Done Nowtv a few times overall not bad although the fact that you after pay £5 a month extra for Boost to get HD and 5.1 sound isn’t right should come as standard. Also the 5.1 sound is only avaliable from Ondemand not live channels. Regarding Sky Go I’m currently Beta testing for Appletv this is the second time I’ve done it so can’t disclose to much more. Hope that helps. 😊
To be fair when I had Now TV in the past, I almost always only used the catch-up for the entertainment package which has a huge library to choose from! I barely if ever watched live tv!
The thing I’ve found with Now TV is it’s the sort of thing you dip in and out of depending on the content you want to watch. For me I don’t see the point of paying £30+ each month for sky Stream or even Sky Q just for the odd thing I want to watch on Sky. I would rather subscribe to Now Tv every now and again and binge the couple of shows I want to watch. It’s not the sort of thing you would pay every single month for unlike Sky where you are paying for the complete package and the convenience of having it all in the one place. Another well put together video though, I’m really enjoying your channel.
I have just sent sky stream back and will continue with NOW at a discount. Sky stream was very good, liked having all content in one place. But some picture resolution issues. I now have NOW entertainment at £4 pound a month for 1 year.
Absolutely brilliant mate, an honest personal review, from a real person, cut right to the chase on every one of the points I was viewing the video for, didn't need to watch any further videos on the topic, that addressed everything.
I think there are a couple of things missed. You went into the entertainment live tv bit but that is not the main thing the £9.99 is for. It a bit like Netflix, if you had gone into the entertainment section it would have been full of box sets, which is the main point. You do get offers if you cancel like you said, I’m currently on £6.99. I just want to get everything in I’m not saying now tv is better. I really want stream and would get it except for what I’m reading about adverts. From what I get you pay the extra to skip them in stream but even in the box sets you are taken out of the show and have to take action to skip, taking you out of the moment. On Now tv boost removes the adverts altogether. I’m still on the fence with stream, if only the ads could be removed for that extra you have to pay. Your points about boost are also maybe a bit unfair as sky stream now charge 6 quid to get better picture and sound and 5 quid to skip ads, so that is an 11 quid premium. Just my thoughts, like I said I like the look of stream and your videos have shown it off well. I will probably switch to it, it’s just the thought of ads pulling me out of the moment 😊
Ahhh I didn’t see that and that fact you got it for £6.99 is great. But yesterday I also noticed Sky Go is now an App for Apple TV 4K and it has everything from what I can see apart from it’s only 720HD and no surround sound. In my opinion Kay should use Sky Go as the main app for all devices they would make a killing.
@@stevemarruk What is the ad situation on stream like when watching box sets? I do really want to get it. I originally thought that ads were on live tv and at the beginning of episodes in the box set area. Is it bad?

Sky Cinema for £4.99 and Sky Sports for £20. It is best for Box Sets with out the hassle of Fast Forwarding. I'm completely going through some of the same things you are lol. I'm trying to find the best music streaming service and can't decide between Spotify, apple or the likes of tidal. I have the Sky Stream on free trial till the end of January and it's completely thrown me off. As my TV is android so has most of the apps I need. I actually purchased a Roku as wanted to be able to mirror my imac to it (i recently switched to a samsung fold 0hone so still kind of in the apple eco system apart from the phone lol) and then started liking the roku and its interface and the quality. I was getting hdr 10+ on amazon prime. I did have the apple tv box at some point aswell lol. But now especially with all the football I'm loving just using sky stream and all the apps work so well. SkyVIP is giving 6 months apple tv at the moment. But there's something about the sky stream box that I just can't get my head around and it might just be me but the picture quality is unbelievable just amazing throughout the entire interface and the apps and the actual content all very high quality and it enables me to watch normal TV and "record" and the remote lights up. Its becoming my fav all in one device for my TV needs. So come January ill need to decide if I cam pay the £29 a month. I have the Ultra HD add on but there's a little small print that says it's only for the Sky shows. Tbh I don't watch many sky shows. Normally Netflix,Disney apple and RUclips. Your understanding of Now is very poor I would suggest you delete this video as your review of now is completely wrong on the sky entertainment channels are included to watch from beginning to end some shows such as last of us episodes are added weekly and most now customers when they go to cancel are offered a discount so most of us do not pay the full price so now is excellent value without commitment only shame there is know UHD or Dolby Atmos but surround is 5.1
The other thing about now tv is if you buy the boost you can have up to 3 people stream at the same time so can watch in 2 different rooms without having to pay £15 for multi room like u do from sky. And the 3 streams dont have to be in the same house hold so share the cost

Hi Rate My Tech I enjoyed your video about sky tv & now tv. Did you no NowTv is own by SKY TV I have had Now Tv for 4 years now been happy because if you cancel a now tv package they offer you like a discount of movies or entertainment like 6 months half price. depend what offer Now Tv at the time of you cancel at that time. and you can cancel any package time. Now Tv you don't have to be in a contract. like skyTv you have to be in a contract like over 12 months or more. You mention about Sky Go thats in a subscripton through the older Sky HD boxs what every what SKY HD package you pay for is what you get on SKY GO streaming services. Iam not in favour with not getting SKY Stream or Sky Glass because people are been forced to pay more to have a internet connection to use sky stream & sky glass thats a another bill to pay out for to watch sky stream or sky glass not every one has not have money to keep paying for TV Stream service. not like the satellite service is for free. I have a IP TV streaming services that has every thing on it like movies sport kids and on Demand & get channel around the world to. I just pay £15.00 month using android boxs. here is the IP TV boxs I got . www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07JVF8FZ3/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_image_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Then down load iview HD at you play store I hope I have been helpfull Plz keep up the gd work take care

Hi Rate My Tech I for got to tell you on nowtv if you payed for the Now Tv Entertainment package you get the kids package for free now like sky stream does. and how meany sky tv channel you can watch in one everning more SKY channel more more more dam adverts in my eyes on a paid TV service there should be any adverts on every sky tv package thxs
I agree if you pay for a service like a subscription there should be no adverts like Netflix
l got sky go on ps4
What is your favourite streaming service?

What? How? Now tv doesn’t have 4k content 🤔 that’s the whole and what makes it different to sky stream
Brother i am your big fan can i get a now tv account From you❤️😁
Hi Rate My Tech I enjoyed your video about sky tv & now tv.
Wow nice feedback and thank you
