I was raised heavily in the WoF background. Thank you for taking a stand against WoF where it seems like so many preachers are afraid too. The strange fire series changed my life.
WoF with Benny and his like was a major factor in the breakdown of my "Christian" marriage. I feel sorry for you Costi when you read the prophecies about false teachers and deceivers and realize that your beloved uncle is who God had in mind when he inspired that. It can hit you like a ton of bricks when you realize a loved one is obviously on a path to damnation. And I say beloved because he is beloved by God and his family. It takes a great man to do what your uncle does and so he is easily loved for those qualities, but unfortunately he has allowed greed and selfishness to triumph in his life. I once felt God's grief over Jim Jones would you believe.
I really love that Mike and Costi act like they are best buds, and have a sincere brotherhood, even as Costi is a calvinist and cessationist, and Mike is a charismatic and non calvinist. This is true Christian Unity, agreeing on the most important things, agreeing to disagree on lesser things, and standing firm, shoulder to shoulder, against heresy and falsehood. I am so thankful for these two brothers.
yeah but how about Costi Hinn's spot on imitation of Benny on how he manipulates the masses? Id pay good money to see the expression on Bennys face of him listening to that impression
As a Nigerian, I can confidently state that Benny Hinn, Kenneth Hagin, and Kenneth Copland hold unmatched sway in Christian communities throughout Nigeria. Benny Hinn's teachings and writings have profoundly influenced the theology of many churches here, spanning Catholic, Anglican, and Baptist denominations. Currently, there is a dedicated initiative to raise awareness about the doctrinal issues linked to Benny Hinn, Kenneth Hagin, and Kenneth Copland in Nigeria. I am grateful to Mike Winger and Costi Hinn for bringing this matter to light. I hope that your efforts will bring enough Nigerians and Africans to recognize and turn away from these false theology and doctrine.
I can see now why in Africa they mimic its familiar style of benny Hinns and others mentioned, style. Very sad they have so much influence and power in Africa as they did. Pray God heals the Nation's affected and bri g's more light and truth into Africa.
Unrelated but related... In July 2023, I attended a conference in KY that Cultish participated in through teaching. I was a very emotionally damaged skeptic from being raised and abused in a cult like church. Found some healing by making friends with others who had similar experiences and I'm still in contact with them. One of the people/resources mentioned was Mike Wenger and I'm 99.9% sure that Cultish made the reference as a safe/good resource. I started listening to Mike whose YT videos helped answer a number of my questions. I still have a lot of healing and a long way to go, but I became a professing Christian on October 31, 2023. I'm so grateful for the work you are all doing... you ARE making a difference! You are all part of God's work of healing the brokenhearted and binding up their wounds - helping church trauma victims by acknowledging the abuse (and providing next steps for recovery) is so critical. Thank you for your labor of love and for ultimately pointing people to Christ and what holy leadership looks like in action.
I used to go to Victory Outreach and remember when pastor Sonny Sr. Said he never wanted Ginny to come back to the church. That was weird coming from Pastor Sonny. They are the same
Great conversation, I grew up in the Orlando area during this season we always thought it was weird to see a pastor drive around in a Jaguar and have the level of living he had. It was my first experience with these types of teachers, especially what Mike talks about. My friend’s mom emptied her savings to give to the ministry and my friend who was not a Christian was so confused on why she had to do this.
He’s excellent. It’s almost better that he’s not reformed - it makes his apologetic more effective when attempting to communicate with folks who have an anti-reformed bias.
2 and a half hours flew by. My heart is full from hearing fellow brothers from different denominations come together to emphasis the work of Christ, rescuing his flock from false teachers. Thank you guys, sincerely.
