@@teeemm9456 mccown thrived in the Marc tressman system the bears had the second best offense that year too bad the defense was historically bad those years
I love Matt forte and I would love to enjoy this, but this was such a painful year on defense. Getting blown out regularly! Hard to watch again. Time for a beer.
My brother is a giant Bears fan and he might be the only person I know that has a signed Forte Jersey in his office at home. Really happy we both got to watch these highlights together.
@@JoshuaBridgeman Not sure why that's so hard to believe. A longer stride means his legs aren't shuffling as quickly as someone with a short stride - Hence, why he looked _slow_ to me.
One of my favorites of all time. People forget how good Forte was and especially when the pass game was working, forget about it you have no chance lol.
Watching Forte run was always mesmerizing. It looked interesting because he's lankier than the prototypical RB build, but there was something so smooth about the way he ran and juked. Almost like the plays were going in slow motion yet they still couldn't stop it.
The best back we’ve had since Payton. Had receivers hands 🙌🏼 vision and a burst to go along with his frame wasn’t super fast and agile but was shifty enough. I was hella hyped when we draft him. I remember the 08 draft. I wanted the bears to draft him. When they did, I knew we were gonna be good for the next 8-10 years at RB.
Hearing the commentator say "He's leading the league in receiving yards" in the Miami game, while earlier I was like "I didn't realize just how many screen passes he caught when he played" before he said that xD the dude was just that good.
Bears had the #2 Offense after Denver with Manning throwing 55 TDs but they had the 32nd ranked Defense that year. Finished 8-8 . Waste of a great season by Forte , Jeffery and Marshall
Forte definitely did enough to get his number retired. Its a shame the GM at the time let him go when Forte clearly had a few more years of excellence, he was also loyal not wanting to play for another team, unfortunately management forced him out.
He shows up from time to time. He just stays out of the spotlight more than some. Here's an interview from just a few months ago. ruclips.net/video/ZTXiRAfxAxI/видео.htmlsi=oX8eypuB61kgS_6G
What’s more insane is the scoreboard that showed the Bears behind almost every single play. Nice 17 yard pick up, then you look at the scoreboard and realize they were down double digits. 😂That team was horrible despite of Forte having an excellent season.
4th best RB in Bears history. Loved his effort, but dude got tackled by the shoestrings constantly and couldn't get a 3rd or 4th & 1 (or goal-to-go) to save his life.
NFL hates the Bears confirmed… Not only is 70% of this video normal runs (Forte was a beast and one of my favorite Bears) but this was just used to show the scores and how bad we were lol. That Patriots and Packers ones back to back lmao oh Mel Tucker.
One of the most underrated RBs I've seen. He was great on the run and pass plays at this time. Nice to see him get his own highlights from nfl
The last complete back. Generational
Alright I guess we’re doing this today
Yeah I see where our bears fell in love with the screen he turned each one into a first down
next they're going to put up Johnny Knox highlights
😅
Didnt expect this video today
i love these older highlight reel videos. wish they'd do more.
It is so random
Man!!! I miss Matt Forte most underrated RB for sure.
On a random October day, you guys decide to upload one of our best players. This is a random surprise I wasn't expecting haha
bro was a monster 🔥🔥
Most underrated rb for the Bears
In the nfl
Neal Anderson?
@@czars694I’m with you on that one but he gave up. Forte carried fanship for them for years we had nobody to look forward to watching
@@czars694he ain’t no forte. He was the whole offense
hard to not love forte man always such an underrated back
That offense was insane. Forte, Bennett, Jeffery and Marshall with Cutty
And still wasn’t that good like they should’ve been with the defense they had in 2012 they shoulda won a Super Bowl
What? Average Jay wasn't insane, the year before was better when McCowan played half the first 14 games and outplayed cutlet as a backup.
@@teeemm9456 mccown thrived in the Marc tressman system the bears had the second best offense that year too bad the defense was historically bad those years
Such a wonderful player to watch, for a long time.
Thank u NFL for never forgetting MATT FORTE!!!
We had a real one with Forte. Super underrated imo.
I love Matt forte and I would love to enjoy this, but this was such a painful year on defense. Getting blown out regularly! Hard to watch again. Time for a beer.
All time legendary! One of the smoothest to ever do it💯
he's one of my favorite Bears of all time. such a patient runner. kind of like LeVeon Bell with the steelers.
Man, I'd love to watch this highlight reel of the amazing Matt Forte, but RUclips insists I watch an ad every minute 🤮
babe wake up new Matt Forte highlight reel just dropped
My brother is a giant Bears fan and he might be the only person I know that has a signed Forte Jersey in his office at home. Really happy we both got to watch these highlights together.
He ran so effortlessly back in the day. Great vision, great pass catcher. It's too bad he didn't get to finish his career with Chicago.
i still rock my forte jersey
Matt Forte was a PRO.
I used to think he looked slow, until I realized how tall he is for a RB and he had a really long stride. He's 6'2" or 6'3"
No he’s not. I’m about 6’2 and I have a picture with him on the street and he’s noticeably 2-3” shorter than me
@@Dabears42069 espn, nfl, etc says he's 6'2". I'll go by them
@Dabears42069 Sure ya did. 😂😂😂
@@Dabears42069 he's listed as 6'2"
@@JoshuaBridgeman Not sure why that's so hard to believe. A longer stride means his legs aren't shuffling as quickly as someone with a short stride - Hence, why he looked _slow_ to me.
