    Chrissie it is a beautiful book, I made a fabric & lace book with large pockets for keepsakes for my Mother in Law, I also added a writing journal which I had to take apart & add more pages for all the stories & memories. It would have been a WOPPER of a size so I made one main journal 11X 9ish & several folders to go with it. the large journal each page I decreased a 1/4 " so they would sit nicely together.. My Next one will be much smaller but still as pretty.

    HI Chrissie, I loved hearing you say you were pretending ironing...lol...lol and was that an ironing cloth under...lol...lol...😂 I have to ask are you going to make a pouch for your fabric book? I have watched your Playlists for everything fabric you have ever made. I decided to try a Bible cover. I have had a piece of burlap forever with birds on it. I don't know if you ever have covered a school book with a paper bag?? I used that as a pattern. I then got a new pillow case edged in lace for the inside, I did not put anything in the pillow case to stuff it...I now know what to do for the filler after watching this you tube. I guess you could say I made just two huge pages. I have been having fun with a few pieces at a time of coffee stained lace. I do not want to cover the birds. I just took my dog out and 3 inches of snow large flakes. I could hear them hitting my parka. I know yes I did say parka. I had to use a blower to get all the snow of my supper furry dog. I guess that is why he did not drop his coat this year. He is a blue and white large sheltie. He is such a snow dog...lol I think the tag in the center is my favorite tag...if it would be possible to have just one favorite. I will have to watch some of your classic boho style playlists.. Laura

    • @chrissiecrosser
      @chrissiecrosser  3 года назад

      Hi Laura, thanks for watching. I felt a bit silly pretending I was ironing lol!! i wasn't planning on making a pouch for the book but perhaps that is a good idea..I may at some point as I could get quite dirty being white and at least the pouch could help it stay clean. I love that you made a Bible cover and are dyeing some lace..that's great. Did you hand sew it or machine sew it? It sounds so cold where you live but I bet it is super pretty. I loved when we got snow back in New Zealand where I lived there. We won't every get it here in the sub tropics but other places with cooler climates do get snow here in Australia. I bet your doggie loves the snow. Keep warm :)

      @@chrissiecrosser so far only hand sew😀I think maybe now I could machine sew after it is stuffed. My dog blends in with the snow. It was a surprise snow. I looked it up on line and it said 100%chance of snow. lol I guess they changed that right after it started to snow...lol Laura🙄

    Знаете, что я думаю, просматривая подобные ролики? Мне 48, большая часть жизни позади... Иногда накатывает грусть от того, что ты что-то не успел, где-то не реализовался, что-то упустил... Наши близкие порой от нас отворачиваются, дети становятся злыми и циничными, хотя ты старался вложить в них самое лучшее... В итоге полное разочарование и тоска... Да ещё на фоне этой войны планетного масштаба!!! Хочется среди всего этого мракобесия и полного непонимания найти островок любви, покоя и умиротворения! И такими точками опоры становятся маленькие радости вроде тех, что Вы приносите в своих репортажах. Это так греет душу... Я хочу примкнуть к Вашему таланту и научиться творить подобную красоту. Спасибо, что Вы и Вам подобные люди есть на нашей прекрасной и многострадальной планете! С любовью, из России, Ирина!🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺
