- This easy 1.16 Minecraft Super Smelters is super easy to build and uses an automatic fast furnace array to cook / smelt your items in SECONDS!
You can make this super easy / simple redstone design any size you want to speed it up even more! I recommend using 8 to start. This video will teach you how to build a super smelter in minecraft 1.16! automatic furnaces / auto smelters / furnace arrays are just another term for super smelters and fast furnaces

I don’t think that wood farm works anymore, tried it a month ago but, I might of built it wrong
Hello, having a problem that hopper minecart only fills first 6 furnaces due to amount of items it picks up from chest each time, how can I fix this?
@@FinnGambits I’d recommend Iskals design, but with the bamboo farm on he’s use a automatic one without zero tick!
@@jace2013 I might check that out but I fixed mine now. I inset the rail so that when the hopper minecart passes underneath the chest its there for 2 blocks not 1 meaning it now picks up 18 blocks each time instead of the previous 6. I still think that makes it unbalanced but at least all the furnaces get filled now.
This tutorial is AMAZING! No bullshit like "Here's what we're making today", you read the title, so let's get started. Simple design, the shaders look awesome, the resource list is a great touch, you explain it well and pace brilliantly. Best guide I've seen in a while, hope soon more people realize that and sub like I just have!
Its so simple, and fast. Other tutorials would be like "HEY guys, you clicked on this video because you thought BLAH BLAH BLAH", this tutorial just jumps right into it.

Note for Bedrock players - Hopper Minecarts will suck up items from everywhere and you'll have problems. Swap them (and the double chest) for a minecart with chest.
Thx, man. This really helped! Yea, hopper minecarts in bedrock Suck...literally
Thanks 🙏
when the ore is smelted it doesn't go into the chest it just stays in the bottom hopper.. im on bedrock. any tips?
I don’t get it how am I supposed to swap a double chest for a minecraft with a chest are you sure you wrote that right
@@justdrafty7230 i followed the same tutorial but the 2 chests where you put the fuel and items in you can replace with a minecart with a chest. you can leave the double chest the same where all of the finished items go in.
This is honesty amazing. Bout to make this so long and get a stack of smelted things in like 10 seconds.
Nice!
Why one stack in 10 seconds? Why not...5?
The only limit its the smelting speed
dont make it too long, if ur gonna do that make sure u make it long enough that when the cart comes back, it just fills up the next itsm to the furnace...any more speed than that ur gonna wanna build more parallel rails
There is a limit to how long it goes. But still a great design
I can not describe how much I love it when a RUclipsr gets straight to the point, and makes a short yeat neat, and not complicated video, thank you so much
The size limit for this would have to be 25 furnaces though as otherwise, it would exceed the hopper extraction speed (hopper speed = 9000 items/h, 150/m, 1 furnace = 6 items/m, 150/6=25 furnaces)
?
@@L0serMan_ you can only make it 25 furnaces long otherwise it will stop working
Yea but you can make more lines of then close to each other
then its time for a new one
if the first wasnt enough
Loving the jazz bgm and the no-extra-bullshit tutorial-you deserve way more subs.
Just a little request: whether it's in the video or description, could you let us know whether you're building in Java or Bedrock and (if you know) whether your builds will work in one or the other or both? 🙏🏽

Fairly good and simple design! A word of caution, though: if you tend to smelt items in batches larger than 5 stacks, the minecarts don't suck out of the chest fast enough to fill every furnace. This means you'll end up only using about 5 or 6 furnaces after a few minutes, significantly decreasing the usefulness of the furnace array. I'd recommend adding either a long delay to the powered rails under your input chests or a bit of extra redstone to check that your chests are filled enough before sending them back out. Overall good tutorial, though!
Best tutorial I’ve ever watched! No BS. Just straight to the point, easy to understand and explained why you did certain things when necessary.
for those making this exact replica, this is all this stuff you need:
10 chests
27 hoppers
9 furnaces
14 blocks of choosen
6 powered rails
20 rails
2 blocks of redstone
2 hopper mincarts
1 lever
for those who also need more proper resource count here is what you need to make all of these items above
79 Oak Log
167 Iron Ore
173 Coal
73 Cobblestone
6 Gold Ore
19 Redstone Dust
and the blocks of choosen are not included because i really dont care :}}
hope this helps
You would need 1 chest for each hopper and hopper minecraft and 2 logs for each chest.
So 10 chests plus 27 hoppers plus 2 hopper minecarts equals 39 chests and some iron.
39 chests equals 78 logs.
Feel free to correct me if I am wrong. I'm not trying to be rude. I'm literally about to use this right now.
Nevermind I just realized you need the extra log for the sticks used for the rails and the lever

