The Cyber Truck is what I wanted but not at the introduction price. I dont need to be first, I have a habit of buying the last, the Last manual GTS, the Last Carrera S Naturally Aspirated engine so I will wait and see.
This car has also ventilated/cooled seats, which became only available in the 2024 version. It is a big feature. You can switch it on by taping to the temperature. A whole new screen will come up where you can adjust the AC. To switch off the AC you need to hold your finger for a few sec in the temperature number. You also do not need to set the AC to 'auto' you can switch it off by unselecting the 'auto' in the AC screen. But the biggest surprise for you maybe that you do not have Autopilot , but FSD ( Full Self Driving supervised) as I see in the video. That's why it was able to make the right turn. This means this car can drive all around in the city, it will recognize the traffic lights, stop signs, and will pay attention to pedestrians. Everything. But you need to supervise it for the whole drive. If you have 12.4 or older version you do not need to touch the wheels either only just pay attention to the road. You can also set your smart phone as the key. Enjoy it! You need to try the performance version because it is even more faster . It is only 8-10K more expensive .
Another trick is that you have to always be looking forward so the autopilot works best. You can slightly by-pass the interruption of the autopilot(if you aren't looking straight) with sunglasses.
The new car you are driving in the video has Full Self Driving (supervised), or FSD for short. You mentioned driving a Tesla at some time in the past that ran a stop sign while on autopilot. The thing to point out is that Tesla Autopilot and Tesla FSD are two very different things. Autopilot is not much more than an ordinary cruise control. It maintains the car in its lane and it maintains speed and/or distance behind other cars. It DOES NOT stop at red lights or stop signs. On the other hand, FSD does all of the navigating and driving. It is not perfect yet so it requires an attentive driver to occasionally prevent awkward moments or unsafe situations.
Enjoy the new Tesla. I got a 2024 Dual Motor Model 3 as well. Superb car. One pedal driving is the best. If you put the Tesla app on your phone you can enable it as a phone key so that both you and your gf no longer need to use the key card to open and drive the car You can have the app on both of your phones, your gf just authorises you as a phone key user from the Security & Drivers section of the app 👍🏻 I take it you’ve seen the interior ambient light strip as well which you can change colours, it goes around the interior of the car. Enjoy
The 2023 Model 3 didn't have a rear screen. The 2023 also didn't have the ambient light strip. Spend some time going through all of the menus and setting screens. You don't use Neutral for a car wash, well, you do, but there is an actual 'car wash mode' that also locks the charging door and I think some other things. Every time you get an update you will see blue dots or rectangles in front of the settings sections, like 'Navigation' that will alert you to changes. Very important to look through these to make sure new things are set to your liking.
so if you have FSD v12.5 or newer, there shouldnt be a nag anymore. the interior camera will check your head and eyes position. if you look at your phone or away from the road, then it will send a nag to remind you to stay focus. if you keep your eyes on the road, you shouldn't need to touch the wheel anymore
Charging via the 120v outlet is going to put on 4-5 miles of range per hour. The 220v is the way to go. Porches are great but I will pass on all of the maintenance costs.
One pedal driving requires you to learn how to ease off the accelerator slowly as opposed to jumping over to the brake pedal. The Model 3 Performance will be slightly faster than your new Porsche off the line. Loving your new Porsche 911, it's a beauty.
Congrats on the car. #1 you shouldn't charge over 80% unless you are going on a long trip. #2 - Get a 240v charger, 120v is too slow. Have fun. Get a Tesla.
Damn, I wanted to see more of her reaction with FSD 🤣🤣
Her reactions were hilarious - loved it!!!
you need a 240 v outlet (dryer outlet) it charges over 25 miles per hour... and try changing the screen to dark mode
🎯💯
I would avoid the Cybertruck for now, since there's too many early production problems with it. Hopefully the will sort it out.

We are gone work on them audio skills. Let's start with just any microphone. Any is the model we are looking for. Thanks.
The car price is actually 45k including tax and fees along with $7500 rebates. So the actual price is 52k
its exciting to see you discovering the tesla! you should take the new performance for a test drive!
He will be ADDICTED to the performance one it's an absolute monster of a car for it's price
Fun watching newbies behind FSD. Let's see more of that!

May, was reading and schooled me about the car was mode. Thank you for watching!

You can turn down the regen.. go to settings, look for “Chill “ ….
Test drive a performance model 3 … you’ll definitely sell the Porsche…🤪
They chill option made it way more easy to enjoy driving.
Very fun video. Do more, please
Don’t forget you bought a four wheeled robot with Artificial intelligence for 38,000 not bad.
I recommend to you not to change your tesla with a power cord...is a lot better and safer connected to a outlet or ever better to a 240 outlet
It may be in your best interest just to call an electrician and have them install the Tesla charger near the front of your garage.
Congrats on the car. #1 you shouldn't charge over 80% unless you are going on a long trip. #2 - Get a 240v charger, 120v is too slow. Have fun. Get a Tesla.
Thanks for the tips!
Ya get the 240v charger and don't use a regular extension cord, it overheats easier and you will get less charging
Yea, it might have been smarter to install the 240 before buying the car, but it charges and it is always ready to go, so it does work.
Drive with the cameras in reverse
Wait until you drive the Model 3 Performance..😉
You can use the scroll wheel as well re nags
