The blue door is an excellent idea if the original foor is dinged up, it completely covers the flaws that paint can’t fix with a fresh new look.

An 8ft by 4ft sheet is $16. You can cut it down to look like thicker trim.

Once you add mdf to the door, it will. E too wide for the frame
