Heavy is the head that wears the crown. I have an 8S Kraton an 8s Outcast an 8s Super Rock Rey and an X-MAXX and the reality is whatever is going to unseat the X-MAXX isn't anything on the market today and that includes the fantastic looking but acrobaticly disinclined XRT.
I love my XRT already. I put bigger tires on it, and that made a big difference when it comes to air control. Yes it's harder to get a backflip with the XRT, but it can be done. Yes, the Xmaxx is better for stunts. But the XRT Is smooth and very controlable in the air and during high speed turns 👍
The Outcast 8s is nice, but out of the box, the Xmaxx can take way more abuse. I have both, and I've had to dump a lot of money into the 8s Outcast to make it durable. And it still breaks more than my X-Maxx during big jumps and bad landings indeed. Great review and video as usual. I had to put an M2C chassis on the Outcast 8s and EXB parts BTW. It was a lot of money
I've got the Outcast 8S and is tons of fun and absolutely love it!!! Nice video, can't wait to see the match up between the two. Great content, keep it up. Thanks!
Yeah man, this is great fun and I think it can stand up to the king. It's mostly metal though so I hope it'll have enough give for the hits we'll deliver.
I bought the Outcast 8s EXB on sale for 481.00 and then bought the Hobbywing Max5 and 1100kv combo for 254.00 on sale. Add a $65 servo and a $28 receiver and I couldn't be happier with this beast for $800ish. My next beast will be an XMaxx which I hope ends my obsession with large RCs;-) Now if I could just end my new "rock crawling" obsession!!!
Hi, it's difficult to decide, I'm more Traxxas oriented but in the matter of facts Arrma is very very good and different so it's not a copy that today is a great thing.
My prediction is Traxxas is the more durable one since it is engineered plastic with a lot of shock absorption. It also has a bulletproof drivetrain. Will be a fun shootout.
Exb outcast 8s roller is better value especially when on sale. M2c chassis and some m2c brace ends its pretty durable. Xmaxx for the jumping I do will require more mods both extremely fun though. Xmaxx is like a monster truck a bit clumsy and part of its charm the outcast is more stable in every way. Best to own both though 🤑
Selling both products at a HB I ran I won't own an arrma again. I love my Xmaxx tho.. and had more customers complain about breaking/ parts & electronics failure with arrma right off the gate. Including my own arrma trucks.
I am willing to bet your credit card is ringing and thrumming like bell that's gotten hit by an errant cannon ball. lol. And I'll bet you've gotten stronger hauling those weighty beasts around!
youtube said xmaxx is king so i bought one after owning the k8s and o8s. xmaxx is a big blob of poop, handles like absolute crap, you can only tighten a screw ones before the plastic gives out and the crew just falls out, all the factory gears are garbage and will strip asap. outcast is king in my opinion
Seems like they both eqaual in away the xmax may be more durable but seems like the electronics are cheap and gonna fail probably why they got no warranty so could take that money and beef up the arrma cause u got 2years worth of electronics on that so idunno tossed up between the 2 dont no what one to get.....
@@RCReviewChannel No one I know stays with the stock tires. There to cheap. The ties use cost me $235.00. I run it about 2 hours a day for the past year and are still no sign of wearing out.

Rrrrrrrright??? The Xmaxx is so durable and versatile that they gave it new clothes and called it the XRT.

Which one would you say has more torque for pulling power
Wouldn’t the better comparison be the Traxxas sledge or xrt?

Two beast for sure. Good thing I don't have to choose which one😊 Great video!
You have both? OMG. I'm doing a shootout to see which one I'll keep :)
@@RCReviewChannel Tell my back about it😆 Can't wait for the shootout. That's going to be a hard decision.

Will the outcast body fit the xmaxx
What batteries are you using in the outcast?

Hola Amigo muy bienos dias , saludos a usted y toda su familia , le deseo un exvelente dias saludos desde Panama con cariño un abrazo
Gracias amigo.
Good job friend
Thanks buddy. It was a lot of work this one, just to load in the car.
Very good 👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you.
Both great trucks cant fault them. If i have the money i will get both. But if I’m only have to choose 1, l’ll pick the XMaxx because of the body.
Yeah xmaxx body mount is a revolution. For body clips this big on the Arrma, one almost needs pliers to take them off.
Till the body keeps popping off
Locks the videos bro
thank you.

It's all about leverage as these things are as heavy as my mountain bikes. I need leverage on my credit card too. :)
the xmax is plastic chassis
That may be the single greatest factor why it's almost indesctructible

Their already guys out there running 12s on XMAXX's.
Cool that the drivetrain can take it. The tires though get destroyed so quickly.

Holy Mackerel! 12s? Do the starlines streak when they break the speed of light?
@@warbuzzard7167 I don't know. I don't have a 12s setup. But the videos out there. And there crazy
