I got here with 2 health and was relieved when the guys weren't attacking. Then I talked to all of them and they all went "It's fine, it's okay, sit down." And I was like ".....stranger danger." I deliberately walked out before resting, determined to find the stag station and once I did, The Last Stag was freaked out too. Guess even when you don't fall for it immediately, it's still creepy.
Okay. I really want to know why everyone (including me) gets to this place with two hp. But, yeah, I on the other hand was so done with Deepnest what the moment I saw the bench I immediately run to it ignoring everything. I was so horrified at that moment, but I don't regret it because it's one of the most memorable moments in the game.

Deepnest isn't too bad if you've already downed flukemarm. Also, the nail art cyclone slash is definitely spammable here and not at all admonishable if team cherry is just gonna take the floor out from under ya in what should've been a mildly difficult platforming bit. That being said, I haven't seen Nosk yet. Not even the hollowganger. And I don't like deepnest enough to wander about the place looking for the fight.

The creepy-crawly noises in the background, the sudden shift in music when you enter the first time, the several scary-looking enemies that make creepy whining noises and the NPC encounters, such as the Midwife, a.k.a. Ms."Yo dawg, I heard you like cannibals, so I put a cannibal in there to try and eat you." Add to that the fact that she can see/hear if you dreamnail her and screams at you to get out of her head and you get a me going "......wut?" with a terrified squeak. To me it was the most terrifying area of the game (so far at least) because the others, even the Abyss and the sewers had an air of mysticism about them that made them feel interesting and worth exploring. So did Deepnest to an extent, but the difference was that Deepnest had all the 'NOPE' you could ask for and more. Edit: Just realized I DID say that Deepnest may be difficult. For one: whoops and for two: it's not THAT bad in terms of difficulty, though I had a few instances where I took damage purely because I was too scared to think straight if I remember correctly.

But then when I realized I couldn’t look at my map and saw them inching closer to me, I literally got on my hands and knees and threw up! Just 2 days ago I got there with much less unlocked health and soul collector. (I only got one full mask and orb.) I had half health and when I talked to them and when they said to rest, I thought it was suspicious. So I got out of there, discovered stag station with a *broken* bench. I thought it was even more sus, so I bought the stag thing to call it, went to Dirtmouth to save my game (and also heal) and went back there to take a seat. After the knockout and waking up part, when it said "Beast's Den", I thought I was in huge trouble. It turned out it has some sleeping bug with a forcefield on it(I tried attacking it) above the nest/den, and a *HUGE* skeleton almost(or practically) above the room with a working bench. When I saw just the cloths of the cultists, I thought it was the huge monster but rethought about it (Since it was a skeleton already) and thought it was either the sleeping dude, or they ran away in case me, the sacrifice, wasn't a complete good breakfast. One more thing, what is that ability? The talking to those dead guys in the other hut/house?
I was trying to get out of the den for at least 1 hours before search how to... this place is a mazee for me... finally saved and gonna sleep now... good night/day everyone...
For shield face guys, activate great slash and then walk to them, hit them as soon as they open the mouth and dash back to avoid their attack. Two great slash and one shadow attack does the trick, or you can just use great slash to easily kill them without loosing anything
I fell for this trap so fast and now I'm stuck, I can get to the second stalking devout but then I die. For reference I only have 6 masks of health and one soul vessel so I probably shouldn't be there right now 😅

I think they are just mindless pupets. You can't read their thoughts with the Dream Nail (you don't even get the "..." message, it's just that no dialogue box will appear). And after you kill Herrah, they are "dead".
