Defintietly
to be honest i'm not capable of making a favourite list, i don't even have a favourite album, everything is equally loved by me
pieta909 me too!
I couldn't agree more! There are some songs I enjoy more than others, but generally they're all equal!
I think I've accepted Abbey Road to be my favourite album. It had been Rubber Soul for 25 years....
Same here. I would probably make a different list each time I was asked, depending on my mood, the time of day, what I had for lunch, etc
pieta909 revolver is my favorite album

Long Long Long and For No One are two of the greatest ever
5. Tomorrow Never Knows

1. A Day In the Life
I like Hey Jude but like it’s not one of my top 5, otherwise very fresh unique list.
Julia? Bruhhh
Cade Reimer why don’t you like Julia?
Good list.
Explain to me why Julia so loved I think it's just so repetitive and dry

1. Don't Pass Me By
Massive twat, that list gave you your name😂
teppolundgren no what goes on or act naturally?
@@mavisevelyn618 You're right, I should've dropped the help from my friends and put What Goes On in its place. It's much better.
But Act Naturally is a cover song...
5. Happiness is a warm gun
4. In My Life
3. The End
2. Free as a bird
1. A Day In The Life
I feel like happiness is a warm gun is underrated :)
Free as a bird is credited to the Beatles but it isn’t really them. It’s not all of them
Jacob Solomon.. it is all 4 of them... literally
@carlymusic I honestly think it’s my favorite
Free as a Bird, great choice, and Happiness is a warm gun is also great.
5. Dear prudence
4. A day in the life
3. For no one
2. Yesterday
1. Strawberry fields
I just love how innovative strawberry fields was and how they used so many different effects to make the song more versatile
It's a movable feast really, except my No. 1 Beatles tune will always be Strawberry Fields Forever.
Nicely put! That's exactly what it is!
Strongly agree
Vinyl records the doors please
There's never been another song quite like it.
1. Let it be - definitely album version with George’s guitar solo. Beautiful song about grown man meeting his mother in his dreams. In the solo you can hear guitar screaming and crying and you know why rock music is so wonderful.
2. Hey Jude - singing “na-na-na-na-na” together with Paul in Cracow (2018 concert) was what I was born for 😉
3. Come together - great opener, it shows what the whole record will be like and it corresponds - in my opinion - with the cover art. It’s so complete.
4. Back in the USSR - if you put it in powerful stereo speakers with strong bass, nobody can believe it’s a 50 y.o. song 😉
5. I saw her standing there - is there any better start for rock&roll band than “She was just 17, you know what I mean”? It’s so, so r&r! 😀
These are my choices. Btw, great movie, as usual, thanks! 👍🏻
Lech Dąbrowski this isn’t bad
I saw her standing there would probably be in my list as well. I think it's a great representation of the sound of their early years and it's just so catchy.
twoinabush100 Definitely, music and lyrics in this song are the essence of rock&roll in early 1960s! 😀 And this “one, two, three, faaah!” in the beginning. Mystery of “Fuh you” is solved 😉
No particular order,
5. Tomorrow never knows
4. She’s leaving home
3. Nowhere Man
2. Here comes the sun
1. Maxwells silver hammer
Slim Legs maxwell’s silver hammer is an exquisite song, immensely underrated i couldn’t agree more
Love maxwells so dynamic punchy and cheerily disturbing
I'll never understand why people get so angry over Maxwells and Octopuss's garden
In no particular order
A Day In The Life
In My Life
Hey Jude
While My Guitar Gently Weeps
Eleanor Rigby
Normie
Ian Armstrong why do you have a problem with that you bellend
Casual Beatles fan
Well, they are all popular for a reason. They’re all pretty freaking good
just because they chose popular beatles songs doesn’t mean they’re a ‘normie’ or a ‘casual beatles fan’ they probably just happen to like the popular songs more 🤷♀️
5. A Day in the Life
4. Something
3. In My Life
2. Hey Jude
1. Here Comes The Sun
great top 5 btw :)
Anybody see that McCartney video talking about some of his songs? He talks about And I Lover Her, and he mentions how George came up with that opening riff on the spot.
CrongGamer it might be the GQ interview where he broke down his iconic songs
5. Lovely Rita
4. Come Together
3. Hey BullDog
2. Cry Baby Cry
1. For No One

That’s a very diverse list. I like it
I love for no one
5. Strawberry Fields Forever
4. Norwegian Wood
3. Happiness Is A Warm Gun
2. A Day In The Life
1. In My Life
I really wanted to include While My Guitar Gently Weeps, but it got edged out for Strawberry Fields.
While My Guitar can go on your list of Beatles songs NOT written by John Lennon.
Oh wow this could have been my list lol
I love this list!:)
i’ve never met someone with a favorite beatles song, it’s simply impossible
Yes - it's like.... "That's my favourite Beatles song!" "Oh, that one too!" "No, that one!" etc etc
Tomorrow Never Knows has been my favourite for most of my life. For a start it has the greatest opening line ever in my opinion and musically wipes the floor with Pepper especially Ringo's distorted Drumming is nothing short of mind blowing.
@@michaelplatt8736 Yeah i feel that way about "I'm ONly sleeping" and All I got to do" when John hums and sings in a special way for me and my gal.
@@michaelplatt8736 Pauls tape loops on that still sound profound today nothing uses that nowadays
You haven't met me then. My fave Beatles song of all time is She's Leaving Home. So no, it's not impossible.

