I recently cleaned out and donated over 500 pieces of clothing and accessories, even tho it seems I haven't made a dent! I tried to focus on my style today, not when I purchased or wore it in another life. Your channel has helped me keep this focus. On to my shoes!
After getting cancer, I suddenly went grey at an early age and was floundering for what works for me at this stage in my life. I found your channel and it's been an immense help!
Not all top models have such impeccable taste in clothing. Nikol your wardrobe is magnificent - u're one very stylish lady! Definitely the best dressed lady on RUclips. Thank u for the advice and showing us some of your favourite outfits.
Joan Rivers always said start with a blank canvas- black, white, grey, red, etc.- and build from there based on the occasion. She was always so chic and I've tried to follow that when I feel insecure or just clueless about what to wear.
I read a quote from Joan Collins which was to buy when you see it, not when you have the money. That’s such good advice. That way you’re picking up pieces you love rather than random pieces you came across when your pockets were full
Yes, Everything comes back! That's why classic ALWAYS works! I've always had luck with this. The idea to think of nail color as an accessory--love this! I'll give it a try, Nikol! Thank you!
That suit and Ferragamo red bag are everything! Loved the all black too. I get "dip" nails which hold up great for 2 weeks. "I don't think anyone is wearing tube tops anymore" - girl, you'd be surprised!
Know the feeling. Colors that were perfect when I was a “blond” don’t work with silver. However, I’ve always loved bright colors, so the muted neutrals, browns, rusty colors have made way for warm colors, and the blues, lavenders, that bring out my dark blue eyes. White and black do make me nervous as my skin tone is so pale. This channel has made such an impact on my planning my makeup to look better wearing those. So much good information and teaching.
Wow!! These are terrific tips, Nikol. Your experience as a model really shines through here. I would love more content on this topic. Perhaps elaborate on each tip separately? I would also appreciate some guidance on how to move and sit with grace, how to pose for photos as we get older, etc. You are an amazing role model. Thank you.
At last! An ‘over 50’ styling channel that suits my personal style and personality. RUclips has been suggesting several others and I was cringing at how old and frumpy most of them were. So thankful that I’m not the only mid-fifty woman, who still wears high heels and bikini’s...
My father instilled "find your own style": Keep it timely, classy, elegant & a bit edgy. Always well coiffed manicured-pedicured. Very sparingly on a trend that perhaps you love & looks great (color), accents, a stand out piece. Thank you for your vids Nikol. I need them right now.✨ 💝✨
I have a black velour pants and top set, and wear it with a PENDLETON red, black check design on cream white background, wool duster in the fall and winter. You and your channel is an inspiration...gives me ideas to get it together at 67. THANK You
I am asking myself how it's even possible I've not heard of you or seen your videos until today and I am ECSTATIC!! I am sitting here working from home and instead of watching true crime, I'm now watching you on auto-play. You are every inspiration I need in my 50+ yr old life. Thank you!!!
I love this video! I think grooming our nails is so important. It can make our hands look so youthful and pretty. I love trying new colors. People do notice our hands so much more than we think. It makes me feel good!
Enjoy the compliments you will get! Invest in a good stylist for cuts and suggestions. I was so fortunate that when I got my first cut (8 inches!) after long hair, I looked in the mirror and for the first time in my life asked if she could shorten it even more! I was 66 at the time, hated short hair on myself! Had the same cut for 8 years now. She suggested I go gray and I’ve gotten nothing but compliments. She’s my one splurge on a very limited budget.
You absolutely show that , Attitude Is Everything!! So stunning. I love my classic white linen shirt🙌🏻 I know I say this a lot, Thank You for being real, natural and showing us we can be stunning without changing our faces. I wish my grey hair sparkle was as solid as yours. 🍑🙌🏻🧡Lisa
I love your hair as much as I love Nikol's. The black with silver sparkle is stunning. Nikol also went from black to silver. Mine is a plain brown with a few straggly whites.