Loved this guy. Great hands, consistent, patient, great vision.
Getting that jay cutler off the screen was like catching a bullet out of a gun 😊
To soon
One of my favorites of all time. People forget how good Forte was and especially when the pass game was working, forget about it you have no chance lol.
Legendary Forte, One of the Best of the Best Indeed GO BEARS 🧡💙👑🏆🏈🐻⬇️🙌🏾
Man he was so good we had and elite offense with Bennett Jeffrey Marshall and cutler and the most underrated rb of all time
I miss watching forte
2013-14 Forte was incredibly fun to watch, even though the Bears sucked.
Brings back memories with my dad. Sunday afternoon. Go bears
One of the most underrated runningbacks ever
This video definitely seems relevant in 2024
Watching Forte run was always mesmerizing. It looked interesting because he's lankier than the prototypical RB build, but there was something so smooth about the way he ran and juked. Almost like the plays were going in slow motion yet they still couldn't stop it.
So underrated
Matt Forte mentioned in 2024 🔥🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯💯💯
This video is so random I had to make sure bruh was okay
one of the most underrated backs of all time. One of the best duel threat backs ever.
My favorite Chicago bear!!!
I'm a simple man. Thank you NFL...✊🏽🐻⬇️
So ahead of his time
Seeing this as cutler gets arrested
Oh man. Thumbs up for a great pull from the "warehouse of videos" yall got. Forte was so lethal for a minute.
Coming from a Green Bay fan he was definitely a memorable running back
The best back we’ve had since Payton.
Forte getting some shine on the NFL account!
He’s had a great year on a team that year that had aspirations, but failed to meet those expectations
Hearing the commentator say "He's leading the league in receiving yards" in the Miami game, while earlier I was like "I didn't realize just how many screen passes he caught when he played" before he said that xD the dude was just that good.
Great all around back.
Best dual threat running back to touch turf
Matt forte had a dominant career hall of famer
His cuts were wild,
I remember when I was like 15 trying to copy his cuts.
Thank you
Can’t believe he was only 204 yards away from 10k rushing
I miss him
Bears had the #2 Offense after Denver with Manning throwing 55 TDs but they had the 32nd ranked Defense that year. Finished 8-8 . Waste of a great season by Forte , Jeffery and Marshall
This video dropped because of the amount of bears fans craving content because of the bye week
6:36 man I love that block from Cutler. Jumping in like, "Lets body this guy!"
Oh frick yeah
I'm only watching this because of his cutbacks and jukes (Pittsburgh fan )
I can't believe how much he reminds me of Rochon Johnson
Forte should be in the HoF.
On this, the day of Jay Cutler's DUI
Never noticed this until now: look how often he falls forward. He gains like 2 extra yards every carry just because he rarely gets stood up
I hoped he makes it to the HOF
They ran that screen pass 60% of the time 😂
Ah. The Trestman era when we had the worst defense in the league..
Thanks to major bum Mel Tucker
I believe they guy only had like one or two fumbles in his career too
Forte definitely did enough to get his number retired. Its a shame the GM at the time let him go when Forte clearly had a few more years of excellence, he was also loyal not wanting to play for another team, unfortunately management forced him out.
Great video
If only his head coach wasn’t mark trestman..
Hell yeah
Man, Cutler sure had a gun on him
People call forte underrated, but all bears fans now of forte. Langford was underrated
8:44 Jeffery sent him to the infirmary
ngl clicked for the thumbnail
Whatever happened to this dude? Just another player in the memory bank that was solid then just completely disappeared.
He shows up from time to time. He just stays out of the spotlight more than some. Here's an interview from just a few months ago. ruclips.net/video/ZTXiRAfxAxI/видео.htmlsi=oX8eypuB61kgS_6G
They released this to honor Jay Cutler DUI day
What’s more insane is the scoreboard that showed the Bears behind almost every single play. Nice 17 yard pick up, then you look at the scoreboard and realize they were down double digits. 😂That team was horrible despite of Forte having an excellent season.

Beast! Highlights are kinda random tho? Idk maybe it's just me but you dont have to include checkdowns for 3.5 yards from 10 years ago
2014 is the year bears fans dont wanna remember.
We got this to distract from Jay Cutler getting a DUI and gun possession charge today.
Poor man’s Marshall Faulk
NFL know bears fans are hyped
No cap roshon Johnson has the same build as forte
NFL hates the Bears confirmed…

Reincarnated as Roschon Johnson
Chigago goat
2014: Best year of NFL ever
2015
2012
The 2010s in general
Better in 13 but solid RB overall
First 10 minutes are almost purely check down highlights
I was able to draft him and Peyton manning in the first and second round of fantasy and my team COOKED
Now even the nfl is doing those photoshopped clickbait thumbnails 😭😭
They put this out to hide that smoking jay just got arrested 😂
Or maybe they put it out because he did lmao
I hope DeAndre Swift watches this.
Last time bears offense was decent
He had a better year in 2013 LMAO
Why did y’all put a fumble in his “highlights”
14:10 LOL