Asking “what’s your top 5 favourite Beatles songs?” is just like asking “what’s your top 5 favourite songs?”
1-Helter Skelter
2-Back In The USSR
3-Everybody's Got Something To Hide Except Me And My Monkey
4-She Said She Said
5-Tell Me Why
Helter Skelter is my #1 too!!! Because that song made me look for more Beatles' songs!
She Said She Said is so catchy and underrated
In My Life.
As a man pushing 60, it amazes me how wise a song can come from a such a young group of men. They got it before they were even old. And say it in so few well-chosen words.
It's weird how some people confuse "favorite" with "best." We like what we like, and the Beatles gave us a LOT to like!
5. Reminiscing

4. 'Paperback Writer' for the drums
3. 'Help!' for the relevance to my own life
2. 'I Saw Her Standing There' for the energy
1. 'Here Comes The Sun' is just perfect
Joseph Newton Yours is the first list I've seen in these comments where I agree with all five! it's so hard, and pointless really, to try to pare down the Beatles songbook to just five, especially because different songs strike me differently depending on the ambient situation. But I'd say that _EVERY_ song on your list brings me joy _EVERY_ time I hear them.
MendTheWorld it’s funny you should say that. I first commented about how I’d hate to have to pick only 5 but then I couldn’t resist the challenge. I had to sit down and really think it through. There are many other songs I love, but these are the 5 that are just on another level. I suspect most wouldn’t pick ‘Paperback Writer’. I used to play the drums for it on expert mode in The Beatles Rock Band almost everyday. It’s such a great beat and fun to play. I never appreciated Ringo’s contribution until I got The Beatles Rock Band.
5. It's all too much

Solid list. I'd have to say my list is: 5. Baby you're a rich man, 4. I'm only sleeping, 3. Girl, 2. In my life, 1. Rocky raccoon. Rocky raccoon was the first song I learned to play on guitar and was able to sing at the same time.
I’m with you on I’m Only Sleeping. Fantastically weird and chilled atmosphere.
@@Awibrahor I love the vocals, they just feel like they are floating around and I think it captures the weird lucidity of waking up abruptly from a deep sleep.
I can't list the 5 best Beatles songs. No way. But I can list 5 of their songs that contain "goosebump moments" for me, even though there are other songs that are better.
And in no particular order, they are: It Won't Be Long, And Your Bird Can Sing, Lovely Rita, Ob-la-di, Ob-la-da (what?!) and The End.

2. Something
3. For No One
4. Long, long, long
5. Anna
Finally someone who likes Here, There and Everywhere as much as me!
It’s Anna ( Go with him )
It amazes me how you put words on your thoughts so well, I sure couldn’t if I were talking about The Beatles
5. I'll Follow the Sun
One of the more underrated of Beatles classics, but follows that theme of always looking out for the positive that the Beatles were so good at making us do.
4. Lovely Rita:
The power of the music, as in most of all Beatles songs, is hypnotizing here. Paul tells a story about an everyday thing, a meter maid, or a female parking officer, as we say here in the states, and turns it into kind of a romantic love story. How many times do we see that person casually on a daily basis that we sorta crush on and would like to take to the next level? But, again, the music is catchy and mixed psychedelia with pop in no other way in which Paul, or his mates, were able to.
3. Good Day Sunshine
This song is very personal to me as it was one of my mother's favorites. It gives us a natural high, no matter what and...is right along with that theme of sunshine, happiness and positivity.
2. In My Life
This has got to be one of the most moving songs in history. Is it possible to listen to this without shedding even an invisible tear? John was very deep and emotional and the love that he had for those special people as well as everyone else is really felt here. That opening guitar lick, the sing along chorus, and Ringo's fantastic drumming to back up the sweetness of the melody are stupendous! I thought it was going to be my #1but....
1. Here Comes the Sun:
No I am not copying this guy, but he made some great points. This song encapsulates what the Beatles were all about. Ringo's drumming is just amazing here; the bridge is magical and George's seemingly simple yet really complicated guitar licks and even the riff have made this one of the most addictive songs ever made, Beatles or non-Beatles. The last time I looked, on Spotify this was the most played and requested Beatle song. Congratulations George...especially since John and Paul wrote most of the songs, but his comes out to #1 on many lists.
This was hard
5. Helter Skelter
4. Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da
3. I Wanna Hold Your Hand
2. Help!
1. While My Guitar Gently Weeps