I am 68, have thin lips, and my bottom lips is uneven due to surgery on it 40 years ago. Nikol, thank you for being so positive and helpful to us older women! I have been watching you for 6 months and collecting your makeup, along the way. I have never worn lipstick except my wedding and my sister’s-twice in almost 70 years. This video is so beautiful!! Hacks for my lips!! A dream come true!! Love pouty lips and hope I can practice so well, I feel comfortable and confident to use lipstick everyday. Thank you, Nikol‼️
I went through a print phase a few years ago Beautiful pieces but I’ve returned to my uniform of plain pieces that are neutrals and go together seamlessly, I find accessories can add a sufficient pop of colour to elevate your outfit
Hey, Nikol! I really enjoyed this and you are gorgeous. You always are but your eyes just stand out today! Thank you for all the tips. Today has been a rough pain day and when you popped up it made me smile 😃 ❤️ I love my classic white shirt and black Leggings. Due to Autoimmune issues my nails break easily so I haven't painted them in a while.
You have literally been an angel to me … just listening to your confident wonderful videos has helped me more than you can ever imagine thank you thank you so much for taking the time to be so thorough so stylish and so elegant
Hi, I am an advanced manicurist. Free tip for everyone…. To make your polish last longer, start by cleaning your natural nail with isopropyl alcohol or fingernail polish remover, if your nails are not super clean, it can lead to chipping. Be sure that every coat you apply is thin. If you apply too thick of coats, they don’t dry, and could be a cause of chipping. In the nail business, we call it “prep and cure”
Loved all your suggestions and will give some of them a try. Question: What are you doing with your nails at this point? Are you doing it at home, going to the spa and what type of product are you using? I’ve watched your older videos on nails, but would love something current. Thanks so much for your response
Very helpful tips! I do my own nails...I love doing them myself...I feel like I am pampering myself. I've never had a manicure that I liked. One time the manicurist made ALL of my cuticles bleed! I have lots of colors and I really enjoying taking the time to choose and do my own nails.
After four years in lockdown (job loss + pandemic, now working from home), I have been wearing nothing but loungewear. My wardrobe has gathered dust. Now, with horrible body heat due to menopause, I have less incentive to dress up. Watching these videos is my only dressing pleasure... a vicarious one.
Great tips Nikol, I’m going to be cleaning out my closet today ready for our Summer season, something I do every change of seasons, if I haven’t worn it last summer then it’s time to donate it and let someone else enjoy my pieces of clothing. I’ve really become a minimalist when it comes to my clothes. Cheers from Queensland Australia 🇦🇺❤️❤️
Good morning Nikol! Love, love, love your input on style! I always think your clothes are so beautiful. You truly have a style all your own. Thank you! 💕
Nothing better then classic white shirts- all variations of! French women have always known it! Pencil skirt , trousers, jeans....heels, flats, addidas, NEVER a bad look❤️😍👏@Nikol - my newest fav is tencel fabric
Great tips Nikol! I like to use Dashing Diva nail strips. They are adhesive and glossy and last about 2 weeks on me. You stick them on and clip and file off the excess strip. I only use the solid colors, I’m going to see if they have a dupe for your gorgeous orange Hermes color! Oh you only peel them off when you want to change them so no harsh removal process.
Wow, these are all so spot on! I loved this video. You are so right about having a tailor, especially. Pictures seriously let you know if your outfit is bad and I just discovered this when I went back to all my old photos on Instagram from 2020. I was like what was I thinking? I am 43, but I still love my trends... they are important to me for reasons I don't need to share. The funniest thing to me though with trends is that 90's and early 2000 styles are and have been the hottest trends for a while now and I love it. I just don't love the super low rise pants because they were so low many cracks were seen when sitting. LOL! No thanks on that!
I have always worn classic clothes. I get bottoms in many neutral colors & can mix tops forever. taking a photo always help me not only my outfit & fit but also my weight. Oh I didnt realize how that 10 # I gained looks
Black is always classic and elegant. I love traditional and vintage clothes and have nice oieces. I just need to put effort into clothing choices in the fall/winter instead of defaulting to leggings and hiking boots - but I do walk my dog a lot. My oldest daughter has naturally strong nails (dna from her grandmother, my mom) that grow easily. She treats herself to gel manicures because they don’t chip and last 2 weeks. My youngest daughter has weak nails like mine and does dip. I can’t do either as causes damage, plus I play guitar so need to maintain short nails. Fortunately have nice nail beds, so I DIY. I don’t get quite the same professional look, but close enough. I do waste money on disappointing color choices, though. You ever get that bottle home and the color isn’t what you thought?
