- The Extended Backyard Scale Trail Park is simply a BEAST.. and the JK MAX has been the most requested vehicle for me to put through its paces. I keep expanding the area..and adding more obstacles, extending the mud pit, and its an ever evolving course. We have constructed this course to be very difficult.. but to also offers many lines of lesser difficulty.
With Rope Bridges, Rock Piles, Teeter Totters, Deep Rooted Pits, Mud Bogs and More.. this video will truly entertain any Radio Control Hobby Enthusiast.
This is my JK MAX from Capo Racing. It is the NEWEST 2018 Model, and it is fantastic..!
What an Astounding & Unique BUiLD! Valued at $1500 USD, this model continues to inspire me. The machining was been excellent and the build almost effortless. I did not strip out one screw head, nor did I have any alignment issues with the assembly. Unheard of! This jeep is almost 100% ALL METAL, complimented by Carbon Fiber, and a sparse amount of plastic. The suspension is truly amazing - and the gear shifter is INSiDE the Transmission Housing! Unreal!

That high pitch noise sounds like it comes out of the pistons or shocks. Wherever it comes from, I think it makes it sound even more awesome! Keep up the great work, Medic!
The high pitched squeak is from the sound kit, supposed to be a turbo blow off valve.

It’s a beauty, but I think I’ve said that before! Lol. Nice video Medic! I gather the weight of that rig makes it a bit difficult to maneuver on the corse. Even the magpies is curious. Even some mud flying. Awesome!!

Looks fantastic. It came into its own when on the ground. I think those wide axles did make the techical bits of the course that bit tougher. Great stuff! 👍
Great video medic! Maybe make a trail for rigs with wide axles! I know you are known for not using foams but if you aren't on this rig, I think you should try it. It'll make less bouncy. I tried it without using foams on a ten lb rig and the bouncing drew me crazy!
There are foams in this rig.. Double foams actually.. because it is so heavy ;)

Ive offered to go to Tekin Headquarters many times over the years.. and they always refused. I've since moved on from Tekin to other, more cost effective solutions..

Nice looking truck and video, but at the price range, sorry to say, look like the worst performing rig I ever seen, you just forcing yourself with the terrain. That my opinion. “Definitely a nice looking truck for sure”
Would I sway your opinion when I saw I was Driving one handed - filming, Narrating and driving a very difficult track.. This would have some input on your perceived performance.. no? And the film we did on the cliffs of the california desert was simply amazing.. and its only 1500$.. the cost of any "upgraded" truck.. agreed? I love this hobby and the conversations it presents :)
You are definitely a very skill guy, I am a fan of your work and videos, doing narrative, filming and driving at the same time, is definitely a great challenge, I do believe if we want to invest on something the expensive, we really need to know how good the product does, I have a heavy rig too around 12lbs, I have tried driving it one handed and a camera in the other, you are right is very difficult. I just want to express what I see, I hope you can upload a performance video or focus run, so we can see the real performance of the rig, more power to you.

Really like your channel. I'm wanting to get into RC rock crawling and your videos are very informative. This truck you drove right now is sick and looks great but I do find it doesn't crawl over rocks as well as some of the lighter body and chassis trucks you have. It seems as though you have two power out more instead of slowly crawl over rocks. Definitely love to look at the truck though. I'm definitely wanting to pick up a truck but can't afford one. Maybe sometime in the future I'll be able to get one. Keep up the videos

Awesome video, the orange looks really good on this truck. You should check out the Orlando hunter rc crawler kit. It’s about $85 and it’s 1/35 scale. It looks like something that would be fun for indoors and maybe it would be good for eventually teaching Maurice how to build an rc kit or teaching him different parts of crawlers.

Medic, proving Canadians are so nice, wild animals stick around to say hi. How did the axle end of the cable steering system fair in the water? I think that would be my only concern about getting the truck in the muck, grim and water inside that mechanism.

Great video! Those birds appeared to be very close and not scared of you at all, they obviously don’t like the RC though. The JK Max is a really cool truck, but it looks clumsy for that course, and weighing in at 13 lbs it isn’t very agile and easily maneuverable, but it is still a really cool looking truck. Keep it up, great work as always! 👍
Looks wise it's awesome but probably not best performing out nowz!! For that price u could get a rtr scx10x2,gen8,trxr4 and 1 more rtr u choose for the same price as 1 capo wowz.. Hope u r feelingz betta my brother!!

That jeep is sick!! I wish I could afford one! My girl would skin me alive if she knew I spent that kind of money on a "toy" as she calls them......to be fair she also calls my real trucks my " toys" as well. ( At least men don't have to hide their "toys" unlike women!) 😂😂

Super sweet I found this by searching the most expensive RC crawler and bingo here I am but I'm going to sell my truck buy one and a wagon and just let that pull me to working back in the wagon so I got a pretty good plan I think anyway thanks for the video man these things are just amazing The fifth scale will be out soon I'm sure. ✌️
