geoff makes this song much more interesting than Ernie Ford.
At 4:24 Look at the Geoff with the shovel (he almost drops it and he plays it off cool)
Thats what we would call a 'geoffquake in action'
You have to listen to that song on a surround sound setup with a powerful subwoofer!
Okay okay x)) and the super bass got me too. Shoot
His naem i- Geoff...
Perfection...
I love it he's preaching the gospel to you in base he got horsepower in that voice and thunder in his footsteps
try using a sub-woofer, it will shake the whole house.
She's gorgeous 🥰 You're a lucky man!
I didn't think you were old enough for Tool Time 🤣🤣. Crazy good song
His expressions are like: I'm afraid I just lost my girl to this guy
Emily is so nice to give you a shoulder to cry on.
She has awesome reactions.
He is doing Tennessee Ernie Ford proud

Stolen >> Geoff Castellucci: generates resonance from places where most of us don't have places
If I had this voice, I'd have 9 kids instead of two

Both of you have amazing accents.
The original version is by Tennessee Earnest Ford.
LOL LOL LOL the face says it all :P Well done dears!!
I've been around long enough to remember the Tennessee Ernie Ford original. This version is, very possibly, better.
Your faces at 6:20 epic !!!!
I mean that’s the face everyone should get to say WTF !!!!
nice reaction!
Thirst Trap, excellently done !!!!
Harry Nilsson was an early experimenter with multitrack when it was still done with TAPE. He also sang ALL the parts.

Brad you are a LUCKY man. Very fortunate God has blessed you with a future life partner that gets all your quirkiness. Love your reaction!!!!!
That man can work it!!!
One Man Choir Cover
That is what it is.
I think his full-voiced range is like C#1-B4 or something nuts like that
Guys, check the Wellerman cover by Tomi P featuring Casper Fox..guarantee you gonna love it
Listen to Geoff's version of Blackbird. It's marvelous.
Tennessee Earney Ford would be proud!,
His upper register harmonies are just unfair on us mere mortals.
His name is Jeff
You just couldn't help yourself
The first 40 seconds gave me douche chills all over my body

Geoff hits an A#5 in VoicePlay's 1:23 long cover of peaches! I'd love to see reactors reactions but almost no one has reacted to it
Should show her the oogie boogie song ..video play cover
would like to hear him sing Go Down Moses
I understand his low note in this song is an F1 ... Im no more than a musical fan-boy.. but do i hear almost 3 octaves of range?
XD the "his name is Jeff" got me. X)) not gonna lie
