I’ll never forget how I came across this song when Forza Horizon released. I remember just cruising by the wayside at dusk, watching the sunset go by. I was just a kid then. Never thought I’d make it to my early 20s, let alone be driving an actual car and blasting this on the highway. It’s a surreal feeling. Life takes you by quick. It’s easy to get stressed but you gotta take advantage of your time and live in the moment. I don’t expect these words will be heard but I’ll leave this up for anyone out there who needs to hear them.

This song gave me hope. When I spent days in my room crying from witnessing and undergoing abuse I always listened to this imagining myself far away and happy. It’s amazing how 6 minutes can change you. I will always be thankful that I found this song years ago.

if you also notice in some part changes in 15 secs such as the melody, and part of the build up like in 1:15 you can hear the piano come in again and in the build up case you can hear a melody at 1:40 but is more noticeable at 1:45 which the volume starts to rises that leads to the drop and finally in the drop you can hear a repetition in 2:11 but it stops in 2:15 and something similar happens between 2:25 and 2:30 which happens again in 3:45, 4:10 - 4:15, 4:41 - 4:45, and 4:55 - 5:00 a truly masterpiece of EDM without doubts
i like that the lyrics/verse is only verse style part then transitions into the main melody and never comes back. It acts like a bridge but doesn't really change the song much, which is so cool

That’s where I first fell in love with this song, in the midnight blast race when you turn the corner into the festival with all the fireworks. It’s such a magical moment and still my favorite part of the entire game to this day

This song was basically the start of everything for me and my friends, we all played video games before but it was never fun, normally we were little kids ages 8-12 saying bad words until we started playing FH1 and a bunch of racing games. Then it all changed, we loved forza horizon 1 and we have had the best times playing it. Then we moved to forza horizon 3 shortly after and it was the main game we played now we are just days away from forza horizon 4 and we have all came back to forza horizon 1 for a final trip with this amazing game. This song means so much to many people I know, most likely nobody will read this but that's ok. Thanks for all the good memories. (Edit, we are now about a few weeks away from Forza Horizon 5 and I am ready to be blasting this song while zooming around Mexico with the boys.)
For me, it went from fh1 to 3 and 4, then project cars and learning how a race car may handle irl. This sing always makes me hopeful about a racing career which is what I want to do, this year I'm racing karts and deciding if I want to keep going. Then I may decide to race in bone stock cars.

7 years ago I decided to walk away from a life of alcohol and substance abuse. I was at rock bottom of depression that was hidden underneath the surface of my entire life. Then I found myself in electronic music. No words necessary to convey emotion. Pure vibration and presence. Free from thought. This song was shared to me from a friend and when I started therapy Id come home play this song and naturally 'come up' dancing away in my living room. To this day it still gives me chills. Thank you Porter and all the beautiful souls I continue to share raves and festivals with being sober. Music is medicine. Let me float back to the place you found me. I am ok. The beautiful scenery. Exclusive cars, the seemingly endless open world. I love how the new song managed to capture somewhat of the same feeling I had back then in Forza Horizon 5.

Kentoocky if you have the game disc you can put it in your xbox one and the game will download and you can play. Thats how I play fh1 rn. It works and the graphics are noticably better. If you dont have the disc you can get a preowned one from gamestop at like 15 american dollars tops.
I can tell how this song influenced Zedd in two ways. The syncopated rhythm in the build ups became manifest in "Addicted to a Memory" (second build up). Also the four pauses in the chorus led to the four pauses in Zedd's remix of rude. Before he released both those tracks, he shared this song on his iTunes channel.

I know you probably don't look at comments on six-year-old videos but I just want you to know this song has helped me through so much in life. In 2014 I developed pretty bad anxiety and depression. This song would always make me feel so much better and eventually, I learned that I can just repeat the lyrics like a mantra to calm myself down. Anyways, the reason I'm thinking of this is recently I was struck by an SUV on my bike, I went through the windshield and woke up in the back of an ambulance. As realization, confusion and panic set in I started repeating this and despite a concussion, four broken bones, multiple large abrasions, lacerations, and a collapsed lung I was able to remain calm and coherent the entire time, the EMTs even commended me on it. Just want to let you know how powerful these words are. I plan on getting "I'll be okay." tattooed on the inside of my wrist now. You're also responsible for the happiest time of my life at EDC 2017 and I love Virtual Self so much as well. Keep being amazing and I'll keep seeing you every time you're in Vegas like I have for the past four years.

if you also notice in some part changes in 15 secs such as the melody, and part of the build up like in 1:15 you can hear the piano come in again and in the build up case you can hear a melody at 1:40 but is more noticeable at 1:45 which the volume starts to rises that leads to the drop and finally in the drop you can hear a repetition in 2:11 but it stops in 2:15 and something similar happens between 2:25 and 2:30 which happens again in 3:45, 4:10 - 4:15, 4:41 - 4:45, and 4:55 - 5:00

This song was basically the start of everything for me and my friends, we all played video games before but it was never fun, normally we were little kids ages 8-12 saying bad words until we started playing FH1 and a bunch of racing games. Then it all changed, we loved forza horizon 1 and we have had the best times playing it. Then we moved to forza horizon 3 shortly after and it was the main game we played now we are just days away from forza horizon 4 and we have all came back to forza horizon 1 for a final trip with this amazing game. This song means so much to many people I know, most likely nobody will read this but that's ok. Thanks for all the good memories.

Those people arent sharing the incredible experiences and emotions that songs like this can inflict on people. It honestly makes me feel so good when i listen to songs like this. Is it just me, or if you listen to this song while you do nothing do you just start crying remembering how amazing FH1 was? Every time it goes into the main section, the images of bombing it down a Colorado highway or overlooking a big ass waterfall while driving a bright green Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera come flowing right through my eyes. Just remembering the feeling the game gave you just makes a great song even greater.