I love the enthusiasm you have for clothes. I’ve lost it, and I’m okay with that. It makes me smile…. when you rekindle my memory of having loved fashion. I’m so comfortable in my light gray and black sweats. Can’t wait to rush home and put them on. I know, I know…. I’ve been asked……… “Have you given up on life?” 😂😂😂😂😂…… No, absolutely NOT! Anyway…. I Enjoy watching your videos and waiting for my love of fashion to return. PS Love, love your eyebrows!!!! And you have beautiful thick hair. Keep up the great work. A fan
The advice to “take a photo of yourself” in the clothes is SO true. For some reason, we see ourselves in a mirror very differently than in a photo. (Same thing applies to a room if you’re stumped at declutterring or re-arranging). But take the picture. It only takes a few seconds, and shows much more.
Sharp necklace. Bonus tip reminded me of my grandma, she would say you should always polish your nails no matter how long your nails are, polish makes you look polished.
Thanks so much for reminding us about nails as I stare at my pitiful ones. But you’re right, when they are polished it just adds a nice zip to your look! I’ll do better!
I can't live without my white button down & little black dress. I guess you would say I am a classic girl! Haven't gone with the trends since my sophomore year of college! You always give the best advice & yes I do my own nails. Love that Fall color!
All the way from Australia Nikol and completely agree. Never be influenced by ‘current’ trends as they always cycle back.if a woman wears what she feels confident in, she shines, even track pants. Own who you are gorgeous ladies. Wish you would sell your products to Australia Nikol. I would purchase in a flash 🤞💞🥂💃
New subscriber here! So glad I found your channel. I gravitate towards a classic style too with all my pieces. I relate to a lot of what you talked about in this video. Great tips. Thank you!
Thanks for your videos they are helping me begin to find some belief in my own self image which I've learned to hate over the years. I'm nearly 70 now and still fighting it. Your tip of photography in the fitting room is excellent. I'll try that I promise.
Love the black with gold accessories. It's timeless and downright gorgeous. Tube tops !! OMGOSH ! You say they're so nineties. I say , so seventies ! We should have a thread on tube top faux pas. If anyone ever wore it, you most surely have a funny story to tell.
Hello Nikol I am from Scotland and so grateful to have found your channel. Approaching 60 I needed help and you have been an inspiration and mentor to me. I am in the process of clearing out my overflowing wardrobes of item I don't wear and have no continuity or versatility. Through your example I am now creating a very slimmed down wardrobe of timeless classic styles that can mix and match and create new styles just by accessorising. I am addicted to your channel and I think you are incredible. Thanks so much for helping me find my way, style and class as I approach my 60th birthday. I feel empowered. All thanks to you 👌😁❤
You are so pretty in this video! I mean you are always stunning, but your are even more stunning! I also love the way you did this video, the close ups and tighter cuts.
You are absolutely gorgeous, you have great style, I love the 2 piece suit. I would have worn something like that when I worked 👏👍 have a great day ♥️🥰
As a DIYer for nails, have you looked at the RUclips videos from The Salon Life? All about natural manicures, polish, health of nails, curing nail problems, etc. Also, science backs the analyses of problem nails and solutions. Great channel.
I've only just discovered you, since though I have sort of binged on a few videos, mostly on make up, so fab for my age and really helped me with various conundrums about how to go forward but now fab advice on clothes too, YAY! Just a big thank you from me.💖🤘
A question if I may? Your eyeshadow shade on this video, is it a mauve or grey?? Love this styling type vlog, I'm over 70 but those tips apply. I have a massive amount of clothing but can never find anything to wear plus tend to be a beige black white and khaki dresser .Over years have brought items spur of the moment but never wear them as hate to draw attention to myself. Love the splashes of colour you wore just beautiful, the black outfits. Simply stunning. Such a classy elegant yet down to earth woman you are. Greetings from Australia, going to be doing some serious wardrobe downsizing starting tomorrow.
