Braided masonry line works great, especially for larger bevelers

Man, I am so glad you made this...I constantly fight with my edgers getting dull but just cant make myself spend that much on a proper edger strop lol
Im gonna try that method out right away, its amazing to me that a LOT of new edgers come to you dull right out the gate, so this will help me a lot. One day I will make a proper edger strop lol

I absolutely love Chuck's videos. The shop tricks series is fantastic. But.. yes, there's a but: they need more cats. We know they are there roaming the shop Chuck!

Topic suggestion: how to get smooth and even color when applying dye with a dauber. I've made a dozen pieces and struggle every time to not have blotches of different darkness. And I don't have enough dye to fill a dip dye tray.

I've done the string trick to sharpen my beveler. Be very careful not to put a slot in the cutting edge. Sharpening on a strop is safer when you're a beginner, no slot to be cut in the edge of the tool.

Nice collection of short video shop tips. Have you considered taking a single short video tip and sharing it during one of your live streams. As word gets out I am positive your viewership during the live stream will increase. Thanks for sharing.

OLD Leather Smith here, nice job Chuck, being I have done this 4 a little while I own a lot of Weaver Tools. Instead of nails I buse cup hooks. You can put more items on them instead of nails. I use paint stir sticks or a 1 1/2 to 2" piece of saddle leather scrap with a hole at one end as a strip but I also own the Weaver strop board works very well. GOD'S BLESSINGS ✝️ 🥎 🙃

Topic Suggestion: Two dye colors on one piece with transition. If you've already done this, could you point me towards the video, please?

Any tips for left handers. I have noticed that it's a big disadvantage when it comes to outlining and cutting patterns. I always seems to get more movement and more inconsistent cutting than my right handed leather working friends.

Way off topic here. I’m wondering how large is your shop and how large are your work tables?
