Idk what ppl have been complaining about. I tested these at Best Buy earlier. They sound very good and the bass fits in very well, but mids and vocals are very good still. Theyre not too tight or muddy. Ppl who think so dont know what they're listening to
I upgraded from the 910n’s to the ultwear and it’s so much better the bass is better and the noise cancelation is better and the new ult button is great and I got mine for 178 dollars
Please, stop encouraging people to use their headphones for running or working outs. They're not meant to be used in such conditions. They're not IP-rated, not water/splash proof and if any water-ingress related stuff happens, the warranty will be voided straight away. For these sort of activities, proper, ip-rated ear buds are the only way to go. Why would anyone want to wear a quarter/half kilo sweat-can on their head in the first place? I don't understand...

Adjusted eq in a linear line inclining up starting with bass at 0 and treble almost right up + ULT1 setting +Clear bass +3. This creates palpable sound like on the instrumental “Open Sunroof” by Xander Swallows where the Sony ULTs are stellar!
I don’t know if something is wrong with mine, but the bass is so low on mine and not as loud as my xb950n1 sound is also low overall. Even on ult 2 it’s just not hitting for me.
I own Sony Ult. I would say this headphone is not really durable as mine has crack a little. The bass is kinda okay. Would much prefer to save for XM5 instead
Hi, Thank you for the review, I use xb900n headphones which are still good for me, but I'm looking at these new bass headphones from Sony. Please tell me if the equalizer works in the Sony app in this model of headphones when using the "LDAC" codec, since the xb900n equalizer only works when the AAC and SBS codec are enabled. This information is very important for me, because if the equalizer is still unavailable in the new headphones in the "ldaс" codec, then I don't see any point in changing my XB900n headphones to this new model
I would have to disagree with you on statement of the he ULTware not having loud bass, they are way better than 900n and 910n , and I have all 3 , and every review I have also watched has said the same thing , so not sure you have yours tuned correctly.

yes i agree with you i gone last weekend to headphones store and tasted bot and crusher i promise you ult have better than everythings even crusher anc beacose volume was low just have vibrations bass and ult have punchy and louder than crusher and i dont say enything about xb 910 beacose it was fallen 😂😂😂😂😂
Exactly!!! Love my XB900ns. I own like 5 pair. I look for them on second hand sites all the time. I thought i was imagining things going by the other reviews of the ULT Wear.
I think it's a solid pair of headphone ! All considerated I think they are the best on market right now ... overall the anc if great , the built is quite good , the fit is good , the features and price ! And the are Ecco friendly , not mention the shiny logos , I like it !
I tried both too and i preferred the overall sound of the ult wear. The ult wear sound soooo good. Good mids, good highs, clean deep bass on ult 1 and find my EQ feature and clear bass 7. The ANC2 have louder bass with headrattling, but muddier mids, highs and narrower soundstage. I can't use the Anc2 without Tidal to tone them down.

Not everyone likes having something in their ears. That's why I only really use on-ear or over-ear headphones.
I'm using Wh-1000xm5 now. I think I'll buy this ult bass version for back up/secondary wireless headphone. Just awesome 😎✌🏻

I have the ult and the 910n and I think the Ult have a much better bass than the xb910n

@@pjtoohot depends also on your music source and phone. I use spotify on an iPhone and the bass gives me headaches

Confused between going for the ULT Wear or ULT field 1 i know both are different products, but currently i am confused as both look good to me.
I have the 900N and they are okay, though the pads are not the best. I have the Audeze Maxwell if I want to blast my ears with loud and powerful bass.

Gymcaddy is wrong. Nothing made by Sony has better bass than the ult wear. Its only that their bass is CLEANER. The 900Ns are muddier.

That’s not natural bass , my sound louder but not natural and the hepatic motors don’t hit all the right bass notes 🎶 correctly.

Crusher anc2 may sound better than sonyxb900 & xb910...
