Many years ago when entity stacking was relatively new, a friend of mine tried to summon a villager riding a horse. They got the structure backward, and instead summoned a horse riding a villager. Attempting to load the chunk where this reversed cavalry roamed would instantly crash the game. Eventually we made a fenced off exclusion zone around the area which would load it. I guess we sort of invented a cryptid too horrible to be known? Regardless, the point is there may be some additional power in simple entity corruptions rather than spamming complex ones.

On Modrinth, you can sort the Shaders by performance Impact. When you do this, the first 4 Shaders that show up are Rethinking Voxels, Bliss, Noble, and Ark.
I'm pretty sure an auto clicker would be slightly more efficient than holding down a letter key, as you can set most auto clickers to click every millisecond. This is me assuming there would be a slight cooldown between 'clicks' when holding down a letter key as opposed to an auto clicker. As I said, I am assuming, so I haven't actually tested it myself. I just use an auto clicker because at the very least it would be the same as holding a key down.

I'm not entirely sure if this would work, but what about summing creepers with 127 explosion radius and 0 fuse on all entities? I'm pretty sure that would make all of those drop items for all the blocks they break, which would make the rate of increase even faster. (I haven't tested it though, so the creepers might just blow up eachothers items, or maybe they just don't drop items at all at that radius idk)
R9 5950x + RTX 2070S is still a really good combo, but it's not the best PC, + there is a bit of gpu bottleneck, but there is in every pc, so that's not an issue. The problem is that it's not the best computer as many of you may think. You can spawn a load of elder guardian particles for one player only if you want to crash one person specifically. Feel free to use this because it's apparently working as intended, so Mojang won't fix it. Also, if you let the crash fully play out (takes around a minute to 5 minutes), the game will say it ran out of memory.
while it might have not seemed like it, the tnt test and the minecart test were probably the hardests ones for your machine. it didn't look convincing because the metric chosen (fps) did not accurately represent the damage being done (tps would've been more representative). in summary: the sand, tnt and minecart tests affected the server and the armor stand and effect cloud affected the client (armor stands don't take a lot of resources when resting on the ground and don't collide with other entities. effect clouds are even worse at lagging since they don't even process momentum) the actual fastest way is to cause a ClassCastException with a redstone component on a version older than 1.20.2 (search shulker box update supression for more about this)
In a similar vein to the armor stand trick, you can also do this: Place down a repeating command block and put in the following command: /execute at @e[type=arrow] run summon arrow ~ ~ ~ Then fire an arrow using a Bow, and watch your game instantly crash!
there is a fast way to crash minecraft that i know of , its called : opening a world that is corrupt because of a removed mod / opening a world with exactly 98604 bees ( stuck in a single block with a vine ) , & 9842 large chests full with shulker boxes of written books

I'm guessing there's a hard cap on lit TNT entities? That version has a fairly low hard cap on other entity types. I remember the explosions being limited enough for the console to keep pushing frames, though I don't remember if it was 20 or 2 FPS.

I looked at your specs from the task manager and the f3 menu and couldn't figure out how a 2070 and an R9 5950x plus 32 gigs of ram could cost anywhere near that much. And then the game was loading to remove the shaders. And then it was loading… and then it was still loading. All the while my computer was getting louder, and louder, and still louder. Eventually, after a long time of waiting, finally… My entire house lost power And then as soon as it was done and my computer stopped screaming, it turned back on
I actually recently figured out the answer to this very question not to long ago while working on a mod I’ve been making, all you have to do is make a “while” statement and forget to modify the value of the variable it’s working off of so it just keeps looping on and on and on forever spawning particles on the exact same in-game tick forever… or more likely until the game runs out of local memory and crashes spectacularly!!! XP lol IDK, just thought it was pretty funny when I eventually figured out what was wrong, so I thought I’d share! :p hehe

My go to crash is `/execute as @e as @e run summon shulker`. It only takes about 5-10 executions to destroy any world, so I typically use a repeating command block.
Go in 'Debug Mode' and stand on any pressure plate in the grid of blocks (To access debug mode hold shift and click through world types) Edit: this basically clicks the pressure plate, then because it is clicked it gets broken and replaced with a non-pressed one, thus summoning 1 pressure plate item per game tick, I believe roughly 20 times per second.
The modpack "Fabulously Optimized" shows how much room there is for optimizing the game. I could actually run the game at 60 fps at decent settings inatead of before where I was stuck with around 30 at almost minimum settings.
Making TNT worlds in 1.20.6 or 1.21 and making them explodes is actully less weird. Probably do to many reasons like the java 21 xD. Anyway awesome video :)

It also allows for the shader to run, so… kinda increased the load more than the efficiency helped

Key word: was a guy, which means HE IS STILL A GUY, saying you want to be trans doesn’t change anything. If you aren’t happy with your gender then you should just deal with it. Don’t get why people make it such a big deal, just stay who you are, not who you aren’t
