I think Porter grew within an 8 year span for him to pass down what he experienced through sadness/depression over the years. Also, I think the connection between the 2 songs is to have a daily self-reflection in the mirror while saying a positive mantra in order to start the healing process. The mantra is it’s own language that speaks deeply to your conscious. Thank you, Porter💙

Hearing this at the nurture tour made me realize how underrated this song is among Porter's discography, and now it's up there as one of my favorites!
Me too! The full version on his channel has 10m views (just incase anyone scrolling doesn't realize) but I'd still say it's underrated for how revolutionary it was. This song was released just 7 months after his Spitfire EP, which blows my mind. At the time he considered the release of Language to be "risky" because it was so different from his complextro sound - and the positive reception led him to fully embrace the concept for Worlds... Amazing.

Ever since hearing this on the main menu of Forza Horizon 1 years back, this track always did stand out to me. It fit the main menu of the game perfectly and captured the real 'car meet' feeling the game had, an incredible song which was once again featured in the latest update for Forza Horizon 5.
Same, my favourite was Horizon 3. I want Forza Horizon 5 to bring back all the missed things from that game into an update or something, and the ability go get out of your cars.

Came out when I was starting college, huge prospects and probably some of the better days of my life. Got to see Porter live during the Nurture tour and hearing Language was a real (great) kick in the gut.