Thank you so much for having Costi Hinn and Mike Winger on your show. I worked with Costi at Benny Hinn from 2009-2013 in Finance. I saw things from a different perspective than most because I saw where the money went. I can confirm EVERYTHING Costi says is the truth! Costi and Mike are doing the work of servants exposing Benny Hinn. Thank you again!! “Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them.” Ephesians 5:11 ESV
When I first came to know the Lord, it was in a "non-denominational" church that loved Benny Hinn. As a baby Christian I trusted my pastor and thought Binny was great. It was when my dad (who was always a Christian) freaked out and had me watch American Gospel that I started to see. When I brought my concerns to my pastor, he told me I was being sinful by not having faith and that American Gospel was baptist propaganda. I left that church shortly after and have never gone back. I'm so thankful for God's guidance to apologetics and the Truth of the gospel
Yikes I go to a nondenominational church simply because we want to make sure we are beholden to the Bible rather than any human doctrine. And that's why we would NEVER teach Benny Hinn's blasphemy.
@@ohifonlyx33Yeah, from the denominations; you're welcome. Men from denominations died so that we might have the Bible and be guided by it. Denominations are formed because good Christians disagree about doctrines that don't have the same level of clarity as the central tenets of the faith. The denominations exist because of much Biblical labor.
@@Michael_Chandler_Keaton i didn't say i am opposed to denominations. I work at a Lutheran school for Pete's sake. You don't need to get all snippy. I'm very aware of history. Aware enough to realize that tradition and good intentions can become corrupted. I value a lot of traditions, but I hold to God's word FIRST. But I don't have any problem if a church has a denomination. Affliation and identification are good reasons to have a denomination. That's why I said that literally the ONLY reason I'm technically/barely nondenominational is because of 1 human issue. That doesn't mean i don't appreciate the ongoing work of saints. So maybe chill. I wasn't being hostile. If anything, I was pointing out one of the downsides of being nondenom and saying please don't think all nondenom are as bad as that one.
If not for Mike and Costi, I'm not sure I'd have made it out of Word-of-faith, or it a minimum, it may have taken a lot longer! Praise God for both of them💗🙏💗🕊
I’ve been hoping Mike and Costi would have a conversation together. This is an even better collab than I wanted. So good. Thank you guys for putting this together.
Mike and Costi set an incredible example here for how to lovingly and responsibly discuss such issues without ironically exuding the same pride and self-aggrandizement as the people you are calling out. Sadly, I've witnessed far too much of that from the heresy-hunting crowd. Thank you guys for being solely accountable to Christ, not just in that you would speak the truth, but also in that you would want the spirit and manner with which you did so to model Christ's humility as well.
For sure. You can see the fruits of the seeds that were sewn. The seeds can be packaged or declared wrong, but the fruit will always be true to the seed.
1:31:50 It's startling how easily Costi reenacts the typical Benny Hinn event. It makes you realize how very much of a controlled environment it is, and how performative it is.
This will probably embarrass him but, Mike Winger has to be one of the best Christians on this planet. I've learned so much and been so blessed by his work. The Lord is really working thru him. I respect Costi for doing what he's doing. It can't be easy to go against your family but he's doing the right thing. I love Cultish and Apologia as well! God bless all you guys! 🙏✝️😊
@@lynnrussom5761All due respect but, I disagree. Mike's channel is not a discernment ministry. He mostly does Bible study and taking ppl's questions about the Bible but once in a while if he feels led he'll do a video to expose someone or something dark. As the Bible directs us to do. (Ephesians 5:11) As far as Bill Johnson goes, he has basically said that early on he was trying to give someone that he didn't know that much about the benefit of the doubt but now that he is more familiar with Bill Johnson he has called him out several times. Give his channel another shot. You might be surprised. God bless you 🙏😊
Agreed! His YT channel has helped our entire family! For me specially through the last 2 years dealing with church hurt and forgiveness and dealing with ungodly elders and leadership. So much respect for Mike! 😊❤🙏🏼
Costi’s backstage knowledge just confirms Mike’s documentary…not that I had any doubts. Thanks Cultish, for bringing these two together on the same podcast.
I went to a Benny Hinn service in Nashville, Tennessee. We waited in line for a long time. Inside it was filled to the max. We ended up in the back high up. The service went just like was described by Costi. It was a big production.
