I have a 1965 quarter copper nickel mix that has a stress fracture that goes from the top of the coin to the bottom on the backside
Can i get your help on a coin. I cant find it as an error from 1955..
Stuff like this is why I check EVERY coin that passes through my hands. The only odd coins I have found are a floating roof cent and a cracked die cent...along with a small handful of die chip wheat cents. Always informative. Happy new year Daniel.

Yes, l've found quarters from 65, 66 and 67 with thick lettering. I wasn't sure if l was actual doubling, but you cleared that up. Thanks.

@Coinhelpu I just dumped $300 worth of quarters and a lot of 60s through 90s. Should have kept them. What I need to know is what you think of silver eagles from JMBullion

That really great information on double dye and fabulous explanation on mistaken identity of them because of damage do to circulation . I found this video most important because it not only applies to silver coins like quarters but also the lincoln cents the circulation problems are the same

@Paul Bruney I recently purchased a scope through amazon it’s a Koolertron 7 inch screen HD LCD
It was about $120 with shipping so far I’m very happy with it

@Paul Bruney yes is the short answer. It comes with a usb cord. There can be a battery ordered separately also. I don’t have a computer and use my I phone charger connection and that seems to work just fine for me.
There are a lot of options on amazon for these scopes this one fit my budget and I’m definitely impressed with it I do like the 7 inch screen too.

I just found a 1934 Double Die. Pretty worn though but easy to see it. I’ll post a pick in the help community soon and ask some advice one selling or possibly grading it.

It came from the mint directors estate then they sold them off. No one just found them. Why can’t you do some research and stop thinking you have a set. You’re just harassing me. Take your coins or send them to an expert. Why do you need validation from me? Jees.

I have a 1964 SMS in mint state...it's a beautiful coin..for sale..
You do not have a 1964 SMS coin, unless it's labeled as such in a PCGS, CAC or NGC holder. You have a proof but not an SMS, you can't just get them, buy them or find them.
I notice that ring mark on that 1965. I have got a handful of those at work at the register...

Is it true that the 1977 no mint mark quarter is valueable?
No it is not, the Philadelphia Mint didn't put mint marks on quarters until 1980, so if you see one without a mint mark it was struck there.
If so I have kept all 60s and 70s for 5 years have a pile of them.😊

What about the information about a 1964 sms Lincoln cent graded by PCGS as SP67 RD..and sold in an auction for 15,600.
It was NOT found or bought from the US mint. The sets were in a mint directors home after she died, since then they have been auctioned off. So they sell at auction now. You can’t find a set and could never buy a set from the mint. Keep it up and I will just block you from the channel.

That 1970-D FS-101 was found in a Roll of 1965 and later coins purchased from a Dealer in Auburn CA that needed to raise some money after being Burglarized of all his Silver. Undergraded at an AU55 IMO.