I have gone looking for a button down white shirt in the past, and had to go to quite a few stores before I found one! Yep, one in the whole store and not my size! I finally gave up! Suggestions as to where to look if you are on a limited budget? Thank you.
For something simple, how about menswear? Usually better fabric and construction for the same price. Who cares which side the buttons are on. If the buttons gape over the breast a tailor/seamstress can put an inside snap to fix that. Worth checking out
Check on line with Amazon, Walmart and some other jobbers I have seen some lovely, drapey shirts some more tailored most under 50$ and usually just over 24$ plus tax and shipping and there you are! Zulilly has charming dresses I got terrific slippers worth 30 for 10$! Wear them daily they look charming! But I found blouses when I was a little broke so I promised them I’d be back! I also will love to have a white shirt!

You look gorgeous and classy always! So weird you say take a picture of yourself...just yesterday I got casual dressed up and thought I looked great (new cashmere sweater)...went to a 9/11 ceremony where pics were taken...yikes....thanks for the tip!
Wonderful tips! I have ugly hands and very thin fragile nails so I hate that some people think those things are so important. I get it though -have heard it many times throughout my life. I remember when I was in the 7th grade and a girl I that sat in front of me every day in class felt the need to tell me that I had the ugliest hands she’d ever seen so you know at over 50, they’ve not improved with time lol despite my best efforts. Depressing but I am grateful to have hands. They work and life would be very difficult without them, ugly as they are!
I hear what you're saying.. we're so hard on ourselves as women, I know I've always been embarrassed of my wide feet... so for me I'm always happy when fall comes around so I can get back to wearing flats, sneakers or closed toed shoes. Cheers to you Chris, you're beautiful in all the right places, I'll bet. 😘
I also have thin nails, which don’t grow very well and my fingers look short and stubby. So I started getting acrylic nails years ago and I put a nude color on them, so it makes my fingers look longer. Now I am proud to show my hands.
I know it saves money. I’m pushing 70 and most of my friends have passed or moved states away. My friend has her own one person operation and does permanent make up too. I go because she has been a dear friend for 30 years. It’s more Ike a social outing for me. The same with my hairdresser. He has done my hair from back in the day when I was a patrol officer working my way up the ranks. I guess most people would think my social life is lacking, but I find it very fulfilling with a small group of friends. I do miss the great dinner parties we would have. I paint now and have a rescue bunny. I have my own little business of creating one of a kind pieces and only advertise by word of mouth. Watching all you videos from hair to make up to how to dress has been a big help for me recover my lost self ever since the Covid 19and vaccine lies; I love all the products and makeup you have showcased . I’ve learned to dress for my style and my age. I even cut off 12 inches of brown thick Italian hair I styled it.short Bob and went heavy blondeproperly. The hubby said I look younger and more comfortable in my own skin than I have the last 10 years,(❤
I recently cleaned out and donated over 500 pieces of clothing and accessories, even tho it seems I haven't made a dent! I tried to focus on my style today, not when I purchased or wore it in another life. Your channel has helped me keep this focus. On to my shoes!
Omg .... donated 500 pieces and havent made a dent yet !!!????
You own a clothing store ? Just kidding 😁
😂😂😂
I wish I could have been there. I am sure it was a great event!
I have been sending box after box of the same things to Thred Up it is a journey lol
I take my clothes to a charity that sells them really cheap. I love imagining someone finding my treasures that are now too big
After getting cancer, I suddenly went grey at an early age and was floundering for what works for me at this stage in my life. I found your channel and it's been an immense help!
Hi Nikol! Dressing classy has always been my mantra. Trends go away but class is forever!

Not all top models have such impeccable taste in clothing.
Nikol your wardrobe is magnificent - u're one very stylish lady!
Definitely the best dressed lady on RUclips.
Thank u for the advice and showing us some of your favourite outfits.
Thank you
I like the examples you’ve shown and the way you strut your stuff. Reminds me to work it, own it, stand up straight.

My father instilled "find your own style":
Keep it timely, classy, elegant & a bit edgy.
Always well coiffed manicured-pedicured.