Sounds like what I was dragged to, rather against my better judgement, in Atlanta. Big white plastic buckets to pass around for the offering, many falling out, mesmerizing monotone instrumentation
Great conversation! I can't believe it's taken all these years for people to call out these false teachers. I shut him off years ago. Today's churches lack discernment!
I first saw Benny on TV as a new teenage Christian almost 30 years ago. I would watch him pretty regular on TBN. I was discipled in a Biblically based solid church and I was reading my Bible all the time. So that helped me grow in my faith in a healthy way. I wish I could go back and watch him, I really don't remember him saying you will be blessed as a result of giving him money. I was a baby Christian so its likely I missed it. I also attended one of the arena meetings talked about. I remember him taking up only one offering and again my memory was he said "this is for the gospel" and also he talked about some charity he founded that he gives part of the money too. I would have been one of those who said he started out good and went off. I had no idea how nefarious he has been for soooo long. I gave up on defending him or following him about a decade a go, due to his extravagant lifestyle, that has been reinforced in my mind by listening to Costi on For the Gospel. But again I had no idea how bad it was and how deep his influence is. Thank you Mike for your work and thank you cultish for bringing this to the light.
This is so important--thank you! I went to a Benny Hinn meeting in San Jose in the late 90s and no one came up on the stage and said they were healed. After the meeting, the friend I went with said, "Wow, that was so powerful." I wondered if we had been at the same meeting. I just thought Benny Hinn had worked his magic on my friend. I was used to the Lord doing quite a few miraculous things in my life and in others, so I actually thought Benny Hinn was doing real healings. I didn't know about the money side of it, until years later when I heard about his lavish lifestyle. With all that has come out about Mike Bickle and now this, it seems the Lord is doing something for and in His Church.
This video has engaged me all afternoon, and the way Costi and Mike's reactions dovetail has such a ring of truth. Thank you, Cultish, and your excellent participants.
Man, just listening to Costi explain how the Crusade would work made me cry. I have suffered from epilepsy for most of my life, and to hear how manipulative these things are for people like me who want nothing more than to be healed from their pain/illnesses just makes me sick and angry. I pray that Benny will be humbled, truly repent, and completely give his heart to the Lord.
Thank you guys for this! I am a loyal “Wingaling,” Mike winger follower, and I’ve seen Costi a couple of times. Glad to find this channel too! This is a brilliant episode, and definitely something needed for the body of Christ to take note and not just remain quiet x
Healed in spite of Benny’s errors…the LORD responds to an individual’s sincere humble faith and request …even a mustard seed sized faith is honored… a faith that can move mountains…Benny just happened to be a bystander “tool” God used to set up an opportunity for that person’s faith to come forth…and God answered, “I will deliver you”. But the sinful manipulation and monetizing of the Gospel ministry is where BH struggled…and of course listening to deceiving spirits for false concepts like 9 in the Godhead…some like the late Michael Heiser and the author of “Birthright”, Timothy Alberino, have speculated about the “divine counsel” idea based on the 7 spirits before the throne and other verses… (Revelation) …sometimes our sanctified imagination ventures into areas that are unnecessary and really don’t serve the purpose of pursuing souls with the glorious gospel in the great commission.
The problem is, that was then. Benny himself has addressed the things of the past and repented. He doesn't move that way anymore. And it's sad to see things already been address for the last 20 years still being dredged up. But i guess the opinions of people like myself, don't matter lol
@@AshleyKristyenIt’s not just the past when he is literally still manipulating people for money and spreading a false gospel. Also he needs to be held accountable for all of his fake healings. He has hurt so many people and has not faced the consequences of his actions. You can’t say that he repented when he’s literally being called out for lying about that and for deceiving people again for money… I don’t know why so many of y’all (benny hinn fans) are jumping to defend him, it’s like y’all are trying to silence his victims and that is disgusting. If his own nephew is calling him out, why would you even try to defend him?
