I have been a motorcycle mechanic for a long time. but i love to see how other people do things. and i like to have a good teardown playlist for friends and sometimes myself. You are great at making these tutorials overal but i would stress the importance of organization more, For example putting bolts back after taking them out whenever possible. and maybe making box maps.
I have build 100s of small and big engines, but I love to be able to see this videos they are super useful, especially when I work with multiple brands, thanks for taking the time to make this videos, this like an encyclopedia that I can always go back and check for something am not 100% sure.
Great videos I purchased the 02-06 full rebuild video set and it was phenomenal. If you don't even own one of the bikes available it's still a great investment.
could you do the 2009-2015 something fuel injected? Please. great vid by the way i would buy your DIY Video but i have a 2015 model and i think some vital information would be left out considering the difference in years so im stuck with the service manual but great tips i will need them.
The Ram Thanks for your feedback regarding future models. You might find our book, The Four Stroke Dirt Bike Engine Building Handbook, a great compliment to your service manual for your late model Honda. You can check it out here>> www.diymotofix.com/books.html
I struggle removing Right Engine case because Kick Starter is stuck on shaft ; while struggling a small Stainless Steel ball fell from the crack between Engine cases- do you know what that goes to??
Gary Shurety, they are in our store. You can check them out here>> gumroad.com/diymotofix Or learn more about them here>> www.diymotofix.com/honda-crf450-repair-and-rebuild.html

I have a problem with the honda crf 450 2005 with a puckdown and improper engine operation, whether it is a valve or, can tip, thank you
I have a verrrrrrryyyyy important question what do I do if i can't get the crankshaft bolt off that holds in the crank gears and how hard should it be
that piston looks new was there a problem with the build before this vid?
cant be a new engine as the case looks dirty
That's what I was thinking! All the gaskets look pretty new too? Almost like it never ran..

How many hours can the average joe blow rider go before needing to do the bottom end? Thanks in advance 🙏🙂
With just easy trail/back yard ridding, I'd say roughly around 50 to maybe 70 hours
Nathan Trickett I bet 😂👎
Pretty impressive speed, that’s a lot work for 42mins 😂
I struggle removing Right Engine case because Kick Starter is stuck on shaft ; while struggling a small Stainless Steel ball fell from the crack between Engine cases- do you know what that goes to??

All I need is bottom end torque spec!!! Pls help! CRF450R 2004
How different would the trx engine rebuild be??
+Call_M3_Mr_T I believe the only differences might be in the specifications. Physically the CRF and TRX are nearly identical.
DIY Moto Fix Alright thanks.. I blew my quad up today.. Got shavings in the oil.. I'm pretty sure its the crank as the kickshift wont budge at all
Call_M3_Mr_T its all same some years had slightly different size gears
What size 4 prong tool?
