how much would you or a typical shop charge to do this job? found myself to be in the same position unfortunately. thanks. you made that look to easy! im losing my mind!
This usually happens when the pan needs to be removed, most of the time it just becomes part of the job quote. If it came into the shop for broken bolts I would charge 1.0 hour per bolt, $150 to $200 per hour depending on the shop.
How do you remove a stripped bolt and a extracted tool also stuck into together on a transmission where the pan gasket layer between the pan and the transmission. I'm trying to find a way to remove it. I don't think weld it will not work, it will mess up the aluminum body frame assembly.
I assume you are talking about an easy out, if it's the kind that grab when turning left you can try to use a small punch and hit it clockwise try to knock it loose. Another thing is to use a very small drill bit and drill around it, this is not easy, drill bit can break.
@@aldasilva2239 i have try everything, I'm not used to stripped bolts but the easy out the one you called it, well it happened to me before, my cousin brother used his drill and bits to drill through and it took 30 minutes to take the bolt out and he put a bigger bolt in. I'm still trying to figure that out. I try not to stripped but or straight it out but the bolt stripped and the the head bolt broke on me try to take it out slowly.

Hey. What brand drill bit? I used 5 different none worked
Most name brand drill bits will work, 1/8 bit needs to be sharp.
how much time it takes?
Depends on your skill, should be about a half hour.
