Which engine did you like most in the F2004?
V10
V12 sounds the best
V8 obv
V10
All 4 configurations.
V6T on a V10 era car is a fking ROCKETSHIP
1000+hp with low profile small and lightweight car
but it would actually be impossible to fit into that car. its not just the 1.6 turbo V6. thats why they call it a power unit because there are so many more parts in there. the 2. big reason to why the current era of cars are massive.
It doesn't actually work in real life. Too much weight and not enough HP.
@@funnyshorts6830 yeah. those V10s were probably the best engines performance vise too. they were the most powerful N/A engines F1 had seen and worth mentioning that honda set the F1 landspeed record on the salt flat using their V10 era car with no rear wing. the only thing those cars were held down by were the tires. they had grooved tires to slow the cars down. because if the tires were just narrower, it'd also reduce drag. so teams would claw back some of the grip loss by adding on downforce
@@schkann1384thanks for explaining
No I mean it
@@schkann1384 yes... But what i meant is: the last V10s had around 950 hp on quali mode, while the modern V6 have around 890 hp...
That v12 is heavenly
I agree
Glad to see Rubens getting some love on these F2004 videos.
With the V8 engine it becomes an F2006
In theory, yes.
Actually, you mean the Ferrari 248
and with the V6 it becomes a... F2024?
@@schkann1384 Probably
Ferrari F2007 for me
The power of the V6 engine is truly impressive, the most incredible engine ever developed in Formula 1. The sound is comfortable to the ears, and it is still beautiful.I grew up in the V6 era so for me it's the best, but these naturally aspirated and the V10 are incredibly satisfying.
Thanks for watching my friend
The V6 F2004 felt like a crime
I agree but I couldn't let you test it
May be you should consider V10 in qualification mode (around 915 cv) because the 1050 cv of the V6 are available only in qualification mode. During race the new V6 Turbo cars run 5-6 seconds slower. Power/weight Ratio so calculated is around 1.5 cv for kg for both cars and should lead to similar result in monza track
Soon we will be able to compare the V6T and V10 in qualification mode.
No, the ERS system can be used in the race as well lol
@@toby7366 New F1 got slower in race both for the fuel consumption limit than the different ERS usage; even the cars that change the tyres at the last 2 lap to get the point for the fastest lap, then recharge batteries, then try the fast lap, it's 2-3 slower than the pole position time. For this reason in a single lap you need to compare with V10 in qualifying setup. otherwise you need to compare the times on at least 4 laps basis
I want see more videos like this😂😂😂
Exactly 1 second quicker than the V10!. 370KM/H!!
You should have used the 1994 V12 woth 3500ccm and around 840 hp. That engine was a monster :D
The iconic F1 car with different engine sounds
What about F1 2026 with V10 Turbo Hybrid? Please make it
This would be more complex to do but not impossible.
u deserve my subs
Crazy how a 2.4 naturally aspirated engine makes almost 800hp
More videos f2004 v6
ギヤボックスをそれぞれ8速と同じギヤ比にした場合の比較がみたいです
so where is the 80s 1400hp turbo v6
Next with V10 hybrid 👍
Can you do it with the 2008 Ferrari ? It has a lot more downforce...
We can try that soon.
@@f1virtualfilms nice
@@f1virtualfilmsWhat about that video ?
i love every single one can you tell me how did you change engine sounds on the cars?
It's not just the sound. The engine was also modified by the Assetto Corsa Car Tuner program.
With V6 Hybrid, it becomes F2004-75.
V10 is obviously the best sound of a formula one engine
F1 with v6 5:14 in 2026 be like:
There seems to be a very strong headwind going into turn 1.
This narrow light F1 car had tremendous straight line speed, the gear ratio is too short for the Tuebo/hybrid V6 pn the straights, it'd go over 385kph if it didnt hit its boost limit, plus the aero for Monza seems high, with the V10s on the main straights even on race engine mode should hit over 365kph without a tow, not 344kph, which makes me think its got medium aero settings, in real life in 2004 testing rhe Mclaren hit 375kph and even in the actual race itself if you were doing 344kph on the home straight other cars would just drive past you doing lets say on a random lap 360kph unaided and with tow Pizzonia in the Williams hit 373kph, it was 369.9kph by the speed trap which was several hundred metres before the braking zone.
I have seen a lot of these video and are all wrong. the maximum speed is always too low. I think they use some standard setup, they don't even spend 10 minutes trying to do a custom set-up. Jean Alesi reached 334km/h in 1994 (v12) in monza, 316? maybe in monaco's tunnel...
@@lucahitman Yes of course, 1994 Ferrari with the V12 was a beast on the 2 real power circuit that year and hence why they won at the brilliant old school Hokenheim and SHOULD also have won at Monza, the old V10s of the Williams and V8s of the Benetton just couldn't get anywhere near that Ferrari on the Monza and Hokenheim straights, and yes on the Monza home straight the Ferraris topped 340kph compared to the Williams of 331kph and Benetton 328kph, but yes in the F2004 chassis it'd go alot quicker than it did here, the F2004 was post 1998 chassis regs and 20cm narrower than 1994 cars with much less drag so would in theory at Monza do 350kph+ especially with no governed rev limiters back then.
V10 all the way
I'd have loved to see a 1980s 1.5 turbo as well, those where practically the honey badgers of engines - Tiny, little beasts packing a ridicolous amount of power, in the order of 1,200 or even 1,500 HPs. In that era, aerodynamic research still was at its beginning, but on a 'noughties car like this it would have been interesting to see what they could have achieved, all of that power being able to be harnessed more efficiently by improved technologies and aerodynamics.
We can do that soon. Thanks for the suggestion.
Lotus 78 with V10 V8 V6 TURBO HYBRID and V12 Engine, please ?? o/
where do these sounds come from??!! the turbo v6 sounds exactly like the one irl
The engine is exactly the same as the 2024 Ferrari
@@f1virtualfilmsthe mod that you used for the engine swap, that's what he's asking.
v12 would have had more power and maximum rpm in any year than the v10, Ferrari simply gave up with its refinement and switched to a more common version with the V10. toyota wanted to come to Formula 1 with the v12 and according to Toyota's calculations, the v12 would have been much better, the fia, afraid of the appearance of another dominator as it was with Williams, the fia banned others layouts other than v10.(as a result, the FIA got a dominant Ferrari and Schumacher lol) and Toyota had to postpone its entry into Formula 1 for several years.
Signing a petition for the next gen cars to be that exact same last car 😂
That would be very good but far from reality.
Should be improved downshift sound quality .
it still sounds the same as games from 15 years ago.
Especially in V12
Yeah because its monza where speed matters, now do laguna seca
Last one couldn’t happen in real life. No way it’d fit in the f2004 chassis. I’m not sure the v12 would fit in either….
Is the v6 engine bigger than a v10?
@@sebastiancalderonpacheco8218Yes due to the 22 computers of the hybrid system, the turbos, electric motors, mgu-H and K. Requires a heavier and slightly bigger car
@@chief1325 oh, ok, i forgot again that displacement does not define the size of an engine
V12 sounds like the 1995 Ferrari
Because it is..
4:54
V6 1 s faster but with 1000+ hp than the V10 with 800+ hp
Game?
Assetto Corsa
V6 so unrealistic speed.
Game name?
Assetto Corsa
Interesting results based on AI generated driving. Why is the V12 powered car that much slower than the others ? Of course, the V12 is bigger, heavier, and so on. Why the 5 seconds gap ?
The V12 is the lowest powered engine and also the heaviest.
