@@santiagorojas7195 it was in the same LUT package that he suggested but a different one than he picked. You can just try them all out very quickly and see which one looks best for your project.

However its a filter that bring some colors back mind is still not exact the same, but your tip was faster and more effective than two other you tubers that i tried, they took me to setting , color etc and no changes! The question is why in Davinci colors are washed off at the first place, and isn't the case with with FCP and Premier?

Bless your soul! I was watching other videos and they were showing the file management setting which I believe helps on the export (was a problem I also had so hope that helps) but wasn't working on the import! This did! I also saw a comment on another video that said you need to change the format of your iphone camera in your iphone settings from High Efficiency to Most Compatible. Looking at the description in the settings, that seems to make sense. So I made all three of these changes. I also bought premiere pro strictly because I thought it was just Davinci Resolve, but this same color error was happening in there too so now I can cancel it :).

go to settings (bottom right) - Color management - and put output color space 'same as timeline'
