About my 10th time making this now and my favorite combo has been broccoli onion and bell pepper, so delicious! A winner every time and now will be a Christmas tradition for me! Merry Christmas and thanks for all you share!
Vintage Kevin pop up today. Happy Thanksgiving holiday to you. Since becoming a sub., your sub # have greatly increased. Very much deserved. You did a nice job and put lots of effort into your channel. Happy Holidays as we wind down 2023. ❤❤
It looks a lovely quiche. Oh I adore your cat. She meows like a little baby and she really misses you when you are cooking . I am sure you adored her too.
I made this on Sunday for my mother. She's not a fan of quiche with crust, but loves hashbrowns. She was so thrilled with this quiche and I'm so glad to be able to make a fancy breakfast that she enjoys!
What a MAGNIFICENT quiche!! I love all of your ingredients and how it turned out for you! Great work, in deed! Thank you for sharing your recipe and making us a video of it. Bon Appetit! 👌😉👍💚🥬🤍💛🥚🧀🤎🍖🤎🥔
You always have the tastiest ideas, Kevin! My daughter is the vegan quiche expert here...made with tofu (I know...but it's not what you imagine...very rich and yummy) and I just made a seitan ham so we're good to go. Thank you!
That looks fantastic, Kevin. I love quiche but have never tried the hash brown crust. That looks so tasty, I shall most certainly give it a go! Glad the crust didn't stick like glue! Thank you for another great recipe.
Kevin, I just found your channel tonight and I'm hooked. I can hardly wait to try this quiche (we're getting company tomorrow), so it will make a nice breakfast while they are here. I'm so excited you are using nutmeg. I call it the magical spice, and I don't think many people know about it. My mother always used freshly grated nutmeg in her chicken soup and the fluffly dumplings. Her mother used nutmeg in her chicken soup, and so do I. I use it in quiche as well. Five years ago when we moved to NC, my husband and I went out to a nice restaurant one evening and I ordered their macaroni and cheese, which the waiter said had a "secret" ingredient. It was very good. I immediately thought the secret ingredient might be nutmeg, and told the waiter, who didn't know, but when he asked the chef, it was indeed nutmeg! Nutmeg just does something special to certain dishes.
Love this idea. I love to have friends over for brunch and this is a novel twist on the usual quiche. Also a nice twist on eggs and hash browns! I will make it in the future.
Oh my Kevin this made my mouth water when it came out of the oven!!! -- I would have never thought to use hash browns as a crust, what a great idea!!!! :)
So I got back from a camping trip in Vermont and New York and tuned in so I could catch up with your channel. OMG. you’ve been busy. A difficult choice since you’ve showcased a number of winning recipes. Today we had the quiche. Fabulously delicious. The potato crust really was a big hit. Thank you Kevin for sharing. The Tex mex casserole and ice cream will be in my near future. You never disappoint! Judy.
Thanks for another great video. I would love another one of your garden tour videos, to see how things have changed. You have such an impressive garden!
I love any kind of quiche and this looks so good! I'm glad you forgot the spray, so I can cut that bit of oil out. My grandmother's recipe for traditional quiche calls for putting parmesan cheese on the crust for the last 5-10 minute to keep it from getting soggy whether eating it immediately or as leftovers. I can't wait to try this. I bet Mr. Fox loves coming home for these goodies.
For my second quiche I modified the recipe a little by substituting smoked salmon for the ham, added sautéed onions and a special ingredient - a table spoon of Worchester sauce. Very tasty.
Thanks for another great vid. I love making quiche crust with potatoes because I'm too lazy to make a pastry crust. 😂 But I never thought to pre-cook to make it crispy so now I will try your recipe! I'll replace the ham with mushrooms or zucchini (or both) and make some non-dairy subs (allergy). Quick question: if my pie plate is not deep dish, will I need to adjust any measurements? Thank you!
What a sweet welcoming 😘 love quiche but never did w hash browns potatoes omg sound delish🥧 Kevin I'd like to know what u use on your face, such beautiful skin 💝
This looks delicious 😋 I am happy the crust did not stick to the pan😊 Do you think this would work with leftover mashed potato, Kevin? It is simply a matter of curiosity 😂🎉
I was so glad to find this recipe! My elderly mother loves quiche, but not a regular crust. She's a fiend for hash browns, so I can't wait to try it!

Thank you for posting, Kevin. I always think quiche is 'too hard'. You made it look approachable, doable and delicious!
I enjoyed this quiche yesterday and had more today
for breakfast. The hash brown crust is outstanding.
Goes well with avocado and honeydew melon.
I'm so glad you enjoyed the quiche!

Looks so good! Here I go to Amazon to buy a blending fork. They should give you a cut for all the stuff I buy that you have used😉
Hashbrowns sure look extra delicious in this recipe. Yum.
What a versatile dish!
Yay brunch. Thank you

Yes, I will give your lovely, lovely quiche (sans ham) a try. Soon. The has brown crust is brilliant!

Poor Kevin, forgot the Pam🤦♀️🤣 I love though how he admits to his mistakes, let’s us all see his cooking on camera warts and all!!!❤
Fabulous recipe! Thanks!!

I love the fillings you selected for your quiche. YUM.
Thankyou so much I want to try your Quiche soon you have a very appealing way of presenting the recipe very pleasant thankyou again.
I am going to try this using grated potatoes. Looks so good!
It may be soggy if you don't use the frozen Hashbrowns.
@@carlaradke4066 true. Might have to dry them first.
Looks delicious
Oh how I wish I could eat eggs ❤️this looks delicious 😋 thank you, have been loving the fact that you are putting out more videos 🥂🍾🙏❣️
I love your videos. How refreshing to see you forget something sometimes. I have often forgotten ingredients.
I agree!
Looks great. I love those hash browns.
Extra sharp cheddar! Yum. I live in dairy country where area creameries have amazing cheese. This quiche crust is my next dish prep. Can’t wait!

Another success x
What a great recipe!!!
I think I might make a frittata with a crust like that.
How interesting to use potaties instead if flour......
Looks absolutely delicious....
T HIS is what I do for tonight...
Just made it! Delicious!
So glad you enjoyed it!
Looks delish...will definitely try :)
Wow, Kevin, looks so delicious!!
I want to make this. I live in Mexico so I can’t buy hash browns nearby but I can shred a couple potatoes and be sure to squeeze out the moisture
Most beautiful . . .
You deserve all of the good superlatives . . .
x DJ
I've never tried the hash brown crust but I will and I will put it through a salad spinner instead of a towel
looks reeally Good!
What a sweet welcoming 😘 love quiche but never did w hash browns potatoes omg sound delish🥧 Kevin I'd like to know what u use on your face, such beautiful skin 💝
VERY NICE KEVIN 😎😎😎
Yum!
This looks delicious 😋 I am happy the crust did not stick to the pan😊 Do you think this would work with leftover mashed potato, Kevin? It is simply a matter of curiosity 😂🎉
I tried to warn you about adding the Pam but you couldn’t hear me!!!!
Are you eating it cold?
I put a spoon of dijon mustard in mine. Mmmm.
I'd like to try this crust option, using grated frozen cauliflower (thawed & squeezed to remove extra moisture). What do you think?
A cauliflower crust might work out just fine!
You could use mashed potatoes!