I really appreciate the material list for this. Usually with tutorials there either isn't a material list or there is but only for the size that the person making the tutorial is building. I also like how simple it is!
Thank you so much, this video isn't dragged out and it allows for customization. You are amazing.
thank you for just making the tutorial instead of having 2 minutes of preamble and a 3 minute outro

This is an amazing guide channel. It looks very modern (which I like), and Mysti does an amazing job explaining the tutorials. 10/10.
Omg, it actually works! Thank you this was so useful in a survival server I'm in! No more manual smelting! THANK YOU AGAIN MYSTICAT!
Dude, I see great value in this video.
is there any way you could do a quick tutorial on how to build the fully automatic and clean version of these which you showed at the end?! It would be awesome to know how you did it and that if it would work on the bedrock edition!
I think I know, not really sure yet, but use comparators, their very nifty
Thank you so much for this. Short and sweet and you get right into it. Every yt vid should be like this
man after i saw this heck of a tutorial i had to write a comment,
i LOVED it how you had no filler, just straight to the tutorial, i think this is a definite sub! I also loved how easy it is to follow 2!
im so ass at redstone and i thought this was a waste of a bunch of my iron on my hardcore world so i tested it on a creative world and oh my god this is amazing thank you so much
i have a giant potato farm and i get 4 stacks of potatoes on harvest and i hate putting them in manually. this is seriously awesome you are so underrated
pfft foolish, my minecraft potato farm has an output of 2,4k potatoes
I personally use chest minecarts. The reason why I don't like hopper minecarts is it doesn't equally distribute whatever you are smelting if you put a lot of items in the double chests. That results in a longer time to smelt. You could add in a delay where the hopper minecart picks up items to fix this problem, but I like to keep it simple. AlsoI usually don't need to smelt more then 27 stacks, so that's why I opt for the chest minecarts.
How would this work with chest minecarts?
Excellent tutorial, exactly what I was looking for and straight to the point!
This is still the best tutorial for this build, thank you! I've been using it for a few years now, always works.
Thank you for making a tutorial with no filler and bs. Makes it so much nicer to watch!
it has shaders
Just a quick tip for those who are trying to make it longer by alot, for you not to keep switching the levers on and off to let the minecart refill, just put a chest at the other end aswell so that it spreads evenly and fill the chests with the same amount on both sides
great tutorials, i love how you get straight to the point. subbed!
man, straight to the point and it still works on 1.18. big thanks man. you earned a sub

This is straight to the point without any bs. It works perfectly, I did a smaller version (because I can’t fork up that much iron lmao). It even works on bedrock!
Nice tutorial mysticat, can’t wait to build this in my survival world!!! Can’t wait to pvp you again😉😻
Thanks!
This is a super easy tutorial and really quick and efficient thank you soooo much
Quick, straight to the point and easy to follow tutorial. 11/10
hopper 27, rail 20, block of your choice 14, smoker/blast furnace/furnace 9, chest 6, powered rail 6, block of redstone 20, lever 1 (the amount of things you need to do this if you follow this exactly
thank you mysticat this is awesome
Thank you for this! But also you added an extra 0 at the end of redstone 2 lol
For minecraft bedrock players you dont have to switch the Minecraft hoppers with chests. All you have to do i move the double chest for fuel away from the items you want to smelt and place the lever to where they both activate. But youll need two levers and another redstone block but its an easy fix.
Works very well! I'd say it's impossible to complain. Thanks for making!
This was very helpful! I just built a refinery within the nether of my minecraft world for the first time after watching this and it came out perfectly, smelts 4 raw ores at a great speed because I used blast furnaces instead of regular furnaces
Can u make this with the chest collection system which is with water elevators? Cuz i dont see the design video in the end
This works well, to a point, but if the fuel hopper minecart ever runs dry, then it will start pulling items out of the upper chest, from which you would put your items to be smelted. I went with another commenter's suggestion to use hoppers with chests in place of the hopper minecarts, which seems to work much better.
Yeah that makes sense. And fill them directly with what you need
Definitely going to increase my production rate, thanks for the upload.
You deserve a subscribe tbh, straight to the point, fast, understandable. Thank you !
Hey yall, got a slight problem with this. The input chest doesn't seem to pass down items into the hopper cart. It's not a major deal because I can just place the items directly into the hopper cart but does anyone know a fix to this?
could you do a tutorial on the design you show at the end of the video
Thanks for this tutorial! It was easy to understand and follow. It worked flawlessly on the first time. Will definitely make it again.

i remembered these monster automatic furnance , complicated , but this? easy build, very good, and you dont even need much space.