@@Jaylah234 I've seen family do worse to each other for less, so i've learned not base "truth" on things like that. I mean hello, Cain killed Abel because of his own insecurity - and you can't take that and say it was justified lol. BUT - the issue of fake healings, that's one I haven't heard, so I will look into that. Because I have no problem saying I don't know something, and being willing to find out. However, a false Gospel, I haven't heard him preach anything false in a while, but again, that's based on my relationship with the Lord and my own cross referencing when he teaches. That's my opinion, not fact. So i'm not saying what I'm thinking is truth. Again, I'm open to look and really listen to what he says. However, one thing I would like *kindly* suggest -- trying to explain something to someone and saying that by me believing something is the equivalent of me trying to silence a group of people, isn't going to generally get people to be willing to hear what you have to say. But thank you for pointing those things out. I appreciate it.
My history has been crisscrossed by these teachers and I’ve always questioned why I couldn’t receive, let alone healing, but even a feeling of the anointing. I used to think it was me and God was moving on everyone but me. I’m guessing that’s a common response to think ‘everyone else gets in but me’. I appreciate seeing this, because it’s real affirmation that I’m not crazy or the odd one out.
I’m reading Costi Hinns book ‘God, greed and the prosperity gospel’ (35 pages in and it’s fantastic very easy read but written like he’s right there chatting with you about his first hand experience) every Christian should be aware of this false teaching that’s so prevalent in the world
That book is so beautiful and I think it should recommended to all Christian’s to read. I got a copy when I visited his church last summer and read it and I felt so sad, but also joyful to see the Lord’s providence for Costi and his wife.
Thank you guys for this. I was in the WOF movement for a long time. I remember being at Christ For The Nations Institute back in the early 90s. Mr Hinn spoke at several evening services that as students we were all required to attend. I made sure I sat as far away from the stage as possible and stayed for only the minimum time required and left ASAP. For the 2 hours that I sat there, all he did was talk about money. He literally gave me the creeps. Of course I would never say anything but even back then, I was aware that something was wrong with the whole movement. Finally got out in 2003. PTL!!
I'm from South Africa & have always been aware of other African cultures (who would mostly call themselves christians) be into things that aren't biblical. But I always assumed it had more to do with their culture beliefs & not religion beliefs. I would have never thought that Benny had that much influence on them if I didn't see Mike's video. I was shocked as many South Africans don't even know who Benny is. I think more people should be made aware of this. I work with people from different cultures every day and having knowledge on this would help a lot with our relationships with people who believe in these teachings.
I always had my doubts about Benny Hinn, but there was a time when I was open to the possibility I was wrong. As it turns out, it’s even worse than many of us knew. So many family members deceived by him, and I’m thankful the Lord helped me discern the truth.
I made a comment under Mike's post about how I was afraid the enemy was making him obsessed with this issue to throw other people off of his ministry, and I feel very embarrassed about that post now. at the end of the day its not my business. We all have our orders from God about what we should be doing. I should have minded my own orders.
It is our business when people are led astray ! We have brothers and sisters going to prison in Iran, China, North Korea to name a few countries, Canada also , for preaching the true WORD OF GOD.... Then these false pastors are fleecing the flock.....It is our business. Pray for them ( the people that are led astray)🎉❤
@@Katarina4567 I can see how my comment might make it seem like I meant not to go after false teachers, I only meant I should mind my business about what a brother in the Lord does in his own ministry. I think I got used to sharing my opinion on social media sites, if you're talking about what goes better on a pizza that's fine, but when it comes to someone's life and ministry, as long as they aren't going against God, then I am trying to learn to shut my mouth lol
That was very humble for you to share and apologize. The LORD is your shepherd and He is teaching you. God is helping us to truly love our neighbor. "Let love be without deceit. Be haters of what is evil; keep your minds fixed on what is good." Romans 12:9 Love takes courage, love is wise, is not self seeking, love warns, love tells the truth. What "Christianity" has been doing is not not love or wise. We've been "trained" in such a crooked manner. Sounds like your path is being made straight:) "And the LORD make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you" 1 Thessalonians 3:12 "The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved." 2 Thessalonians 2:9-10 @RambleChristianPodcast

Wonderful to hear you all discussing these things, making us aware and causing us to consider and contemplate our own theology, to be sure we are of the faith and are hearing the gospel of Christ properly and avoiding the false teachers and another gospel. God bless you Costi, Mike and Cultish! Keep up the good work, faithfully stewarding the gospel and ministering to others, for the kingdom of Christ! ❤
This was an absolutely outstanding podcast. It adds another layer to the work Winger did. Costi's inside insights should prompt us all, those for and against BH, to consider on a whole again the man BH and weigh for ourselves whether this man has been a blessing or harm to the body of Christ. Blessings!
