There's a lot of references to past mario games in here. Taking Coins (29:54) and Dodging Danger (35:06) are remixes of the mini-game and world 8 themes from Super Mario Bros 3, respectively, while Faster Than All (31:58) seems to take heavy inspiration from the Slide theme from Super Mario 64.

theres nothing sad about this game whatsoever (besides the aftermath) but.. i just had a long listen to this and couldn’t help but just tear up a shit ton every time my brother would pull out a controller for me and my mom to play this on family game nights.. now no one even has time to talk and the only thing lifted by my brother is a phone or a pen to work on digital art.
Eternal Star is my favourite (yes even over Mario's Rainbow Castle and Yoshi's Tropical Island). I wish I had known about that map when I played the game as a kid! There's no way I'd ever have the patience to collect 100 stars by myself LOL
Some of these soundtracks came out on websites and forums when I was a kid. I never played Mario Party, but it would have been one of my favorite games if I did. Just based on the soundtrack.

That terrified me as a kid because I"m busy having fun and thinking the menu is just where I go to have my next romp with my brother. Then Bowser's giant foot prints are all over the place and my security is completely out the window....good times.

Love the OST for this game. ♥
theres nothing sad about this game whatsoever (besides the aftermath) but.. i just had a long listen to this and couldn’t help but just tear up a shit ton every time my brother would pull out a controller for me and my mom to play this on family game nights.. now no one even has time to talk and the only thing lifted by my brother is a phone or a pen to work on digital art.
I've never played the others Mario party of n64, but considering the ones from gamecube, wii, wiiu, even the new in switch, I think this is the best.
Eternal Star is my favourite (yes even over Mario's Rainbow Castle and Yoshi's Tropical Island). I wish I had known about that map when I played the game as a kid! There's no way I'd ever have the patience to collect 100 stars by myself LOL
VGSOUNDFX THANK YOU VERY MUCH. 👍
Some of these soundtracks came out on websites and forums when I was a kid.
I never played Mario Party, but it would have been one of my favorite games if I did. Just based on the soundtrack.
25:52 is my JAM.
Ready.....GO!
Best Mario Party of all time. Nostalgi!!!!!!!
Saving courage definitely brings back memories of Mushroom Mixup
I realized just now that the Magma Mountain part of 43:30 is Bowser's castle theme from Super Mario RPG XD
The music from this game was one of my favourites. Except Peach's Birthday Cake, I hated that with a vengeance.
Amoo este videooo es el mejor video del mudnoo❤
Every single Mario game has amazing music.
This game is fantastic!

This is Mario Party. The music does not need to be this amazing
I absolutely remember when Bowser stole all the stars from the bank. That terrified me as a kid because I"m busy having fun and thinking the menu is just where I go to have my next romp with my brother. Then Bowser's giant foot prints are all over the place and my security is completely out the window....good times.
the mario party 1 boxart hints at mario party 3 and 7 lol
The percussion in Luigis board 10/10
The first Mario Party game is just downright evil.
It has stuff not present in any other games.
Jungle Adventure, Magma Mountain and Eternal Star are absolute bangers
Make sure to wear a glove before playing this game. We can't have blisters now can we?
Mitsuda is a genius.
Darn this whole soundtrack really is a banger!
3:42 the style of the music sounds like Brazilian carnival Samba.
This is a soundtrack I can listen to from beginning to end.
30:20 my favorite
My favorite soundtrack in the Mario Party series
11:11 Donkey Kong board :)
8:50 .. Man
best one and I listened to this before I ever played it when it came out back in 1998.
My childhood 😊
Yep me too.
The 3 in the cover made me think this is Mario Party 3
Finally Found The Song Mushroom Bank!

Coming soon back October 29 2021 Nintendo switch complete new Mario party super star remake from Nintendo 64
25:52 - Mario Party 1 Mini-Game: Running of the Bulb
I'm about blow everyone's mind...you don't need to rotate the joystick so goddamn fast you destroy your hand and the controller. Rotating at a moderate and uniform speed almost always gets me the win
Does 22:57 not sound like Ed Edd 'n' Eddy music to anyone? Especially around 23:35?
i haven't listened to these songs in 20 years yet it's like i just heard them all yesterday. ...........i miss twinbro ;_;
Recuerdos de la infancia, vengan a mi
Part of 30:20 is super Mario bros 3 world 3, 33:48 is world 6, 35:06 is world 8
I always won on Yoshi's Board so Tropical Island is my jam.