Very sparingly on a trend that perhaps you love & looks great (color), accents, a stand out piece.
Thank you for your vids Nikol. I need them right now.✨ 💝✨

I've been doing Lip Injections since 2013. I'm 67. I get a Block and cream. Almost painless. Best Beauty procedure for me 😊
I really wish my lips were a little fuller, I refuse to get injections or plastic surgery so I always appreciate lip tips.
I just love you! By being fun, confident, gorgeous, and hip - you always make me feel beautiful!
I went through a print phase a few years ago

Excellent advice! Thank you!
You are killing it with that black jumpsuit! You make over 50 look fantastic!
A professional manicure is hard to duplicate at home but I understand about the chipping. That is why I like Shellac process. It lasts 2 weeks.
Yes, although Shellac contains some chemicals that can be toxic to some people, e.g. acrylates. Same with false eyelashes or lash extensions.
My tailor is me😀
That necklace is gorgeous on you. You are rocking it! And the black silky dress with the duster and belt ... AMAZING!!!

Sharp necklace. Bonus tip reminded me of my grandma, she would say you should always polish your nails no matter how long your nails are, polish makes you look polished.
You are so right! Thank you very much! And you look so beautiful in everything!😍
Thank you
I also do my own mani. And thanks for the tips. I'm in agreement. You have to add something that's a show stopper sometimes. God bless.
The joy of sewing! I love buying things that I know I can adjust!!
Thank you for the tips! You are so elegant, love it!
OMG I love all your videos esp your style !! Amazing ....thank you so much ! Much love from Canada xoxoxo
Love the black with gold accessories. It's timeless and downright gorgeous.
Tube tops !! OMGOSH ! You say they're so nineties. I say , so seventies !
We should have a thread on tube top faux pas. If anyone ever wore it, you most surely have a funny story to tell.
Hello Nikol
I am from Scotland and so grateful to have found your channel. All thanks to you 👌😁❤
My grandmother was my tailor! She was amazing!
You are so pretty in this video! I mean you are always stunning, but your are even more stunning! I also love the way you did this video, the close ups and tighter cuts.
You have such an amazing taste and style. You are the only person I follow when it comes to fashion and style advice. Thanks!
YOU ARE STUNNING! Elegant and classy never goes out of style. You in the black on black and your hair back.Wow!
I love your look ⭐️ I enjoy your channel!
I always default to a full black outfit for a night out it makes me feel more confident 🖤🖤
E eu também. Aliás, amo roupas pretas que podemos combinar com inumeros assessórios.
Great video. I always seem tto gravitate towards fuschia. I love how it looks on me and I get lots of compliments.
Thanks Nikol for the great tips!
Nikol you have great style.
Great tips! Thanks, Nicole. 😊
Thank you so much
You are absolutely gorgeous, you have great style, I love the 2 piece suit. I would have worn something like that when I worked 👏👍 have a great day ♥️🥰
Would love to see a video of how to dress a fit 60,s body!
They were great tips.
Just a big thank you from me.💖🤘
Your videos are helping me to accept my grey hair and be proud of it. ❤❤❤
The floral suit looks so very lovely
Once you're over 50, same tips apply whether you're 50 or 70.
Simple black
I have gone looking for a button down white shirt in the past, and had to go to quite a few stores before I found one! Yep, one in the whole store and not my size! I finally gave up! Suggestions as to where to look if you are on a limited budget? Thank you.
I agree here. Can never find the right one...if find any!

Yes! Same. When I see myself in photos it doesn’t match up to the image I have in my head. I will be taking photos in dressing rooms from now on.
Photos look NOTHING like the mirror after 50. That's why I don't take photos anymore and avoid people with cameras.
What do you wear around the house .
I also have thin nails, which don’t grow very well and my fingers look short and stubby. So I started getting acrylic nails years ago and I put a nude color on them, so it makes my fingers look longer. Now I am proud to show my hands.
Classic is me - keep hearing comments that black on black isn't flattering for mature women - but I love it -
Hello, how are you doing today?
The hubby said I look younger and more comfortable in my own skin than I have the last 10 years,(❤
Thank you for that. You are a god send!😘😊
