At 1:00 PM, The City of Whitesboro Texas conducted a Monthly test of their outdoor warning sirens on Tuesday, January 4th, 2022.
This siren is located at Whitesboro middle school. The sirens are Tested on the first Tuesday of the month at 1:00 PM Weather Permitting.
I was coming up to Whitesboro to re-film a sentry, when I saw this newly-installed mod right off the highway. I already filmed a sentry the day before so why the hell not.
It was EXTREMELY windy when I recorded this siren so I only used 2 of my microphones, both with windscreens on them. It seemed to work for the most part, there is still a bit of wind sound though.
One of my tripods fell during the siren test, that’s why there is a small section of audio cut off at the beginning of the video.

That tone tho. The reason why I say that is because I usually hear a dual tone with the Bs. I love the Bs for some reason

A small percentage of the adult aged English speaking population still would not figure out on their own that this siren activation is not an emergency situation. I witnessed an adult on an airplane who could not figure out how to fasten their seat belt.