Wow yes Ps Mike. It’s important to caution congregants from the pulpit as they have no idea. I was greatly admonished for exposing false teachings in my life group. My lead pastor was extremely angry and forbid us ( pastors) to ever speak against them. So we left the church as it would be difficult to see people deceived and do nothing about it.
I appreciate what you all do in this. I was caught up in WOF for many years. It is hard to shed all of the false teaching all at once. It takes time and perseverance to learn truth. I am giving truth to WOF friends-so far so good 😊. They seem to be listening.
The best collab I’ve heard in years!!! Great balance of hard truth and compassion. Keep preaching truth, my brothers. Your voices, and others like you, are helping rescue people from what looks like the Great Apostasy.
Wow. Early in this I immediately thought JUDAS. Then the last few minutes. 👍 I grew up watching BH and even went to Savannah, GA the year he announced he had a ‘special’ private message to share. It was his dream about seeing multitudes following the person in front of them and not seeing what was ahead. As the multitude pressed, the people in front were falling off the cliff into Hell. (How prophetic!) Then I attended a huge crusade in Jacksonville, Fla. It was certainly a show and something felt very wrong about it so my friend and I went outside and sat on the ground and listened outside. Interest lessened greatly afterwards. I can see it clearly now. Thank you for TRUTH. I pray he fully repents also.
I'm from East Germany, raised in a Christian home (Protestant) and after the Wall came down, Benny Hinn did crusades in our country that quickly led to spiritual disagreement in our fellowship. We didn't have language for it (like "prosperity gospel").
My mother in law would give to him and it just upset me so much, she barely had any money to her name and those are the ones he got rich off of. I’m so glad God in His grace rescued his nephew from this.
What an amazing collaboration!!! Praise God for faithful men like y'all! All of these prove that the Word of God is alive, the WORD OF GOD! Not the messenger. The messenger is DEAD IN HIS SINS! Regardless of what they say, God's living word will not come back void, he's faithful to what He's said! And He would use a rock if necessary. But pride keeps leading people to hell with the Bible in their hands. May God bring them all to Him 🙏🏾
I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this and appreciate the man of God for speaking truth in love. The length of the video was perfect listening to as a driver. It ended just as I pulled into my driveway at the end of my workday.
I GET THIS completely. I was raised in Christianity from my rebirth on the names of Benny Hinn, Kathryn Kuhlman, Jimmy Swaggart….etc,etc,etc. My own personal life had to rely on the Holy Spirit every day. Not the dreams of wishing I should be/could be as Godly and faithful and obedient as any of the above to work great for God.
Thanks to Cultish, Mike Winger and Costi Hinn for telling us the truth!! Jesus said He is the Way, the Truth and the Life! Now that my eyes have been opened to the Truth (because of videos and people like these) I'm doing my best to reveal the truth, not "my truth" because there is only ONE, to others. Thanks again!!
Exactly it is hypnotism. I was there. Vexed and obsessed. So twisted. Costi sings just like him. Bless you brothers. Laughing but so sad. I want my money back 😢😂😊
Thank yall so much. Good job, Mike. Also, as Costi touched on, Hank Hanegraaff's book, "Christianity in Crisis" is still very relevant today and one of the most well done exposés on the "Word of Faith Movement" you can get in my opinion. And as Costi said, these are from Hank's pre-Eastern Orthodox move which, by the way, I am still shocked and confused about. But I recommend that book because, as Mike has done in his videos, Hank also let's them speak for themselves throughout the book. You can see word for word the heresies preachers like Hinn, Copeland and many others teach from their own books and preaching. So they really tell on themselves.
