I’ve been through the same thing. I have the Infiniti sports exhaust/axel back and can’t wait to get this thing off. Going with the same FI CBE you have. Any thoughts on LDPS?
I would have gone with LDPS but being here in CA it is not recommended because it wouldn’t pass our emissions test. From what I have seen and heard, going with LDPS would be a great move.

How loud is it compered to stock?
I just got my Q50 2020 and thinking about getting FI catback Touring mufflers with the resonators, don't want it to sound so loud, what you think?
It is much louder compared to stock. You will definitely notice the difference on startup and when you get on throttle. It is quiet when cruising but wakes up when you get on throttle. I came from the Infiniti Helmholtz Axle back exhaust which was way louder and when I first switched to the Fast Intentions I thought it was too quiet. However, I really like it now. It turned out to be the perfect exhaust for me and what I ultimately was looking for. I would recommend you go non-resonated on the touring muffler which is what I have. Trust me it is a nice setup and not loud at all. It is very tasteful and in my opinion this is how it should have come stock in the Q. Has a very nice tone.
I think it would be way too quiet if you went resonated with the touring muffler. If you are planning on adding lower down pipes then go resonated. Or, If you want something a little louder you could go with their 10” sport muffler with the non-resonated x-pipe.
@@javtheautoenthusiast6418 Thanks for the answer good sir, yes I've heard the Helmholtz Axle back and it's way toooo loud, I'm looking for a deep tone and not obnoxiously loud, when you say this is how the Q50 should've sounds from factory I'd assume it's at a very good sound level, but as you mentioned I might get Lower downpipes, so I'm really not sure what do get.

@@javtheautoenthusiast6418 thank you man I had my q for a while now and I still have it stock because I don’t what an exhaust that is obnoxiously loud by just cruising. So appreciate the info I’ll be doing that set up.
Would you recommend the 14" with 14 resonators or no resonators?
Without resonators if you have the VR turbo motor. Even without resonators there is no rasp and the volume of sound is just right in my opinion.

How do you think this will compare to 10" sport with resonated x-pipe if I'm not installing any downpipes?
I think it would be similar. I would suggest non-resonated if you will not be installing downpipes.

@@123B012N yes, the Q’s are very quiet and I would recommend non-resonated. Still very unobtrusive when cruising and you will enjoy the sound when you get on the throttle.
Do you still have the helmholtz exhaust? If so are you willing to sell

They fit the awd sedan model ?
Yeah, when purchasing it from Fast Intentions you select your drive train. Not sure if there is a difference in the exhaust layout from RWD though.

No, I do not have the proactive package.

Does it drone at all?
No drone at all. Sounds good under throttle and it’s like factory quiet when cruising. I did turn off the enhanced exhaust sound which was annoying with the exhaust.

Too quiet. Have a shop remove the mufflers
hidden KARD it’s perfect for me. I would have kept the Helmholtz setup if I wanted it loud. I was looking for something a little louder than stock with a nice tone. This particular Fast Intentions setup fits the Bill. In my opinion this is how it should have sounded from the factory.