To anyone else who’s having the problem with the top minecart draining into the bottom. It’s because hoppers drain to the right so follow the tutorial but move the collection station and starting position to the right of the build and it should fix the issue
I tried but still this problem again
Need a supersmelter to smelt a Iron But had to smelt It in a bad smelter because the supersmelter needed all of my iron🤣

Nice tutorial, straight to the point and effective. Thanks!
on bedrock the trick is to put two levers and extend the top track where the chest r or else it sucks up from the wrong chest
when I tried to put the last two rails on the chest side they linked up and I thought that was a problem I had and not Mysticat, but then I realized I paused to early.
Literally just happen to me
This was an excellent tutorial. Clear, straightforward, easy to follow. Thank you! I'm now gathering coal to test if I've built it right :-)
Easily the simplest super smelter. Thank you, and it works great
Love the tutorial, i did have an issue where my fuel hopper would fill up from the ore one though. I extended the top track by one and it stoped this. Idk if anyone else had that issue. And sometimes the bottom cart would get glitched into the stopper block.
But all in all best guide ive seen so far love the vids. Took me a long time to see em tho
Just listen carefully

Here is what another person said :
Note for Bedrock players - Hopper Minecarts will suck up items from everywhere and you'll have problems. Swap them (and the double chest) for a minecart with chest.
What I did was replace the coal hopper minecart with a chest minecart and moved the coal chest up one block and placed a hopper underneath to funnel the coal to the chest minecart

Thank you so much this is my first super smoky it was a bit confusing at first but it all worked out
Efficient, simple, cheap, and fast. Love this!
That was so simple but took my hours to build. Let me explain: My minecart with hooper didn't work. I tried everything i found in internet but it didn't work again. I built that in a Skyblock server. Server deletes all items and entities for every 2-3 minutes. Whatever and everything was okay so far but minecart is an entity too. Then I renamed the minecarts and finally they don't dispawn. But my hooper minecarts were still not working. And I finally understood why its not working. We can lock our chests, furnaces, hoopers (etc.) by using a sign. And that sign prevents other people from stealing your items. But because of that sign minecart hooper won't feed anything to the hoopers. Than I realised that. In the final a system we can build in 10-20 minut
es, became 2 hours to me.
Hi, cool video!
If I may ask, what Shader and what Texture / Resource Pack are you currently using?
Same thing happening to me
i think i see a part of vanilla tweaks, its found here, you can pick which parts you want from it, one of which being the arrow on the sides of hoppers showing direction. vanillatweaks.net/picker/resource-packs/

Whenever I build this, the items in the top minecart get loaded into the bottom minecart for some reason. Any way to fix this?
AMAZING SHORT TUTORIAL THAT WORKS WONDERS. GOOD JOB!
Great video!! Simple, short, quick, and easy to follow!! Small tip for people that want to smelt many many stacks of items, use minecart chests with hoppers under the inputs!
Edit: I just now realized that the minecarts will fill them selves up after they empty so the minecart chest wont be necessary.
is this still work on 1.17 ?
my minecart only transfer fuels & staffs to top “six” furnace, the others doesn’t have any staff to burn
lol I mistaked the hopper minecart with the chest minecart and I was raging for like an hour.
why its not work?
ya 2 grs of pain trying to make it i did it but it drops off evrythikng in the first 6 furnesses though
This is amazing and helped me better than my other older design
This is an absolute game changer! Thanks so much!
I. Made this but the stuff I put In the top chest goes straight into the bottom hopper through the top mincart
Same
What if you want to smelt more than five stacks (the minecart hopper capacity) but the minecart doesn't have time to fill up to distribute the remaining items into the furnaces? Where only the first few furnaces get the items. Like if you're smelting seven stacks or more of cobble, once the minecart distributes the first five stacks, it only stops at the chest for less than one second and only picks up about six or so items. So only the first six or so furnaces will get the items before the minecart runs out. It makes the smelter less efficient because this will happen for the fuel too, meaning only the first six or so furnaces will receive any items and will be the only working furnaces after the first five or so stacks are distributed.
AT THESE TIMES I SUGEST YOU turn off the lever to refill the hoppers
any solution
Did you find a solution? Have the same problem.
@@Chris0612 yeah you’d have to make a comparator run out of the input chest to make the minecart stop when it is empty
Good Job on the auto smelter and I LOVE IT!!!!
this tutorial is AMAZING, i actually watch a tutorial similar like this but, they didn't mention about the powered rail connecting together and it was SUPER ANNOYING, and i just blew the super smelter to a million pieces, until now i watch your tutorial and FINALLY THE POWERED RAIL ISN'T CONNECTED TO EACH OTHER, and it finally worked, i just wanna say thank you for making this video because i smelt a lot of this for big projects in my survival hardcore world. and thank you again for making this video
When I spit stone iron or any block they go to the hopper that’s for smelting even tho I followed every thing correctly
Same
Same for me as well
So the way I fixed it was by moving the collection station and starting position to the right side, which puts the bottom minecart to the left of the top not allowing it to drain
