That was a moving story with the 6 foot 4 Welsh Guardsman "Graham" I´d of done the same as you without battering an eyelid! The sad thing is only ex-service personell can fathom these things, and many people who haven´t served don´t really give a damn about rememberance or gratitude for our fallen and mentally damaged comrades. Thanks for the video, and keeping the memories alive. Let us never forget.........
Eh up Keith, I've been to a couple of not forgotten association functions while working as a care worker at Broughton house care home for ex service men and women, they visited Broughton house regularly. I've still got a not forgotten neck tie from one of the events. Keep the videos coming 👍🏻
Excellent thanks ,I know this charity and the Stirling work it does 👏I am lucky to have been able to have met many brave veterans but the story about the Far East POW veteran was horrific and heartbreaking but thanks to you his story lives on !! Thanks 🙏
Another great vid Keith , I'd heard about Not Forgotten , but I never knew the full extent of what they did , it sounds like a great organisation, it's great that such charities like this exist for former and current serving servicemen and women. 👍

Great video and great stories of heroic deeds! I was injured in Afghanistan though not seriously enough to warrant a medevac flight so came home on a trooping flight. My grandfather survived the war, undecorated, as a VR pilot who worked directly with the French resistance. Regular night flights to bring back downed pilot's, targeted hits en route to give Bletchley tells on the next days code settings. After the war he started a building business and named the houses he built after the French resistance women who he knew and died horrific deaths when captured. Never formally acknowledged at home, he was an honoured guest in France from then on until he died. Ceremonies meant nothing to him. Actions did. When he died Gran found his service pistol hidden under the mattress. He surrounded his house with gravel paths so that nobody could get close without him hearing them. He trained his parrot to warn of intruder's. We are judged by our deeds, not our word's. Politics is all talk and zero courage. Our homeland is being invaded day in day out aided by the RNLI ! No donations to their cause anymore. We have been betrayed and it's time to hold those bstards to account for their crime's.
