You know what would be really cool. If Turn10 could fix the glitch when you upgrade your car and it doesn't apply then you have to force close the game and replay the last race you just finished....
Just do a race, when you finish the laps exit out to the main menu. Main menu is an auto save. There is a save icon whenever to exit to main menu. (Yes it’s dumb, the game should autosave after a race is completed.)
It also happens sometimes when buying a car.... Same thing just happened to me ASWELL where my progress didn't save just after I closed the game then opened it up a few minutes later... but this time it was 2 races of progress behind smh.@@AudatiousXtreme
Thank you. This is how every carpg should be played. Through class races and then all the other series should be after. Its a simple formula that doesnt ever need to be changed in career mode for any racing game.
Totally agree, had started a new series, bought the car and did this for a bit before even doing the series. You get car levels, driving and track practice all in one go.
Been doing this since day 1. Ive always loved rivals in all the forza games. I like using the underdog cars and beating as many rival times as i can. Ex for me in past forzas was using the old school charger or daytona and getting in the top 20 leaderboards on rivals.
This is literally exactly what I've been doing as well! Sure I've been doing some career but slowly, been having tons and tons of fun using whatever cars I think are cool and upgrading and tuning them to make em as fast as possible
This is exactly what I have been doing the last few days. By driving the same track over and over again, you also delevop a good understanding of how to tune and upgrade the car. It is hard to tell the small differences if you constantly change tracks. After that it's time for some multiplayer action, of course!
Literally you are 100% correct! In my opinion doing this is a really, really good way to get better at certain tracks as well as get used to how the tuning will effect a car once you properly learn a track
just go in rivals. select your track, i recommend old le mans, then go to the settings and turn on fully assisted. start the race and put down the controller for 2hours and voila. during the the race you can bring up the friction menu by going dpad down and then d pad right once to access friction menu and leave it there so u not prompted to touch the controller.
Thank you so much for adding in the part about going to the friction menu and that'll help you not need to touch the controller!! I might make a new video showing that if anyone doesn't know it already
Yes they are! The update is supposed to be coming in March I believe, I think it'll be an extremely welcome change though will also create a larger need for credits!
Definitely goons try that It's frustrating when you start a new series and your opponents are on soft tyres already when all you can choose is a different air filter
I actually enjoyed your video, and respect the tips you shared with us... But, am I the only person that noticed you selected the Porsche that was 'Level 9' in your showroom, then as soon as you showed you driving on track, you were 'level 6'??? What happened there!?!? haha. Probably just another 'Forza Glitch' :)
You know it'd be a really fun way to level up your cars in this game not having to fucking level up your car in this game. The fact that we have to go and do shit like this is so obnoxious is so stupid. I don't know who thought this system was a good idea
Honestly, when I first heard of the whole system, I completely hated it. Though the more I've played I'm growing to like it due to it making the game take longer to do what I wanna do. For me that's something I care about as I know it'll be many years before the next game will come out.
@@AudatiousXtreme it's just artificially inflating the playtime though. I don't think it's a good system and a good way to do it. If the game is engaging in front of me you'll play it long-term anyway. Look at motorsports 4 people would still play that game today
i apologize for the reupload but the first time had some editing problems! if this video helped you out please be sure to drop a like a consider leaving a comment on the next video i should do! :)
For me as a german it hurts so much hearing you say Porsch - you can't imagine. It's not a Porsch - even if a lot of people pronounce that wrong. Please! It's a Porsche!@@AudatiousXtreme
Ai drive sucks, though it's honestly a decent implementation for getting free stuff without needing to be at the game. Overall I guess I won't complain haha
I've never tried this before but what about using a different Microsoft account once you're in game? I purchased through steam then when I start the game it logs into my Microsoft account I chose on first launch
Honestly I love the new Leveling system and feel it adds alot more to the game, you actually get to know each car and feel each upgrade you do rather than just having a maxed whatever the second you want it. Personally fm8 feels substantially more realistic to me than gt7 and fm8 takes the win on graphics by landslide
Learning how a car drives stock, getting to know its strengths and weaknesses and doing your own tuning to polish it is very fun if you are really into cars. If you steal tunes online probably not
@@AudatiousXtreme Forza had the age old problem of just every car either sliding like it's wet or under steering like you've got Chinese tyres on. GT7 feels much better to me and i've been a Forza player since day one on the original Xbox
If you want a shortcut, then follow my afk guide. In my opinion this just helps you level the cars you wanna use so they're upgrade when going into events like multi-player or story mode :)

It's happened to me doing this aswell annoyingly@@keloing923
I did 3 races and my game did that. It reset the entire series. I just didn’t bother replaying lol
Definitely the tip i needed. Right when your car starts to feel good, the championship is over.
This was exactly my problem! Now you get the car feeling good, then start the championship, and by the time you're done the car will be maxed! :)

Exactly! Honestly I've been loving this method alot, almost feels kinda like a cheat code working around what they expected us to do 😂

That's exactly what I did. Rivals, keep upgrading the car, new ghosts, new car XP. It's fun as well.
100%
Exactly! Plus the challenge of the rival really helps to learn tracks you might have been super fast on before
I didn't really mind the grind to level up cars, but this definitely makes it much more fun. Thank you for sharing this!
Me either! Honestly rivals has with partially upgraded cars has been some of the most fun I've had in forza in a long time haha, no problem!! 🙂

Yes they are! The update is supposed to be coming in March I believe, I think it'll be an extremely welcome change though will also create a larger need for credits!
I found that lime rock complete is extremely fast. You earn easy 50xp for like every other corner and it takes like 1min for a lap
I'm gonna try this out! Thank you for sharing! :)
Definitely goons try that

i'm really glad that you enjoyed! no worries haha it wasn't a glitch, i just didn't record everything in the order you saw in the video :)
I made a button clicker last night and I leave my car on rivals all night. Works great.
That sounds awesome! Anything possible to make Leveling cars better is welcome :)
Nice man...I don't like taking forever leveling up cars either .Thanks
With rivals honestly it's been alot more enjoyable for me! Hopefully the same for you too, you're welcome! :)

For this guide the next step which he is not showing is opening all assists and leaving it AFK.
I have a separate guide on being totally afk with the assists :)

It's totally dependent on how well you drive :) the very end shows xp gained from start of race and credits