Costi speaks of his uncle from a compassionate view.He sought to understand the root and foundation of why Benny does what he does. No judgement here.Just compassion and understanding.
"...the majority of them (people at a healing service looking for their healing) didn't need a healing service, they needed someone to teach them [Biblically] about suffering." EXCELLENT summary by Mike WInger.
Is sickness, cancer or kidney failure suffering for Christ ? Then you must be wrong Biblically seeking medical aid to get relief. Perhaps I miss your point. What of thousands of others who received God's healing touch by his mercy and were set free from their bondages. Do we even realize certain afflictions are caused by demonic oppression
I live in South Africa and confirm the effect of the prosperity teaching across the nation. The deception of the poor and needy is so rife! We, as the church need to learn discernment and, as stated on this video, we need to stand up to false teaching and expose it. The difficulty is that this discerption is so close to the truth that it is difficult to expose.
After two years in Egypt, i was surprised at how much the Christians there praised the likes of Benny Hinn and Reinhard Bonnke. It was very sad to see and hear. These guys are royalty to many African christians.
don't associate Bonnke with Benny..they are worlds apart. Not even close. Bonnke is a real man of God, humble, awesome evangelist and lived like a normal man.
@@gz67 oh geez, you won't hear about one out there without the other. I'll tell you there are many things about Bonnke that you are unaware of. I'll leave it at that. Be good.
@@JBly4Bonnke is near deified in many parts of Africa but I suspect he may have been a charlatan as are many big 'celebrity' pastors that come to Africa from outside.
@@JBly4chill Bonnke genuinely loved God and did His will. Not a scandal or anything of the sort ever appeared. Be careful bad mouthing Christians with no proof. Now Benny Hinn is definitely fair to rebuke.
Riveted listening to Costi Hinn reenact some of his Uncles crusades. So spot on. My husband and I served in a prosperity/healing ministry and sang with Jim Cernero and Steve Brock so when he mentioned them I went to my Facebook and sure enough realized I’m still Facebook friends with Jim 😂
I'm spiritually homeless. I was raised cessationist but in a legalistic church which did expository Bible teaching but didn't really understand the gospel of grace. I had a series of tangible encounters with God which moved me deeply (and still continue to experience God tangibly to this day) and have benefited greatly from environments like Bethel and Toronto. Yet I agree with many of the criticisms of the Charismatic church, and agree with this video about Benny Hinn. Reformed folk think I'm too Charismatic as I physically manifest and use Spiritual Gifts. Charismatics think I'm too skeptical for rejecting false Charismatic movements such as ihop, benny hinn etc. Many churches claim to be 'word and spirit', but few actually are. Why is it so unusual to have verse-by-verse Bible teaching + experiential faith + correct teaching on grace??
I have friends who have been sucked in to Michael Kuolianos and Jesus Image church. I was almost caught up in it as well, but praise God for his mercy in keeping me from it. Costi’s Benny impression sounds so familiar to Michael’s preaching. Please continue to expose this stuff to the light. It’s dangerous and dragging people into teaching that tickles ears
Costi's response to Benny's genesis in ministry is right on. I live near Toronto, and Benny came to our church in the early 80's. I'm very familiar with Benny's early life in Toronto and have written several blogs on him. I've written about what Costi shares here. I can leave a link if interested. Marvin Schmidt a travelling evangelist came to Toronto, Benny went to hear him, and later said to others, "I can do that. I can do that." There's very interesting info. on Benny's early years in Toronto.
Am I the only one that had red flags raised when Costi talked about Benny being effeminate. I sincerely hope we don't hear about abuse cases after he dies like we did after Ravi died. I remember seeing Benny rail against homosexuals in one video. It just seemed over the top hatred which is common for preachers to be hardest on people who are involved in the sin they themselves are enslaved to. So sad...
