Have you ever seen or experienced this first hand?
More often than you'd expect 😂
Although I agree with what you guys said, the pitch adjustments are only great for transitions but also works for a few certain songs. Not all.. Know your tracks and see what works.
great content as always guys 💯🙏🏻
@@CohenJay96 lol yes know your tracks😊 thank you for the comment😎
Hi guys. Great topics as always. Good tips. As im learning to scratch now i do get excited when getting it right nd wana do it again nd again. Problem is its not always good so i mess up a set. At least im not playing live just at hme lol. Effects as well. Use it randomly nd dnt always use it for the right reasons.Lastly i hate when djs play a song much faster than original bt dnt use the master nd it sounds crap bt they continue to play it like that.bt also they dnt gradually move up thr bpms so that it sounds more musical. Anyway keep up the good work. Love it.
@@oscarfurness481 agreed lol keep on practising 😊 thank you for the comment
Another Great Show Maloosabi. I particularly like the last topic you guys covered. I think that the introduction of the Key Lock function (Master Tempo on Pioneer) made a lot of DJ's go wild and believe that they can now beat match any song no matter how horrible it sounds to people who actually love those songs when they are played closer to their original tempos. Like you guys said, certain situations widening the pitch is great for certain transitions. What I have learned when I got back in the game, and almost myself falling into that trap, is that even when using Key Lock / Master Tempo that the veteran old school DJ rule of keeping it between -5 & +5 and avoiding the chipmunks effect (which I am so very glad you guys mentioned) and selecting your songs in a way that you build towards each next BPM stage e'g. moving within the space of a couple of songs from 120 to 128 by incrementally bumping them up using 123, 125. 126 songs in between does a lot for a steady build up of energy.
DJ's nowadays have so much music to choose from, that this should never even be a problem.
Once again, thanks for the lekke informative topics.
Cheers.
😊 thank you for the great comment and for always supporting means alot😎 if you dont mind sharing the video it will help us reach more djs
My thought around scratching would mainly be ideal for hip hop and r&b. It's sounds better. House beats is ideal for fx.
I think it is also down to preference, many hip hop djs that play house usually scratch in an acapella over a instrumental which can work, thank you for the comment😊
