Plugging the ULTs in an Xbox and Playstation controller allows you to use Noise canceling and Ambient sound. I notice some people say it doesnt work. It does work! really well too.
Finally a review that explains that you do have a choice between heavy bass and listening to music the way you want to! Other reviews can't seem to get past the heavy bass!
My 1000XM3's just won't die. Taken them all over the world they're still solid. I had some wired Extended Bass Sony's back in the day. Wish I still had them. The pads fell apart and I got rid of them. Before I knew replacing Pads was a thing.
I've been hooked to this line since the WH-XB900N, a video you did because my "DJ" looking cheap headphones broke, I had done the Beats Solo and the SMS Audio headphones and was ready to invest in something better. I traveled with the WH-XB900N's and it was AMAZING. Eventually had to change the pads after a few years, and since one arm kept slipping out when adjusting size I upgraded about 3 or 4 years ago to the WH-1000XM4. It was the same quality but with all the "new" features, it took me a while to adjust to being able to talk and my audio stopped cuz it recognized me speaking, or if I take them off it pauses what I'm listening to, or if I laid down and moved a certain way it would pause, due to the way I was wearing. Will DEF cop these. Thanks for the review!

When it comes to king of bass, i think its the skull candy skull crushers. Not saying they sound the best, but the are absolutely the most powerful bass. These Sony headphones are good on the bass side though and much more balanced than the skull crushers.

Please tell me if the equalizer works in the Sony app in this model of headphones when using the "LDAC" codec, since the xb900n equalizer only works when the AAC and SBS codec are enabled. This information is very important for me, because if the equalizer is still unavailable in the new headphones in the "ldaс" codec, then I don't see any point in changing my XB900n headphones to this new model
How do they sound when using in wired mode? Similar to the xb 950n1’s? Tried the 1000xm4 and its somewhat off for me. Also hows the latency for something like pc gaming?
I havent tested wired, but I can Tell you I have played games wirelessly with them without noticing big delay. Update: Wired is without noticeable Delay, Wireless is about 1/4 of a second behind.

for skullcandy sony is a mile even not close to Sony and in terms of bass ult 2 can kill the crusher and ult's volume is louder than crusher and the bass is fake crusher need to improve bass
I have indeed used this at the gym, but if I'm honest, I'm noticing my beats studio pros or 3s are better at the gym. They are lighter and clamp a little better for me. That's not going to stop me though for those days I want more bass.
Haha. They should have made it so the transparency mode stays on when you activate with your hand and another touch disables it. Not only is it easier to just slide the ear cup off your ear, but you get to stand there with your hand over your headset for an entire conversation, looking like a total dweeb. 😂 It would have been nice if they introduced a voice detection feature that activated transparency mode automatically like the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro have. It's such a useful feature. I picked up the Crusher ANC 2 yesterday based on all the positive reviews and after a full day of testing and listening to a bunch of different genres, I think I might exchange them for these instead. The bass is absolutely insane and definitely worth experiencing in your life, but I found the overall sound quality to be disappointing and as cool as it is to experience the head rattling bass, anything over 50% is just ridiculous and becomes annoying after a few minutes. Not to mention the sound becomes so muddy and the bass overpowers EVERYTHING else. It's definitely fun to experience, but in the end I find it more of a novelty. I love a lot of bass and low end, but I also really appreciate the rest of the sound to be clear and crisp and be able to distinguish different instruments. Something just seems off about the overall sound of the Crusher and I can't quite describe it. I'm going to pick these up before returning the Crushers so I can do an accurate comparison. Seems kind of steep if you ask me. I never find the sound or build quality to meet my standard when it comes to shelf brands. $200 can get you a much better sounding set, possibly even better built, you are paying so much for them being wireless. And that they are Sony.
As I own both, they are such different headphones. The ULTs are so much more about bass. The M4s are way more balanced, much closer to the audiophile end of the spectrum.

Wearing the same pair when I saw this vid- is good! Surprisingly decent ANC & nice low bass. These are my headphones for having fun listening to w the V shape sound profile. They do look huge on my head tho 💀

@@keithpalacios9417 while I don't own the XM5 or 4s I think the two pairs just sound too different to really compare at the same level except features. The Ultwear is for big punchy fun sound whole XM5 is more clear mature sound from what I've gathered. I think their ANC is comparable but ultwear is slightly worse in certain frequencies.
The AirPods Max might not have that much bass, but that’s what makes them sound objectively better, the ULT WEAR headphones are for those who don’t care about a more neutral or an objectively more balanced sound experience, only for bassheads, not audiophiles.
This is no doubt a great headphone, but for bass, airpods max donot even come to comparison. For sound quality and engineering the only brand comes miles ahead of the league is BOSE. Even sony xb series headphones sounds way better than airpods.
Personally, I think anybody who wears over-the-ear headphones outside in public looks like a goofball. Home and Planes and even on a Plane is a stretch when EarBuds today are so good.

@@kyrios1120 i don’t know how its in wired Mode, i will Check later and tell you, but the mic works in Bluetooth, but you can notice a slight delay.