I have been to a Benny Hinn crusade probably 20 years ago with a christian school i was going to at the time and we were there for at least 4-5 hours and we left early long before the fireworks even really got started. It was as if they were wearing people down. That was my first that into... hey there's something not right here. I was a young teen about 14 at the time.

Praise Jesus for His redeeming love, mercy and grace 🙌
Thank you for sharing
What a wonderful story. God is good, so good.
I used to go to Victory Outreach and remember when pastor Sonny Sr. Said he never wanted Ginny to come back to the church. That was weird coming from Pastor Sonny. They are the same
Hope you all enjoy this extended conversation with Mike Winger & Costi Hinn!!
Loving it!
One of your best episodes
This was GREAT!!!!!
Loved both Costi and Mike. Thank you so much
Great conversation, I grew up in the Orlando area during this season we always thought it was weird to see a pastor drive around in a Jaguar and have the level of living he had. It was my first experience with these types of teachers, especially what Mike talks about. My friend’s mom emptied her savings to give to the ministry and my friend who was not a Christian was so confused on why she had to do this.
Mike Winger is my favourite non-reformed guy. Such a good dude.
Calvinists have hijacked the word "reformed ". All Protestants are reformed because we're not Catholic!! But not all Protestants are Calvinists.
I really think highly of Mike too. Gracious, humble, and skillful.
“Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them.”
Ephesians 5:11 ESV
I was saved by God in a Catholic confessional in 1973. I eventually left the Catholic church. Now I'm reformed baptist. God is sovereign.
As a reformed Baptist do you believe in Calvinism and replacement theology? I don't remember this in the Baptist church growing up and I don't agree
He sure IS 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Can you define what a replacement theology is? @@melaniehughes8909
"Baptist propaganda" that also has Presbyterians in the film haha I love it
@@zachariahbuckmaster6611The film also had Lutheran's in it.
In my opinion, Costi is one of the most humble men/pastors I’ve ever heard. And it’s true humility too. It’s so refreshing.
I love this comment! Always act in love - and you’re right, done very well and not in the same manner as those they discuss x
For sure. You can see the fruits of the seeds that were sewn. The seeds can be packaged or declared wrong, but the fruit will always be true to the seed.

Holy moly, Mike winger on cultish? This is a clash of worlds that I am very pleased to see.
This is the third time he’s been on with us 😊
1:31:50 It's startling how easily Costi reenacts the typical Benny Hinn event.
Mike Winger thinks Bill Johnson is his brother in Christ. What kind of discernment is that???
@@lynnrussom5761You must not have kept up with Mike winger. He now calls him out. He said he wasn't aware of how bad Bill Johnson truly is.
Holy cow! Get a grip!
This is likely the greatest collaboration I’ve seen in years. Nothing but love and admiration for all these guys for doing this.
Thank you, it was a blessing to help facilitate 😊
Costi’s backstage knowledge just confirms Mike’s documentary…not that I had any doubts. Thanks Cultish, for bringing these two together on the same podcast.
I went to a Benny Hinn service in Nashville, Tennessee. We waited in line for a long time. Inside it was filled to the max. We ended up in the back high up. The service went just like was described by Costi. It was a big production.
I think I was there. It was a show for sure.
Sounds like what I was dragged to, rather against my better judgement, in Atlanta. Big white plastic buckets to pass around for the offering, many falling out, mesmerizing monotone instrumentation
Love the fact that a cessationist and a continuationist collaborating is awesome.
Great conversation! I can't believe it's taken all these years for people to call out these false teachers. I shut him off years ago. Today's churches lack discernment!
Costi is so well-spoken! Thank you for putting this together guys!
Costi Hinn AND Mike Winger in the same video talking about Benny Hinn!? THIS is the ultimate Christian 'wrestling' tag team!
