Geoff is a rare talent. His range is just sick. His G1 low notes are the bomb and he uses different techniques - chest, sub harmonic, growl etc. There are lots of great bass singers but Geoff is the king in my book.
Geoff is also the bass (and a founding member) for VoicePlay. It's been said that he sings the full range of a 5-string bass guitar. I think you'll like his covers of Ain't No Sunshine and 16 Tons.
@@weslennon3425 If you're speaking about ranges in general, that doesn't apply. Dimash sings into 7 octaves, and without much apparent stress. (I haven't been following him closely for the last couple of years: I know he's going much lower than he used to. I don't know if he has the full 7th octave or not. But he's only 27, so the lower end will continue to respond and deepen as he trains.) So... male ranges can be W-I-D-E. 5 is wonderful, but it's hardly the whole deal. If we're talking about the 5 string bass guitar, I didn't know that, and thanks. That makes me think that each string plays an octave, and the 6 string covers 6 octaves?
I just love watching Geoff break every single reactor out there. It never gets old. Geoff has a 5 votive range and sings all his songs himself. He plays all the different parts. Love love love Geoff Castellucci
Welp, looks like Geoff snared another one! Good reaction, the Geoffs has done many other songs together, some even deeper notes than in this performance. Good luck.
Great reaction--thanks! Yes, all of them were Geoff ("Jeff") Castellucci and he harmonizes quite well with himself. He has an amazing 5 octave voice range and has worked very hard on different sound techniques to get that amazing quality and tone when he goes so low. I remember one reactor doing a reaction to this song and having a lamp go out and the picture on the wall behind him fell. I really enjoyed your reaction and hope to see more reactions to Voice Play and Geoff's solo work.
Dear Sarah, Thank you! I have heard many different kinds of music, that but for you, I would never have known existed. (I love the Pentatonix. I have been a huge fan of theirs for years.) Again, thank you for expanding my musical horizons! ❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏
Great reaction😀! I thought I was at a try out for the deepest male vocalist competition 🤣🤣!!!!! Wow!! Your reaction was awesome!!! Thank you Sarah, and be well👍🏻👍🏻😀❤️
his voice can be felt from the top of my spine to the bottom of my feet every time and he's other songs do the same to me i thank every day because his voice is fantastic and you don't even expect it from someone who looks like he spends all day on the beach surfing
Nice reaction hope you do more of him and you should definitely do voice play "the Dragonborn comes"with him included and when you want songs from him you should react to then ask me😊
I think these deep voices are part of the reason women are grateful that there are men on this planet. I really had to try hard to accept the fact that he is performing all 4 parts !!! I can only think of a lady turning to her boyfriend and saying, "You can go now. I want THAT guy! "
YES, YES, YES ! I new it, just knew it. After your reaction to "Hoist The Color", I had to see your reaction to Geoff himself! My big thanks to you ! Geoff is brilliant, his voice is so clear and very strong. My second favorite low bass singer is Tim Foust from Home Free. I recommend his solo cover : "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow / Stay" . Very funny cover ,. Sorry for my English.
Also Sarah, if you want some fast stuff, give a listen to his cover of Way Down and pay attention to the name tags at the end and for this cover of Misty Mtns, did you just eargasm or geoff-gasm?
This is from the film version of the Hobbit. The Hobbit, or There and Back Again is a children's fantasy novel by English author J. R. R. Tolkien. It was published in 1937. In the film the Dwarves sing it. The Dwarves belonging to the house of the Longbeards, otherwise known as Durin's Folk, who lived in the Iron Hills.Check this out Misty Mountains (Cold) Full Song And Scene With Lyrics [HD/HQ].
Lets just admit it Geoff has a tiny amount of sex appeal. And Awww you are so sweet, did you know lyrics came from the Lord of the Rings, a Fantasy Trilogy that was awarded BOOK OF THE CENTURY, and song also features in the movie, song by the Dwarfs, if anyone have not seen them movies or read the books, they absolutely MUST. Even though its a European fantasy story and features no heroes from outside Europe its very worth it, cause its made in the spirit of Tolkien think it has the shared record of Oscars too, like 11 or so

That's some reaction. I thought you were going to say you need a cold shower. lol . Geoff reaches the parts nothing else can. :)
Geoff is one of a kind. A separate species of vocalist.

I think both! Haha
😂 I was going to say the same thing, BOTH!! ❤
oh my..
So so so emotional reaction! I loved it!
I need a cold shower after that
I understand that feeling!
size of the vocal cords, the ability to slow them down, breath support and practice
You should also listen to this song from Tim and Peter…!!!

@@gnomekilla8071 yes i know cheers.
You should listen to Tim Storms. He did hold the world record for the lowest note. Tim used to sing bass with Pierce Arrow in Branson MO.
Will check it out, thank you 🙂
I would love to see you react to Hoist the Colours | The Bass Singers of TikTok

This song makes me want to hunt for food with nothing but an animals hide as a coat in winter with nothing but a spear
As someone whos lowest chest note is a B1 i wonder how the hell he has a G1 daily chest while it being that thick (like in 2:47)
Listen to this by Tim Foust and compare.
Listen to Ghost Riders in the Sky.
bring him a mop