Costi's 'Hallelooooyaahh' Benny impression is spot on! 😆
Lol
Brother Costi Hinn and Mike that was a joy listening. Thank you for ministry and glory to our Lord Jesus 🙏
I love Benny, have known many ppl healed and saved under his ministry, he’s a great teacher, God bless Benny and have mercy on these who attack him
Healed in spite of Benny’s errors…the LORD responds to an individual’s sincere humble faith and request …even a mustard seed sized faith is honored… a faith that can move mountains…Benny just happened to be a bystander “tool” God used to set up an opportunity for that person’s faith to come forth…and God answered, “I will deliver you”.
Costi's impersonation of Benny is spot on! Thank you for this conversation. It's so helpful to hear both Costi's and Mike's perspectives.
The background Costi is giving, on his uncle and how he started, is very telling!
Yes!!!
@@AshleyKristyenhe’s still teaching prosperity garbage
That's my Pastor.. costi we love you brother. See ya Sunday
My thanks to both of you for steadfastly upholding a standard of righteousness, a thoroughly Biblical standard.
I’m reading Costi Hinns book ‘God, greed and the prosperity gospel’ (35 pages in and it’s fantastic very easy read but written like he’s right there chatting with you about his first hand experience) every Christian should be aware of this false teaching that’s so prevalent in the world
One of the 1st books I got when I came to truth!
That book is so beautiful and I think it should recommended to all Christian’s to read. I got a copy when I visited his church last summer and read it and I felt so sad, but also joyful to see the Lord’s providence for Costi and his wife.
Read it either last year or the year before
Thank you guys for this. PTL!!
My father went up for brain cancer. He didn't drank, but they said he was drunk.
I was not there, but we had to go minister to him. He was so hurt.
Maybe they meant drunk in the spirit a term used
I'm from South Africa & have always been aware of other African cultures (who would mostly call themselves christians) be into things that aren't biblical.
The WoF movement is out of control in most of sub-saharan Africa. Really crazy stuff going on and it is so widespread.
Sadly all Africa is tinted by this virus😢
You should watch him with Chris oyakhilome, who is very influential in Africa
Sounds like your path is being made straight:) "And the LORD make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you"
1 Thessalonians 3:12
"The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved."

Thank God for the ministry of Mike and others who equips believers.
Great to see all of you do this together to highlight the danger of false teachers like this
We must expose all false preachers and false prophets Ephesians 5:11
Yeah just make sure YOU aren’t one too. How do you know you’re not a heretic?
That's the only thing you know
Can you pray for the sick ?
Great work all of you. Thank you all so much for.
This is a such a blessing to the body of Christ
Now more than ever, us believers need to stand in Truth and follow God with everything we have.
We need biblical literacy in the church. Ignorance breeds deception.
Great conversation! I just have to mention Costi's impression of his uncle is spot-on! lol
I want to be like Mike and Costi when i grow up. What great guys!
I grew up going to Benny Hinn crusades and my parents still financially give. This was so good and will be sharing with others!
Wow. What a blessing of a video to have these godly men speak to such a present destructive force. So grateful for your ministries!
Thank you Cultish for doing this coverage on Benny Hinn
Fantastic conversation! Thank you, gentlemen.
Thank you everyone. Great collab. Very helpful.
Exactly it is hypnotism. I was there. Vexed and obsessed. So twisted. Costi sings just like him. Bless you brothers. Laughing but so sad. I want my money back 😢😂😊
Exactly..the young girl was healed "in spite" of Benny, not because of. God honored her faith.
This was so good! God used Costi in a massive way to save me from the prosperity gospel deception! His Benny impersonation is also 10/10 😆

Thanks for exposing Benny Hinn in depth.
Thank you both for your collaboration!
Thank you for this message. Its an important one as you'll even see people in the comment section of this video who still believe in Hinn.
The wrestling analogies feel really correct. Benny really is living the gimmick. That full life in character improv.
Awesome!! I Am Looking Forward To This!!!
I feel really bad because this is what is going on in my country, Ethiopian, at this time. So sad.....
